Windows 7 .iso files

READ EVERYTHING BEFORE COMMENTING. I DON'T NEED TO BE TOLD * I ALREADY KNOW.
Thank you.

It would be nice to have the light made on how I'm supposed to get my hands on some support of Windows 7 Installation to reinstall windows.

Thus, even after the time I've spent on this site, I have nothing to help me. My laptop is running as *, so I thought I would like to reset. Here's how I did:

Went to control panel, System Restore.

-> Tells Me that I need support to Windows Setup

Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download and https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7

-> Key double and triple checked, he was right. None worked. Error, said that it was not supported or some *.

Additional information:

No, I don't have the original restore disks, had this PC through 4 moves and it simply disappeared somewhere in the line.

Yes, I use a Windows key on a sticker on my laptop under the battery.

No, I didn't buy this Windows key, it is on the laptop that I tried to reset.

No, there isn't an option to reset other than a reinstall of Windows.

Dell Inspiron Laptop. Don't know how old or what model.

You can use the Dell Factory Image Restore procedure described in the manual of the computer [whose a copy can be downloaded from their support site].

Or you could buy a disc of resettlement - reinstallation DVD now stock Amazon for just a quid [the link is for their UK site site American stocks also to them].  These seem to be exactly what they claim they do not have a product key and that they are specifically described as being for reassembly only - in other words, they are not an attempt to distribute pirated Windows.  They can be used for resettlement and they can do everything a system repair disc can do, so you'll not need to a separately.

    Original title: upgrade Windows 10

I made an iso file for windows 10. I am waiting to upgrade until all the bugs are being developed. My question is: will the iso file of windows 10 still work to upgrade my computer to windows 7 after the date limit to install the free version?

The ISO will work after the date limit, but you can buy Windows 10 after the date limit, if you don't improve and activate it before that date.

Windows 10 is delivered as a service:

    Windows July 10 release - build 10240

    Windows Update 10 November - build 10586 (with many updates depuis.13,.29,. 36)

If you want to take advantage of the free offer, you must do so before July 29, 2016.

If you the newer versions are released before then, you can always download and install when it becomes available.

You could also install it now then download updates via Windows Update as soon as they are available.

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).
  • Windows XP ISO file

    Hello

My problem is that I have an old computer and Windows XP on it but was infected by a virus and I use Windows 7 trial now, I have a license of Windows XP Pro SP3, but do not have the ISO file. So, I couldn't find any page download for XP. And I read somewhere that legal copies of XP is not found on the internet.
Is it true or is it possible to download a legal ISO file? Please I need the ISO file

    Thanks in advance.

There is no legal ISO download for XP.

Illegal downloads can be "doctored" or otherwise defective and should be avoided.

Iso file of windows xp can directly be installed USB on a formatted hard drive?

    Not directly.

There is a SMALL chance that if your hardware supports it (unfortunately never say you anything on your PC or BIOS), you can boot from a USB stick or an optical drive and install Windows XP like this.
    But it is unlikely.
In addition, tell us what you mean by 'windows xp iso file. This is very vague, and we do not know what you are talking about.

  • Windows 7 ISO has only 32-bit, 64-bit version

I bought Windows 7 Professional earlier this year.  ISO I downloaed (backup DVD of NO) has only the 32-bit version on it.  I can install Windows 7 Professional 64-bit?

Download Windows 7 Professional 32-bit or 64-bit. ISO and follow the instructions below to create your own installation DVD. You will always use the product key that you got, but the DVD will be created from the. ISO file that you download.

    32-bit Digital River: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65804/X15-65804.iso
    64-bit Digital River: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65805/X15-65805.iso

Check it. Downloaded ISO file is not corrupted:
Download and install of SlavaSoft HashCalc
    HASH, CRC, AND HMAC CALCULATOR
    http://www.SlavaSoft.com/HashCalc/index.htm

For Windows. ISO file just place checkmarks in the boxes of SHA1 and CRC32. In the main window of HashCalc "data format" box located in the top left corner should be set to "file".

