  • Windows 7 64 Bit update error Code 8E5E03FE

I just bought a new PC running Windows 7 64 bit and made my first run updates of Windows very well, that everything installed OK. Then, most of the updates and everything I try they fail with "Error 8E5E03FE", help on Windows itself is absolutely useless with this problem and I tried almost EVERY solution I can find elsewhere on the internet for the same problem and have gotten nowhere.

I tried to install the updates with a clean boot and firewall off etc which did not help at all. I also tried to download the files manually from Microsoft Download Center and every update still does not work.

My system is BRAND NEW, so I don't understand what the cause of the errors and four updates are updates to security I want to install successfully.

Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated.

  • WINDOWS VISTA 32-BIT UPDATES

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME GET UPDATES FOR WINDOWS VISTA 32 BIT?   I AM NOT GETTING THE ERROR CODES, JUST CONTINUES ON THE LEFT SEARCH BAR RIGHT AND DOES NOTHING. NOTHING IS FOUND TO DOWNLOAD. I'VE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM.

    Hi BluesBlaster:

If your initial "check for updates..." Windows Update crashes during long periods without raising an error, this is a widespread problem currently affecting many users of Vista SP2.

Some users find that "check for updates..." will be finally run full if you let run for several hours, but there is also a workaround solution posted on the page Web of Dalai to http://wu.krelay.de/en/ that accelerates the Windows Update for the affected users. Of workaround requires users to pre-install the kernel-mode Windows updates (Win32K.sys) driver listed on this Web page, if one is missing from your system before running Windows Update.  I used Dalai for the latest Patch workaround three Tuesdays (the second Tuesday of each month) and has reduced my search for 'check for updates...' updates available for 6 or 7 hours up to approx. 25 min.

Step-by-step instructions posted on 16 June 2016 wire m #l's updates does not, it was the search for updates to the hours are based on workaround of Dalai and will guide you through the installation process of packages update stand-alone (.msu files) for your updates Win32K.sys missing.

As of today (11-Sep-2016) the current list of updates Win32K.sys on the page Web of Dalai is: KB3078601 (rel. 18 August 2015); KB3109094 (rel. 7 December 2015); KB3145739 (rel. 12 April 2016); KB3164033 (rel. June 14, 2016); KB3168965 (rel. July 12, 2016); KB3177725 (rel. 9 August 2016). Just install the updates that are not in your system, so if you have been fully patched at the end of July 2016 you must have to install manually the last KB3177725 (MS16-098: a security update for the Windows Kernel-Mode drivers: 9 August 2016) before you run Windows Update to install your remaining August 2016 Patch Tuesday updates.  List of Dalai will probably be revised tonight next Tuesday when the September 2016 Patch Tuesday updates (and a new version of Win32K.sys) are released on 13-Sep-2016, then you might want to wait a few days to try this workaround.

Dalai has posted general information at http://wu.krelay.de/en/info.htm which explains why the Windows Update Agent (WUA) is currently suspended during the "checking for updates..." Windows Update.  The current v7.6.7600.256 Vista, C:\Windows\system32\wuaueng.dll WUA has not been updated by Microsoft since June 2012.

  • Laptop MSi S6000 Windows 7 (64-bit) wireless problem. Wireless turns off after fashion "Eve" and unable to understand how to change the settings.

I own a notebook computer MSi S6000 Windows 7 (64-bit). My problem is that any time that my laptop's sleep mode (when I close the lid or after inactivity) wireless connection is cut off the coast and in some cases the wireless card is cut. I end up turning on the wireless card with the

Function key F8 and then have to reconnect with my wireless network.

After "standby" mode, I have to reconnect to the wireless network (without turning on the map).

    ---

I have tried a number of measures to address this problem including uncheck the button 'turn off this device to save power' in the properties and made sure that my laptop ALWAYS connects to the network by making the #1 on the priority list and checking the connection to this network even when it is not being broadcast.

Yet I still couldn't remedy this solution.

Please help if you can. I appreciate your time in advance... happy new 2011!

  • My KEY will not work for both windows 7 32-bit update and 64-bit version?

I have two, a copy and a key for the upgrade to Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit.  (Key separately for each version, purchased about 6 months apart.)

The computer that is running the 32-bit version had a hard drive failure.   After replacing the hard drive, I decided to install 64-bit on this computer using the key provided with the 32-bit version.

I was led to believe that the key is not related to the 64 or 32 bit version and that it could be used for both, but only installed at the moment.

After getting to step to enter the key, using the key provided with the 32-bit version, he couldn't say invalid key.  After several attempts and checking of typo, it's a no go.

So, I went and started around and installed the 32 bit version and the key worked fine.

So the key provided with the 32-bit version of 'upgrade' tied to only this version?  Every search I do, says that you can use the key for 32 or 64 bit.  They never mention the version "upgrade" is different from the "full" version

    Thanks for any info,

    SDM

Because it is an upgrade version.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

So using phone activation is the work around:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  • 650 HP laptop Windows 7 64-bit boot problem after installation of the graphics driver

I bought the HP 650 laptop which came with Suse Linux.

I installed 64-bit Windows and tried to install the corresponding graphics driver:

High definition (HD) of Intel Graphics Driver

as indicated in the list of drivers for Windows 64-bit here:

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=5225013&...

After installing the driver asked me to restart the computer and after the reboot, boot, Windows boot after displaying the Windows logo on black background the computer restarts again before you boot into Windows.

After this crash to start a startup repair is suggested and I can complete the restore of the system that allows me to connect to Windows but I have not installed display drivers and things like Aero do not work.

I tried several times and re - install drivers and had the same problem after each attempt.

    Help, please.

It's quite a few updates failed.  This can be linked to the issue, but we don't know really until the update problem is resolved.

Read this document to Microsoft as it addresses this particular error.  It also has various tools to try in case the first option does not correct the problem.

You can also try the Windows Update troubleshooting utility included in Windows 7.

Go to start > Control Panel > find and solve the problems under system and security > fixed problems with Windows Update under system and security.

    Let me know what happens.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium update problems

    Dears Helpers

About 6 months ago I bought a Samsung series 7 times. It came with windows 7 Home Premium.  When I bought the laptop, the seller told me that Windows has come with the ability to reformat itself in windows 7 again.

The time has come to do and I checked out, but it turns outt hat it was only Samsungs Sste recovery. He had done an image and revenue to whom. Ok.

After doing this, I went to the windows update, but it will not work. It just stays at the helm of 'Check updates' and after a long so that it says that it cannot be updated.

Through the windows, I managed to download the "update Windows diagnosis", and having run it he managed to solve some of the problems that we found. I tried several times since then to update the windows but get the same problem again. Keep hecking for updates, it doesn't do anything.

Could someone help me please. Normally I would just leave, but I would like to have updated and also because I recently bought a program that requires the .NET Framework Client Profile to run. The program itself provides the instalation but it will not be installed. I downloaded on the windows site, the .NET Framework Client Profile to try and install them separately, but that no longer works.

Did I miss something or something goes wrong?

I would be very happy for any help on this matter.
