Solved my problem with Aeor lag.

Reinstall Windows 7 U64 twice with the new/old driver.
Replaced Gforce 8800GTX with Gforce GTX480.
Spent several days on this problem without solution.

But here's a very simple solution that works for me.

I removed the USB extension cablefor my CreativeHS - 1200WirelessUSB Gaming Headset.

Aero lags when extension Iused USB and headphone load.
Without extension USB cable, all right.

So he thinks it's a USB extension cable voltagedrop, forces the system to lag. ?

Hello, I have a very strange problem with sound when video games! When the video plays, the sound stops every 5 seconds...  My OS is Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I have also two operating system Windows XP 32-bit, and 32-bit Windows Vista. Under XP it is the same problem, but Vista doesn't. PLEASE, I BEG YOU! I really want a solution for Windows 7. It is very annoying, the sound stops every 5 sec. In gameplay, the sound is not good, but in the videos... Thanks in advance!

    Hackerspy,
You must keep checking with the manufacturer of chipset of the sound card for the updated drivers.  Regarding codecs, I personally used the K-lite Codec pack.  I have all the others have not yet used but only found a reliable being.  You can Bing for Codec packs, but be careful when you download from. • Choppy/Jerky video streaming in Windows Vista

We have Windows Vista and find that more often than not, streaming video is choppy and are not smooth.  This happens with almost anything that has movement - even the bubbles screensaver.  Also when I look and sports.  We know that some things are in HD and cause do because we don't have HD.  But it happens that even when we turn off the HD if that's an option as well as when it is not in HD.  We can do to make it smooth?

  • Choppy video playback in Windows Media Center (Windows 7) WTV

I recently experienced a video playback jerky with windows media center.  Sometimes the recorded TV (WTV format) play very well for about 2-3 minutes until the video playback is very jerky (probably about 5 to 10 frames per second instead of the usual 30-60 fps).  The audio is not again normally.  Windows Movie maker also plays choppy video (Windows Media Player seems to work very well).  The main menu of Windows Media Center, itself becomes generally restless slow when I'm scrolling autour options, even when there is no video game in the background.  Video streaming on the Internet and DVD seems to play fine on Windows Media Center, and I can even stream HD video without problem.  I also know that this isn't a problem receiving the TV tuner since I test with the video recorded previously.  I bought my computer in June 2009 with Windows Vista and upgrade to Windows 7 a few months later.  Everything worked perfectly well until recently.

I tried to update my video card drivers, reallocation of Windows Media Center to a task of "high priority" to improve performance, the RAM Cache to improve the performance, my graphics card setting to low quality setting to have superior performance to compensation.  I even tried to reinstall Windows Media Center, reinstall Windows Media Player and the restoration of my entire computer to a State a few months in the past where the problem was not intervened.  The memory usage seems OK too (I have 6 GB).  Basically, I don't think that the issue is performance related.  I'm guessing that there is some little conflict, pilot program, codec, etc., which is originally the video playback to go bad after a few minutes.  Any thoughts?

  • Windows 7 64 bit, new facility - choppy video playback

I have a quad core Intel I7 HP laptop with 8 GB of RAM, 160 GB of free disk space. ATI Radeon 5600HD graphics card, the latest video drivers ATI, all updates for HP laptop, including the BIOS. The machine should be able to play videos and do a Skype video chat. But in both cases, the video is choppy and not really usable.

I've been to all updates installed, SP1 for Windows 7, the software I use, etc, etc, etc, so I can't go back to previous restore points, at least that would make a difference.

I just watched a WMV video that I downloaded (not heard), Channel 9, and it was awful to watch. The video stops but the sound would continue, finally all caught up. But then it would start all over again.

Video of Skype is similar, the video stops but the sound continues.

Given that I have the latest video drivers from ATI, and everything else comes from a new facility from 2 days ago. I'd appreciate any help to solve this problem.

    Thank you

All companies (Dell, HP, Acer, Toshiba etc.) put things on their systems.

Most of them pre-install programs such as Mcafee or Symantec / Norton. Both are hopeless and cause probs

And most likely have some sort of trial version. What is the point of having this. It runs

This is one of the reasons why I build my own desktop computers. I can put what I want on this subject, NOT what they think I need.

No wonder so many of them have probs. It's the stuff they install on it.

  • video choppy when CLA was overthrown around 13 Lenovo's Yoga with windows 8.1

Since the update to Windows 8.1 when I watch videos if it is a local video or streaming from YouTube, the video is jerky extremelly when the keyboard is reversed around.

I read something on stop the runswusb service, but I can't find it anywhere.

    How can I solve this?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. I disabled DPTF in the BIOS (press the Novo pen when the PC is turned off). Which disables the thermal management of aggressive Intel who clocks the descent of processor when you fold the keyboard. It is not necessary, I watched two movies on netflix in a row with no real noticeable heating, after that and the following changes.