In the 'Data' field, click on the... located at the top right and then click 'Cancel' If you get a "Insert disk" window pop up. After clicking cancle, you should see a window 'find '. This allows you to navigate to the folder where your. ISO file is stored and click on the file. You should now see the. ISO file that you clicked on listed in the box 'File name' located at the bottom of the "Find" window Now click on the button 'open '. The data field should now show the path of the directory/folder and the name of the. You have selected the ISO file.

With only the SHA1 and CRC32 checkboxes are checked (do not place check marks in all the other boxes as this can slow the time it take to calculate values) click on the 'Calculate' button at the bottom of the main window of HashCalc.

It will take anywhere from 30-60 seconds for the calculation and the SHA1 and CRC32 data values to display.

These values are not case sensitive, so a lower case 'a' is the same as a capital letter "A" to the extent where results are concerned. However, they must match those I posted below.

  • Where to find the correct SHA1 checksum for the upgrade Pro Windows 8 ISO?

I ordered the Windows 8 Pro upgrade online.  (not a preview but the new product on 26/10/12).  I downloaded and burned the ISO of the English version of the Windows 8 ISO file.  I'm assuming that 64-bit. This took place without incident.  I started the upgrade on a PC running Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, but it failed during the installation phase of Windows 8 to 72% with the error "installing Windows 8 failed".

So I restarted the upgrade and it has not exactly in the same place (72%) and the same cryptic error.
So I contacted the Microsoft Store and they helped me to go through the process of downloading a 2nd time.  The 2nd ISO file was exactly the same size, BUT it had a different SHA1 checksum!
Then I tried the upgrade using the new DVD burned in the 2nd ISO file and it failed at exactly at the same stage of the upgrade (72%).
So I got two corrupt downloads / Burns?   I have no way to tell because all I know is that they have different amounts of control.
Maybe they all are both wrong, or maybe the question is something else entirely.
But first things first.   How can I determine if my ISO file is correct?
What is the checksum SHA1 of a non-corrupt ISO file?    Where to find the information online?

I have the same problem with my 64-bit windows English version.

I created a bootable DVD from iso and started to install a clean install by formatting the hard drive.
Installation will be stuck at 17% and it happened to me like 3 times and I burned a fresh DVD and always the same question.
It's like the worst level ever... Is there a way I can download an iso of 64-bit bootable DVD and use it to upgrade?
  • The .iso file I created with the Windows DVD 7 Professional 32 64 BIT is not installed using BootCamp because it says that it requires a 64 BIT .iso?

    Hello

I try to have a system dual boot on a 2012 end iMac 27 inches with Intel i7 under OS X El Capitan v10.11.4 who had replaced running Fusion HD. I created files .iso files to both a .cdr WIndows 7 all-in-one 32/64 BIT DVD and a DVD from 32 to 64 BITS of Windows 7 Professionaland also downloaded the BootCamp5.1.5621 drivers. I created the files .iso on a USB disk ejector WD Passport 160 GB ATA. When I try to use BootCamp to create a WIndows 7 install disk from the selected .iso files, it is said that this version is not 64-BIT and it requires 64-BIT install on my iMac. What Bootcamp, look in the files of la.cdr/.iso it determines that it is not 64 bit?

Please use your product key and download an ISO only 64 bits from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 and place it in your Documents folder. Find a 8 + GB USB Flash drive, which will be in the format / erased by BCA. Run BCA and use the option create USB Installer (it should automatically check the software download option). When you are prompted, point to the ISO. This installer from USB can be used repeatedly.

El Capitan will create Setup with BC6 USB drivers. Please follow install Windows 7 and previous versions on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support and follow steps 1 through 16 in the Windows 7 installation section. Pay attention to step 11 in particular.

  • Bootcamp: Need for 64-bit Windows 8 or version later ISO file

Someone at - there is a little chance that?  If this isn't the case, you have all of the recommendations I have to do?

I tried to download an ISO 64 bit of Windows 10 via Windows Media Center, and had the same result/error message (need for 64-bit Windows 8 or version later ISO file) occur.

It's very frustrating, because I have a new MacBook Pro 15 "(mi-2015), I want to install this on."
