Windows 7 'home screen hang up. "

Hello

I have about 200 + workstation with Windows 7 Prof, which are related to the field of 2003. Sometimes, I watch that stops LogonUI to the Welcome screen. The screen Freeze but the mouse still works and blue animated cursor are always around. The problem is totally random, when people connect to the domain. Most of the people business connection to the workstation after hard computer may restart.

I tried to:

·    Use the clean boot

·    remove any group of policemen of the computers organizational unit object

·    turn via the registry "Show login message commented" - I welcome normal screen see the situation of computer and then change the text: wait for the user profile service, applying Group Policy, etc. When the computer hang up logonui.exe stop again at the Welcome screen.

·     to the domain controller and the local security event log I didn't see any event user logon

·    I have analyzed all the computer event logs and found nothing special: / no warnning, error or strange information events.

I want to enable user environment debug when connecting, but it is quite difficult to turn on via gpo on all computers.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium hangs on updated 25 June 1, 2010

Hi I have a PC HP PavilonElite HPE-210Y new I bought on Friday, it is installed with Windows 7 Home Premium.    Friday we put in place, made overall upward and downloaded all the updates without problem. On Saturday, we have installed Adobe CS3, DropBox, Microsoft Security Essentials and Microsoft office 2007 (all legitimate copies).      It worked well through this morning, but at about 07:30 the computer says that it had updates installed (29 to be exact). I clicked on ok and went about my business, but it has since been blocked to update 25 for the last 2 hours, but no progress.   Light on the computer that blinks when the HD is committed has not lit at this time and I'm stuck on the screen that tells you not power off or unplug the machine installation 25 of 29...  I had not changed my power management settings, but after some research, it's seems that there are a few known issues with the processor to wake up for mode 'sleep', no chance that this is part of the problem?   other thoughts of what I can do to fix this?    Thank you

    Hi a drum.

First, restart the computer and check if resumes normally and continues.

Otherwise, start your computer in safe mode, and then perform the system restore .

After restoring the system, wait until you get notification of updates of Windows on the system tray, close all applications before accepting the updates of Windows. Check what is happening.

Windows have to restart Windows updates take effect. Check if it still hangs at the 25th update.

Check the updates that have failed in the history of the update.

    1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.

    2. in the left pane, click view update history.

  • 11-no10dx Pavilion: Pavilion model 11-no10dx to Windows 10 home screen flickers so bad can't do anything.

Was running 8.1 Windows 64 bit on Pavilion 11-n010dx. Graphics driver intel is version 10.18.10.3366. After the upgrade to Windows 10 graphics driver has been 10.18.10.4252. The upgrade was successful, but after connect you and get the home screen, the display flashes severely and permanently and is unusable. After hours of trying I finally was able to get into safe mode and back to Windows 8. 1. now the Intel graphics driver is version 10.18.10.3366 and everything seems to be back to normal. What is the problem and how can I get this machine up to 10 Windows. Is it a driver Intel graphics, problem, or something else. The internet is FULL of people having this problem, but it does not seem to be displayed of all the solutions that I can find. Also, how is the screening of 10 Windows did not find any problems and said the machine was able to be upgraded to Windows 10.

Nevermind I fixed myself. After return to Windows 8.1, I went into the the Task Manager and disabled the option to boot to Norton. Then I Redid the upgrade to Windows 10. Update went fine everything as before and after connection and the home screen came power was fine. I started with Norton and did an update and he succeeded. Then, I went in the Manager of tasks and active start Norton and rebooted. The system has rebooted and everything works fine.

  • Upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium - Message 'unknown error 10 '.

I understand that this has been asked before, but unfortunately many answers are much too technical for me.  I'm a computer user, not a computer expert.

I received the error message following twice today on my PC Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit slot.

I have successfully upgraded to Windows 7 on my laptop with no problems.  He was also relatively fast - today, two attempts with the PC took more than four hours before the update is completed and returned me to the Windows 7 home screen.

The most obvious solution would be to uninstall Windows Live Essentials, as the health check said that this app does not work in Windows 10.  I did not on the laptop, but maybe try it tomorrow.

