Windows 7 drivers Acer AO751h unusable in Windows 8 - Metro GUI mess

I am updating our Acer netbooks (ZA3 / AO751h) to Windows 8.

The default Microsoft driver does not recognize the resolution of 1366 x 768. Please add this resolution to the driver of stock.

I tried to install the driver of Windows 7 by Acer in compatibility mode, but it all works in desktop mode it's completely unusable Metro user interface. All icons are turning to high digital noise.

Please correct.

It is not Microsoft to produce a pilot. Intel are primarily responsible for and they spend on the Acer driver who then make himself available.

The Intel GMA 500 will not get taken in charge without Intel do something, and it is unlikely that the GMA 500 seems to be an abandoned product...

Upgrading to Windows 7 from Windows 7 Starter will mess up to my laptop?

You can do an Express upgrade - it's a quick and easy process. All programs and files will remain on the computer, there is no drive necessary and it takes about 10 minutes.

    Express Upgrade purchase

Type of upgrade Express in the box files and research programs in the start menu and click the Windows Anytime Upgrade.  From there, you can buy an upgrade from Starter to a higher version of Windows 7. Then you can enter your Express Upgrade product key and perform a simple upgrade. Online Anytime Upgrade is not available in all countries.

  • Ago 10-15 second delay after you have clicked on a link from any application Windows 8 Metro... before opening the web browser.

Title explains the problem: ago 10-15 second delay after clicking on a link from any application Windows 8 Metro... before opening the web browser.

Any browser (IE, Chrome, etc.). Any application as long as it's a subway app (mail, etc.). If I click on a link to a Web page from any metro Windows 8 app it is 10-15 second delay before its opening.
I tried to repair Windows, disable Windows defender, and a bunch of other things and nothing is set.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thank you!

    Hello

Try to manually configure the DNS servers in the network card settings (guide: http://www.plus.net/support/software/dns/changing-dns-windows-8.shtml).
It fixed the problem for me.
Apparently it has something to do with the reuter incorrectly redirect DNS queries (I use D-Link).
  • Windows 8 Metro apps don't recognize USB 3 g connection (Huawei E1762)

    Hello

I recently installed Windows 8 Pro and uses a 3G (Huawei E1762) USB dongle to access the internet. This connection connects very well using the software on the modem and connection also via Windows using the same way as you would with a dial-up connection. By clicking on the network icon, the connection is indicated under 'Connections' as 'connected '. I can browse the web, download updates Windows etc with no problems.
When I try to use the features of Windows 8 Metro application connectivity (eg. Sign in to Facebook, open weather or new), I get a notification that there is no active internet connection, despite the recognition of the connection status as "Connected" via the network and Windows Sharing Center. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this problem can be solved? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Disable connection sharing fixed this problem for me. Windows key + C > settings > Internet access > right click on the active 3G connection > turn sharing or disable > click on "no, turn on sharing or connect to devices.

  • JavaOne 2012: JavaFX on iOS, Android, and Windows 8 Metro?

Not to mention that of wonderful demos on JavaOne 2012 I'was wondering something big: where's the news from JavaOne on JavaFX (shipped) running on iOS (ready for the AppStore), Android and Windows 8 metro?

The thing is, in an uncertain future on JavaFX being more than a Swing 2.0 (it is already great, but the range of applications, especially is not very large, as noted earlier in this thread), I don't see a real demand for the companies/commercial.

Richard asked examples of business needs for JavaFX mobile... but without a strong backup Oracle for JavaFX to mobile, I don't think that a lot of corporate clients will take risks to invest in JavaFX. It is generally an area where a strong supply creates demand and not the other way around: client companies traditional reluctance will be broken only by a strong movement of Oracle first.

My humble opinion is the following: port JavaFX for Win8, iOS and Android, and you will see global growth in the community of JavaFX, which is in turn to customers and return on investment. But good... Oracle is not less reluctant to take risks by investing first, than any other big corp... That's why I don't see the future so bright for Java on the client. I'd be happy to be disappointed on this one there: Oracle, if please take risks and do not expect demand to come first (we are all here convinced by the potential of JavaFX if given true happiness WORA).

  • Windows 7 lack of drivers acer aspire series m

    Original title:

I recently bought a used acer aspire series m & it came with windows 7 in it. To get acquainted with it I realized that I have a lot of missing drivers!

My question is after discovering that it came stock with windows 8 and not being not not be able to download windows 7 drivers you lack acer site because under the drivers available for my exact model # it offers only windows drivers 8 - WHAT DO I DO? Am I forced to buy windows 8 or I am somehow able to obtain from microsoft or acer?

Just a wild stab here, do you know if the hidden recovery partition is still intact? Well, you can find, turn off your computer. Now, back on the power and as soon as you see the ACER LOGO, press left ALT + F10 keys. If you see the "loading files screen, then you are to reset your computer to factory default settings, but if you do not, the recovery partition has disappeared and you may need to order a set of. ACER recovery disks.

How can I restore my computer using the eRecovery Management program?

Use the following steps for purchasing recovery media.