    2. turn off the Lenovo Transition to starting on the Task Manager or uninstall it. He chews CPU to mark for a dock that does not cling to the Yoga.

3 turn off yogaserver.exe in the Task Manager.

    4. keep the Lenovo Energy Management installed.

I increased the battery, video stringers in tablet mode and without apparent loss of usability.

I don't think that runSW.exe has nothing to do with this problem.

  • Dell Latitude 10 ST2: Screen very dark after the Windows Update 8.1 & gameplay of Diablo 2

    Hello community,

I just got a new Latitude 10 ST2, and I really appreciated the help until after that I updated for Windows 8.1 and played some Diablo 2. For some reason, my brightness is now always very low, regardless of whether the Adaptive brightness in my power management setting is enabled or disabled. I can manually change the brightness, but it has very little effect. It seems that the maximum brightness is really low for a reason any.

I don't know if Diablo 2 has nothing to do with this problem, but I though that I would include it here because it uses very outdated graphics techniques that seem not very compatible with Windows 8.1. I had to change the compatibility settings of the game executable for Windows XP Service Pack 2, force them to run with 16-bit colors and also to disable the composition of the bureau. After closing the game, icons on the desktop still seemed a little wide (they looked rather 16-bit color and had some weird artifacts) and I had to restart the tablet to correct. After the reboot of the Tablet, the desktop icons were back to normal, but my light issues began to arrive.

My first attempt at solving this problem was in the shape of the tablet. I used my USB stick that has the factory settings on it to format the Tablet and reinstall Windows 8. The process was a success, and I had no problem of brightness either. However, after the update to Windows 8.1, then by restarting the Tablet, my issue with the brightness came back.

My second attempt was to try to update my drivers. I ran the auto updater provided with the Tablet, and it updated my BIOS. Unfortunately, it has not fixed the problem at all. Then, I took a look in the BIOS and found levels of brightness in the video section. The parameters are the following:

    Brightness on battery: 7
    Brightness of AC: 15

I've tried corresponding to the brightness of the battery at 15, but it has no effect. The light problems don't occur that the Tablet is connected to a power outlet or not, I wasn't really that surprised that it didn't work. A maximum brightness of 15 is normal? (what is a percentage?) I don't want to change these settings without knowing exactly what they represent to avoid damage.

My third attempt has updated the chipset drivers which includes the video driver. I installed the chipset driver and suddenly after that the screen went black a few times during the installation of the brightness has been completely restored and colors looked nice and bright again. However, when I rebooted the Tablet I found that the problems of brightness was back. Very rarely when I restart the Tablet, the brightness is normal again, but it is super rare. A subsequent reboot simply results in brightness problems return immediately.

A few other things worth noting that come with the light problems:
    -All color gradients are not smooth. You can very clearly see the differences in brightness when a picture goes to a light color to a dark like a lot of buttons in Windows 8 start menu. It reminds me a lot of 16-bit color;
-Whenever I try to change the display settings in the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel, nothing happens. No matter how much I fiddle with the brightness, contrast or gamma, nothing changes, even after you apply the settings.
    -Diagnostic in the BIOS tests said that everything is OK;
-The complete diagnosis provided by the PC Dell Diagnostics program showed that each test passed successfully.

I really hope that someone can help me with this problem. The screen is also very dark, it makes it quite difficult to use tablet. Thank you!

    Kind regards

    StevenD91

Thanks for the reply! After much trial and error, I discovered that my graphics driver has been be corrupted by AVG 2014 somehow. After yet another format and reinstall of Windows 8, but without AVG 2014 this time, everything works great! : D

  • Solution for DVD playback choppy on Satellite Pro A100

    Hello!

I had this problem twice on my Toshiba laptop (Satellite Pro A100 bought in April 2006): the DVD used to play very well, but now (perhaps after an update of the driver or installation of software, I not sure what causes this) DVD playback is choppy, distorted sound. This occurs throughout all media players on Windows XP (for example, PowerDVD which came with the laptop) or Windows media player.

I searched the internet far from a solution and finally found how to solve this problem:

Go to Device Manager, select the "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" section, and then select the "second IDE channel", right click and 'uninstall '. (There are two second IDE channels, if you know which then just uninstall both.) Restart Windows XP, Windows XP will automatically reinstall the drivers without the need to download anything. Subsequently the DVD Player reads normally.

The symptoms of the problem, apart from DVD playback choppy, are the "transfer mode" gets stuck on PIO for a reason, and bring back to DMA with no opportunity to spend. I have no idea what software or driver causes this, or why, but if this is your problem too, if you think that this solves.

Cool, thanks for the inquiry and the nice information.