Anyone could explain the error code if you please, knowing that I'm not the type of computer terminology that was offered as solutions on other items of this type.

I look forward to your responses.

  • Blue screen when you try to install Windows XP Home Edition on Satellite L350D-11 has

    Hello
When I try to install Windows XP Home (including SP3) on my new L350D-11 has a blue screen after loading the drivers.
When booting with Kubuntu Live CD (8.x) appears an error message: / sbin/modprobe out anomalous.

At least I need Windows XP because of some programs that do not work under Vista. Is it possible to install XP?

    Hello

Hmm I think the BSOD appears because you didn t add SATA drivers in the Win XP operating system.

However, you can try to install Win XP on your laptop without the use of the SATA driver, but you can change the SATA AHCI in the BIOS in compatible mode.

    Check it out!

One of the problems causing my crashes Crysis DX10 was a bad stick of RAM. I had to test each stick individually with MEMTEST86.
The first time all the sticks passed but after continuing crashes, I retested and found a bad stick. Another thing I noticed was that many accidents have occurred when my clumsy fingers were depressing too many keys at the same time. Crysis has a lot of problems even with the newest and the best material of today but still lots of fun when it works.
  • KB2296011 causes the blank screen in Windows Vista Home Premium?

I'm troubleshooting an issue with an installation of Windows Vista Home Premium on a laptop. After Tuesday October 12 updates, the laptop goes to a blue screen after authentication with any account. There is a mobile cursor mouse, but nothing else. C/a. gives the menu, but "Start Task Manager" has no effect, restart will only work.

I am able to login normally mode without failure. Remove the update KB2296011 removes the problem, I narrowed down it to only this update. It is now necessary to restart and use system restore to go back before this particular update to access Windows.

I did the following to troubleshoot:

    (1) I tried to install the system update tool, which had no effect.

    (2) I tried to install the KB2296011 update manually after downloading, the problem returns after installing.

    (3) I tried to install the KB2296011 update manually mode without failure by another post here, but this is not possible, which gives the following error: "Windows Update Standalone Installer: Installer encountered an error: 0x8007043c.»  This service cannot be started in Mode safe. »

It seems up to present have no way to obtain this update to install without the origin of the white screen issue. Please advice, thank you.

OK, it looks like at this will be my last post.

This technician seems to address the issue much differently from the rest. After the things we have done in my previous post, he seems convinced that the problem occurs when this security update is installed, it thinks it's UAC which is damaged, and possibly other files. If its resolution suggested the problem is to run a repair on Vista installation, in order to repair potentially damaged or corrupted files. This would correspond well with hijackware theory posted earlier, too.

It seems door by another symptom not reported to me or noticed until now. With or without UAC enabled, standard users cannot connect. It passes the connection, in the preparation of your office for a disconnection. Administrative users can connect very well. As the primary user of the machine is an administrator (of course!), this was not noticed until I created a Standard user to test and found this problem.

I hope than a repair installation (or even better, an upgrade, as I prefer to simply wipe the HD and start over) will solve the problem. The machine has 2 GB of RAM and a 2 GHz dual core chip, so I think it can handle very well (my wife does mobile) Win7.

I hope that all of this novel, we have written here will help others as well.

  • Window remains white screen after starting windows screen. the system hangs after Mup.sys on safe mode

The title pretty much everything said.

The problem occurred on a fault that Dell Vostro 2510 with the additional option should only do the downgrade of Win Xp (from Vista).  As noted, on normal startup, the system will remain in a blank screen after the Windows Xp "loading" screen.  And on safe mode, it will join Mup.sys and then hang there.

The closest thing that I got from a web search was a thread in forum saying that the official info from Microsoft was that it was a question of Win Xp/motherboard (http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/31874/?o=40 halfway to a post by Bobb Fwed).  The poster provided no link, so I don't know how official his info was really.

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?

    Hi KevinRy,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    Unplug all external devices.

Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:

    1.

Right-click my computerand then click Properties.

    2.

    Click the Advanced tab.

    3.

Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.

    4.

Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.

    5.

Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.

Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.

Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.

    Kind regards
