  I am currently stuck in Safe Mode reboot loop. This happened after I opted to enter Safe Mode via MSconfig (box checked/SafeBoot in BOOT. INI tab). I am unable to secure through all normal boot, command, etc.

  I have already installed Recovery Console but I try to use it, I get the error "UNMPOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" on blue screen.

  I don't have a Windows XP CD, so last night I started with Knoppix successfully but can not access the Boot.ini file. I think it's because the encryption (Encryption Plus Hard Disk of GuardianEdge) provided with the laptop software. Before this has is spent, during the boot process, I get the login screen of encryption before Windows XP starts. Without this step, I can't access all the files.

  My question is this: is it possible to achieve connection encryption while that started using Knoppix?

  I bought an Asus laptop only 3 weeks ago. Tried to open the pdf with Adobe reader. Computer froze. Tried to restart and now its stuck on the blue screen restart.   This problem could be due to corruption of the system files, I suggest you try to perform auto repair using Windows 8 disc of Windows recovery environment (WinRE) and check if it helps.

  To run auto repair on follow computer Windows 8 as follows:

  a. Insert the media (USB or DVD) and restart your computer.

  b. press on the key F12 (usually it's F12, but it may differ between computer manufacturers) and choose the drive in which you inserted into the installation media.

  c. once the Windows Setup window appears, follow these steps:

  d. click Next and select repair your computer.

  e. you will see an option to choose and then a blue screen. Choose the troubleshooting option and select advanced options.

  f. you can choose automatic repair of the advanced boot option.

  I installed the windows 7 one instead of. In any case, I fixed that by closing the Task Manager installation program, that the I started the software in the start menu, and believe it or not, it worked great.   Update for Windows 8 (KB2771431) was released in December 2012, which the fixed an issue that was causing this update stops responding at 12% and caused also updated KB2756872 to stop responding to 13% of configuration updates.

  If you hide one of these up-to-date or disabled the automatic updates to avoid this problem, you can now activate or restore your updates and search for new updates.  Details on how to restore updates can be found here.

  To search for new updates:

  1. Type Windows Update in the start screen, press or click settings, and then tap or click install optional updates.
  2. Press or click the link in the upper left corner that says check the updates.

  If anyone can help with installation of the HP officejet pro 6830 drivers/software on Windows 2012.   The HP documentation says that 2012 Windows is supported, but here there are no drivers available for Windows 2012.  Windows 8.1 and 2008 drivers do not install in Windows 2012.  Any help is appreciated.
