  you go to the website of the manufacturer of your printer and download the latest drivers for Windows 7. Sometimes, if you use a driver that is not intended for your operating system, then your device can operate and install, but some features may not work.

  If they do not have an updated driver, then try the compatibility mode for Windows XP and see if your printer will work correctly.
  The information below will show you how you can make older programs run on Windows 7 here.

• Try to return to first 2014, creative cloud not giving this option

  I've just updated first in 2015.3 and now cannot open projects that were created in the 2015 first version.

  I'm working to get back to the original version of 2015 or even better 2014 if possible.

  I know that this can be done through creative cloud manager in my toolbar and simply go down to "Find additional Apps" and click on the "filters & tab Versions" and you should be able to see the previous Version tab where you can download older versions.  However, I am not given this option.  Here is a screenshot of the options it is for me, and how deadly is not an option.

• Transfer of Windows not giving an option to transfer files from Windows.old to my desired location

  I installed Win7 on my computer by using 'Custom Installation', as I was advised to do.  The data from my old hard drive was stored on drive C under the name of the folder "Windows-old".

  I have problems using Windows easy transfer.  It does not give me the option to transfer files from a folder on the C drive in places where I can use it for example. Word (I installed Office 2013 Home Premium).
  I copied the entire "My Documents" to a flash drive, but cannot transfer data from there either.
  I also installed Windows Live Mail.  I can receive and send emails, but can not access my old address book/contacts list.

• HP 350 G1: 8.1 Windows OEM Activation not working anymore?

  After asking here on the forum about the restore a deleted partition, what issue has been resolved. We are facing another problem.

  My sister has recently infected laptop computer at a point, it has become UNUSABLE! Kept complete HARD drive, she had more than 400 GB remaining (girl stuff, unlike the guys, they don't download a lot of things); but all of a sudden the drive HARD filled with 400GO remaining at 5 GB

  And... the computer is VERY SLOW at the beginning, it used to take a few seconds to start, but it took almost 5 minutes to start when it has been infected. We tried many antivirus software, the laptop came with a preinstalled (can't remember which), beside that, we tried other software Antivirus, Avast, Kaspersky, Eset and Avira.

  Most of them don't have a scan of C: / drive with an error message such as "unable to scan the c drive".

  Our best option was to reinsert the system.

  I first backep keys of Activation OEM (supposed to be encrypted in the BIOS). I found useful tutorials online which allowed me to show how activation key is beinf used, so I just copied it in a safe place, just in case something goes wrong. I didn't not use a third-party software to view the key! Just Windows tools. A third-party application can not be VERY trustfull in terms of license keys.

  I then downloaded a genuine 8.1 Windows Pro MSDN Web site with a product key.

  The installation went without problems, but when I rebooted I noticed that Windows has not been activated!

  I tried to use the saved key more early, unfortunately it does not work, windows said I can't use this key with this edition of windows.

  

  My questions are:

  -Can someone tell me WHY I can't use OEM Activation on any edition of windows?

  -Is it possible to make it work on all editions anyway?

  -A complete reinstallation of version 8.1 of Windows non-Pro is automatically enabled by the BIOS?

  -If I buy an activation key for windows pro 8.1, this key somehow will interfere with that in the BIOS?

• Windows XP does not, no other Options!

  Hi, I have Windows XP SP2. A few days ago, I uninstalled Windows 7 Transformation Pack, something I installed myself into the file system, because it made the computer too slow for me. It is then things went wrong. When I rebooted, I got an error saying explorer.exe was missing iertutil.dll. I thought that the stupid transformation pack corrupted it. I couldn't see the icons, the taskbar or anything like that. I could get Firefox via the Task Manager, however. I tried to install from the CD, but I got an error that the version of Windows was older than the one currently installed. Then. I tried to uninstall the service pack, but got an error again. I tried to setup Internet Explorer, but still had an error. I can't afford a new OS, and I can't lose my data (programs, drivers, Documents, etc.). Please, someone help, I'm at my wits end!

• Windows 7 product activation is not afford phone activation feature!

  I have a Dell Vostro 1510 which has had a hard drive failure. Initially, it had Vista. The drive replaced and installed Windows 7 Home Premium. I tried Activator product - used an original Dell Windows 7 Home Premium DVD 32 bits; -It came with a sort of "evaluation doesn't have a license" message - error 0xC004E003 code. Tried to use telephone activation, but this option is not given in the form of phone activation. He suggested that I call Dell - the product is out of warranty, so they won't do anything without recharging. Is a Microsoft software that can be installed/run that will present a window of activation of correct phone with all the options, including the generated codes?  -These systems are also also missing from the activation of phone screen Dell.

  Looks like you may be using an OEM SLP key which can be operated by normal means.

  To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

  Once downloaded, run the tool.

  Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.

  Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message.

  I just had to replace the hard drive on this laptop, so had to do a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit. Windows online activation does not work, and it is not giving me the option to phone activation process.

  Hi, my computer (Acer) is preinstalled. After a blue error screen all I could do is a total reinstall using the windows system installation from a hidden partition recovery

  Since I did this he keeps complaining about my windows is not not authentic. Also at the start, it tries to install a service pack, defective, then deletes again.

  The product key that is different from that on the sticker is that the OEM SLP used at the factory. Its used to install Windows 7 in volume through several models of the same system.

  To change the product key to the one on the COA sticker, try the following:

  Click Start, type: CMD

  Right-click on CMD

  Click on run as administrator

  At the command prompt, type the following commands:

  slmgr.vbs - ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (to replace the specified in the current product key)

  xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx - represents your product key

  Press enter on your keyboard

  Leave the command prompt

  Restart your computer

  My phone fell, and I can not get Windows to start.  The repair option will not work. I tried to use an upgrade disc, but the 'upgrade' function has been disabled. It says I have to do it from the office, to which I can not access. The repair disk feature did not work either. Is it possible to restore the system without losing my files?

  If you use a 32 bit Vista copy then any upgrade must be run from the Vista desktop.
