Windows 7: I hate it. =(

On my last laptop was a premature end, I replaced it with the same model. The only upside was that he had an updated operating system up-to-date. Spiffy. However, once I have a crack for windows 7, I was impressed. I had a tandy as a kid. a TANDY. do you know how effing OLD it is? srsly. And I could change the CONTEXT on it. No problem. Since the dawn of time, you can customize your pc in the dumbest ways, ways you never thought would change, simple pleasures. However, Windows 7 seems to hit one out of the Park, when they won the most fundamental characteristics and ruined my day. Now I have this netbook pretty purple glittery and do watch some experience queer, because no matter what tutorial I have to try to understand what I am doing wrong, he says: go to the Control Panel, type in Customizing. When I do, it does not show as an option. I tried themes, my laptop has apparently not themes. you took all my joy, Windows. Thank you for making my life all that much more sad and boring and thank you to make the most boring background in the history of humanity.

Hello

you have the Windows 7 Starter Edition, which provides that the fundamental principles. If you want more, upgrade to the Home Premium edition, or use this tool to change the background:

  • Windows 7 hates my HP LaserJet 1200

Windows 7 really hate my HP LaserJet 1200 USB.  Windows 7 is supposed to have built-in support for LaserJet 1200.  Windows 7 says the built-in driver is not the suitable driver for my device and it will not let filled manually install a driver, even if I could get one.  Any ideas on how to successfully install a printer HP LaserJet 1200 on Windows 7?

  • How to make Thunderbird out of 10 Windows on the desktop homepage

My wife just upgraded to Windows 10 and Foxfire, and Thunderbird are absent from the Office home page. We rely on Thunderbird to our email, and I have no idea how to get the Thunderbird account on her computer now. He is hidden somewhere in this new Windows OS (I hate that already!)? Or do I have to go through the entire download and installation and configuration both programs all over again? My wife did not have backups of windows 7 as she should have, so it is not nothing saved which is useful for this purpose. What should I do BEFORE starting the process of upgrade on my PC (which I use now) or my laptop, which continue to run Windows 7? 75 I'm tired of all the current evolving, which none did calculation easier or faster, just more difficult. Give me Windows 98SE - was by far the easiest to use and easy to reinstall and not lose anything.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Changes with the upgrade to Windows 10 depends on the base of Windows. If you have Windows 7/8/8.1, all your programs and files reside.

For your wife's computer, maybe it's just that the shortcuts on the desktop were removed, but Firefox and Thunderbird are still installed. To check this, open Windows Explorer and access the C:\Program Files (x 86)folder. You can find"Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird folder.

For your computer, if you want to be more careful, take a look at this support article: back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.

  • Satellite C55-A-1R8 - lack of 64-bit Windows 7 drivers

Hi everyone, I need your help guys.
I just bought my new Satellite C55-A-1R8, computer PSCJEE laptop with windows that I hate windows preinstalled to 8.1 and intel cpu onboard, but because n3520 8 I decided to downgrade to the thought of 64-bit windows 7 I'll find all the drivers, but the problem is that there is no driver win 7 for this model of support and I think that I already tried all the others without success.
My usb ports does not work and I can't find the drivers, windows cannot do either.

    My missing drivers:

    Enthernet controller
    PCI encryption/decryption controller
    USB universal serial bus controller
    unknown device (properties said on processor Intel (r) Pentium (r) N and J-series / processor Intel (r) Celeron (r) N - and)

also my bluetooth driver seems to be ok, but I'm not able to install any software of Toshiba bluetooth for win 7.

If somehow I could sort my usb ports would be perfect.

Guys you have ideas where good drivers?

    Thanks in advance!

At first, I must say Hat I just hope that you have created recovery DVD or USB until you started with OS downgrade. Problem is that now after the new operating system installation you will not be able to start the installation of HARD drive recovery image and one day if you want to have the factory settings you can have a big problem.

In any case, I m wondering really you have installed before Win7, check if this older OS is supported or not. You can try now is to install the Win7 drivers available for other models of laptops.
    Try please install follow rivers:
Chipset Intel HM70 River (should help with USB ports)
I put t know for sure if this wll help but try to install please follow drivers LAN and BT:
    Atheros LAN driver LAN
Driver package Bluetooth Filter filter BT
    Bluetooth stack

    Please test and send feedback.

  • 17 - e110dx to downgrade to Windows 7

Latest news is that HP sells laptops with Windows 7 instead of Windows 8.  I bought a new laptop in December with Windows 8 and hate it and want to upgrade to Windows 7.  Y at - it an option to get there?  Do I need to buy Windows 7 on my own and, if so, I will be able to install all the necessary drivers on this laptop (17-e110dx) to make things work?

    Hello:

If you want to install W7 on your laptop, you need to purchase a full retail or the OEM version of W7 64-bit.

HP has no Windows 7 drivers for your model.

You need to get them professional laptops from HP with similar equipment and the site Web of AMD (chipset and graphics).

I have no idea where to start and this site everything is confusing, so I'll just post my problem and hope someone answers.  I bought a new Dell Inspiron Ultrabook 14 "last year and am just opening upward to to use.  Originally, it came with Windows 7 Home Premium.  I thought it was the original software because that's what I asked and they told me came with it.  This is what was on it when I got it.  In any case, I discovered that the original was installed software Windows 8.  When I had to restore it to zero, so I contacted Dell for the original installation software.  Now I have a new installation of Windows 8 and hate it, don't want it, and my main programs do not work with it.  So I need to go back to Windows 7 Home Premium.  What version of Windows 7 Home Premium can I buy to get the correct installation CD?  I don't want a download.  I want a real CD with the software on it.  I have 64 bit system, and everything is now about this is a new installation of Windows 8.  What is the number of real software for the version that I need to get?  I GFC-00019, but want to confirm that it is correct before buy you.  I'm quite familiar with computers, and I think I can do a facility to decommission this NOTE from the ADMIN: profanity removed according to the TOU > Windows 8 and get out of my face, she doesn't want to buy the wrong version.  Thanks for any help.