  • Drivers acer Veriton M275

I bought a used with a hard drive refurbished veriton m275 and not windows. I just loaded windows 7 thanks to a recovery disc that I bought on ebay. has worked well. But I am tired of a USB driver download but they wont open, pc can not find them. The system won't let me extract their download of zip from the Acer site files. any suggestions? Can I try to download the disk? or should I choose option 'open' rather than 'Save' option?  I downloaded them via another computer because of course the recovery disk does not contain the drivers to get on the internet.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Thank you, but I managed to solve it by one of my own suggestions. I downloaded the files on a USB key, then I chose 'open '. This led me to, as you suggested, the downloaded file and in there, it gave me the option to extract. I repeated the process to each driver. When finished I plugged the drive to the target computer. There, I was able to access the file and the file 'install' for each driver. I went to install each driver of each downloaded driver file. I currently do it after completing the updates of win 7 waiting. It seems to be resolved.

Thanks again for the advice. I'll download 7zip or B1.

  • Windows 7 SP1 RC messes up 2 USB drives

I had this problem before and removed the SP1 and it cures the problem, now, after some update, he's back.  I have 6 USB drives on my desktop HPE - 390T.  Two of these drives keep popping up a message "this device can operate more quickly if connected to a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port."  Well, it is a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port.  I checked the drivers and all six USB ports have the same version of the driver.  When you check the Device Manager on these two ports, it has yellow triangle with exclamation point and that is the message by double clicking on "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52) "I tried to update the drivers but it comes back that I have the latest drivers, which as I said, are exactly the same as the other 4 USB ports.

For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

  • Windows 8 metro apps works is not on my HD 1280 x 720 display.

My monitor is resolution 1280 x 720. And I have to set a low resolution 1024 x 768 for metro apps work. It's weird in this resolution. Fix this microsoft. Or is it possible to set a resolution of 1280 x 768 on windows?. The highest resolution I get on windows is 1280 x 720.

The screen resolution you can get will depend on your monitor, your graphics card and drivers of these two devices. Check the specifications of these two devices to see what both are capable of contracting. Update the drivers if necessary (including the graphics card). If possible, then change the resolution to something higher.

If you have a desktop PC, you can always consider upgrading your graphics card. Even the most basic relatively cheap will offer a higher resolution you need. Of course, if the limiting factor is your monitor that would be more expensive.

  • Windows 8 - Metro UI crashes / Office works very well

After turning on my Acer Aspire S3 yesterday, I found the Windows 8 start in mosaic screen start crashed immediately.

Reset, I found that I got about 2 seconds of reaction that it crashed again. Nothing works except the 'Windows' - key, which obviously resets the screen in mosaic... for another 2 seconds before it crashes again.
If I'm quick, I can click on the mosaic of office, which takes me to my desktop interface. It seems to work fine and I can access the files - although, oddly, when I alt - tab there are often two or more icons open... it says "broken desktop", another "scanned image"... even if nothing else is open.
Return to the menu start mosaic, if I sign up quickly in the profile of my wife (before it crashes!), I find that both its menu in mosaic and the desktop interface work perfectly.
What I did for my log-in?
I read on the forums that some users have referred to a "clock App" had been originally some menus in mosaic to crash... but I'm not enough fast to uninstall my application before the tiled menu crashes. Is it possible to uninstall apps from the desktop interface (they do not appear in Control Panel)?
If not, have I accidentally changed something? I use my laptop for very simple things - browsing the web and e-mail. I use it for the thing most complex is remote access to my work desk. Would it could cause a problem (he has worked up until now - I bought the machine in January of this year).
    Can anyone help?

Problem solved... for now at least.  I did the system restore earlier I could do (23/05/2013) and it works again. Ominously, this restoration comes just before a Windows Update, which would suggest that is what has caused the problem in the first place!

A little wary to do the update now... so will hold off for as long as possible!
    Thanks for your help!

  • Skype (Windows 8) metro camera problem

Metro Skype does not pick up my built-in camera, I installed the camera driver and I know it works because Desktop Skype picks it up and I can make video calls. Is this a fault of Skype or a driver problem?

    I have a SL510 and I'm under Windows 8 Pro.

Well, I solved the problem. It is clear that the problem was the driver for the built-in camera which is standard with my machine. I uninstalled the driver, started in safe mode and reinstalled the driver but it seems that windows has decided to install a generic driver camera in place and the camera app is working now and I can video call in Skype Metro.

  • Pavilion G6: Windows Update is a mess...

    Hello

For the last few weeks, Windows Update has become a total mess on my computer.

Just to list the problems I encountered:

1 - Windows Update service consumes too much memory.

2 - when I try to download the updates, the progress at 0%/0kb

3 - I was forced to completely stop the service in the Device Manager, in order to avoid that this a huge memory consumption.

4 after not not downloading updates, the screen displays a message indicating that the configuration updates, before you stop... The same phenomenon occurs when starting upwards.

As suggested by these 4 problems, everything is messed up. I don't know exactly what caused this problem and exactly when it happened... But its something that I just noticed.

Can someone help me please to fix this problem and eventually determine the cause of it?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to run the tool from Microsoft Windows Update hotfix.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/troubleshoot-problems-installing-updates#1TC=Windows-7

I had a big problem with Windows Update (would not download the updates), and after wasting hours trying to solve the problem by using the different suggestions I found (including the fix above tool), the only way I could solve the problem was to back up my files, and then reinstall the operating system.

It takes sometimes more time trying to solve the existing problem, only from scratch with a reset to factory or clean install the operating system.
