  This has popped up for a week or two and I don't know what to do anymore. I have too much software installed and configured and too many files to erase it and start all over again.  Already run antivirus and Malwarebytes scan and clean the p.u.p.; nothing major stood out.  The system shows under license.  I deleted the key and readmitted with the sticker on the pc and managed to activate by phone, then a few days later the popup began.   Did you of recent changes made to your computer installed as new hardware or software?

  Did you install some registry cleaners? It can be a factor when Windows reports its not genuine, if you need to uninstall it.

  In your new question, it might be advisable to use activation by telephone.  You can get the number to use by typing slui 4 [not only slui] in your search box of the start menu.

  There might be a technical problem that needs fixing first, so you could wait and the advice.  There are problems in other parts of the system that can destroy havoc of activation as having a substantially incorrect clock time.

  It is normally the result of one or more corrupted files 'Activation' of Windows or a problem with the BIOS of the computer.   If I have IE9 open before clicking on the link Windows Mail, everything works as it should.  This problem occurs only if IE9 is not displayed when the user clicks on the link Windows Mail.