  • I have windows haveremoving 10 to return to the original

comes to be upgraded to windows 10 I hate, how to return to my earlier version of windows without losing my data

I do not recommend back because I've seen too many reversions fool you.
Returning can be done only if you have installed in the past 30 days (if you created a new user, you should remove it before come back you)

Back on the settings > update & security > Recovery > roll back to a previous operating system

This will only work if the windows.old and 2 hidden folders ($Windows. ~ WS & Windows $. ~ BT) are still present.  If you do that you will need to re - install.

  • Windows 7 is hard to use and not easy to use

    I hate windows 7

Windows 7 - I hate that I want to use xp - but this * system is so hard to use, I can't change that - just look at what all these people say - if she so fine, so why all complaints.

It is not easy to use, it is not easy to change settings and he wants to watch a file whenever I use it b/c it can not read! what the devil who is all about. I teach and have thousands of files that I don't have time to waste on this. It also wont let me load several programs that I use a lot-just try to disable security to get things loaded is a joke - I still yet get adobe contribute here, b/c, it will allow him to finish loading. It seems to also have this crazy zoom deserving, I can not turn off, do not say to go to the control panel and mouse/touch pad b/c who don't work-i spent countless hours trying just to get this feature disabled.

7 can be friendly, your business and the people who sell and the reapir this system, b/c he puts money in their pockets. but for most everyday users, this thing is a pain. I'm seriously thinking of send the computer back whole and get an Apple.

Thanks to all the answers - although some of you thought that I was not specific enough - none of your solutions worked either--it's like buying a car and then find out it does not work when it's rainy, I have files I want and need to use every day and that way just takes too much time!-solution all computer will come back!

Please, go to the Macintosh platform.  I don't know who will help you...
(* tries to keep a straight face *)

Better yet, go to Ubuntu.  Surely you can easily learn that with your "Go Getter" attitude!
(* more difficult and more difficult to keep a straight face *)

-You really cela.  Just keep running Windows _ (fill in the blank with that that you have as / got used to / won't change of).  I'm sure all the other hardware and software suppliers will continue to support any product you want to use in this legacy operating system - even though it's brand-new.
    ( * No, I can do.  Hold together... *)

Seriously - I don't know what you were hoping to accomplish with your post in a peer-to-peer forum.  Threatening to go to another OS platform just after you said, 'I don't want to get used to it?  Guess what happens when you go to a completely new platform.  "Get used to it" or "report again".  And these other platforms - Yes, they are going to change so IMPORTANT with new versions too.  Sometimes for the better (according to you) and sometimes for the worse (in your opinion).

Things change everywhere.  You don't have to it (not everyone) and you are welcome to try and get it changed / change it to where you like it - but no matter what - things will continue to change around you.

Windows 7 (and soon enough, the next version of Windows and so on down the line - or in the BONE of you choice here) has been and things wrinkled around her, change.  Other suppliers began to do things which * has * worked on this version (now) and can work on the next version.  Some of these suppliers are probably products you use and that you may want the next revision- but if you pass the platforms/stay with the old platform because you don't want to try to "make it yours" and learn new ways of doing things - you will be left out.  You'll probably complain to suppliers (or as many do, complain back from the operating system manufacturer - as they * control * what other companies are doing in terms of offering support for their products.)

I use Windows, I use * nix and I use Macintosh.  If you already do all the three too - then deleting your life maybe not a problem.  Go ahead.  Just offering you should THINK of everything before you decide to take a more drastic measure that might be necessary.

  • Cannot print the financial dashboard on message of 64 bit windows 7 host computer driver print for 32 bit applications has stopped working

Original title: Windows 7 print driver host for 32 bit applications has stopped working

    Hello

In my company, we have a Windows 7 (Professional 64 - bit) computer with installed on financial Edge(32-bit). We have been able to print from this fine machine, but recently we changed a printer of Conan for a Dell 2150cn Color Laser Printer (64-bit driver). Now, when we try to print from financial dashboard, we get the following error:
Host of the print driver for 32 bit applications has stopped working

    Problem event name: APPCRASH

    Application name: splwow64.exe

The printer is not a network printer, it is physically connected to the machine. In addition, it seems to print very well, if we are not trying to print from financial dashboard. Unfortunitly, once we try to print from financial dashboard, we cannot print from something else. In addition, financial dashboard can sometimes print (this is rare). I uninstalled and reinstalled, using the drivers that came with the CD (tried to download through the Dell website, but Windows seems to hate this driver)

    Hi IToccrra,

    1. the computer is in a domain environment?

    2. who is the provider of the financial advantage program you're talking about?

Method 1: Try to print in clean boot

    See the following site:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

Note: to set the computer back to start normally, use the step 7 in the same link.

Method 2: Run the printer Troubleshooter

    See the following site:

    Open the printer Troubleshooter

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Printer-troubleshooter.

Method 3: update the printer driver

    See the following site:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly.

The details of the error are telling us that the accident occurred when the host of the 32-bit printer driver tries to use the printer. Apparently, you are trying to print from is a 32-bit program, and is not able to use 64-bit print drivers correctly. I would also ask that you contact the vendor of the software (from when you try to print) to check the issue.
