    Hello

Reinstall the printer driver and your audio/sound driver. Note update drivers was also
one of the methods in the previous troubleshooting. Have you tried the clean boot method?
    Did you also run CheckDisk?

If necessary AFTER those try a repair Installation / upgrade on the spot that allows you to keep
programs and data backups however redundant are always a good idea.

You can use another DVD that aren't copy protected but you you need to own
Product key. It must be the same version 32 or 64 BIT Vista OEM. Also the system
machine to usually sell the cheap disk since you already own Windows. Don't forget to make a
good backup or 3 (security in redundancy).

  • My PC under Windows 8 keeps restarting with an error message

    Hey!

I am currently on my laptop what makes me able to write this question.

Whenever I start my PC it is quite well, but then maybe 2-3 minutes later the screen turns completely blue and an error message is displayed.

    Here's what the error message:

    ":(

The computer has encountered a problem and must be restarted.

We collect only information about the error, and then we restart it for you. (0% done and counting)

"If you want to know more, you can get the error online: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (avgwfpa.sys).

I don't know what to do, because I can't do anything on my PC before it restarts. It keeps going like that over and over again (I can turn off though, as I have to type my password in the start menu. It first restarts when I'm in).

My PC is a computer Acer and Windows 8, as indicated in the title. I don't see the specifications, as I don't have enough time to go and find them on the computer.

I would be happy if you could help me.

My pleasure and I also thank you for yours!

All attached files of the DMP are the bug checking, UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f) .

This bug check indicates that the Intel CPU generated a trap and the kernel could not catch this trap.

    Bugcheck 7F, {8, ffffd00024bcf130, ffffd00022180fc0, fffff8016b138df1}

    ffffd000 22180 fc 0 00000000 00000000' avgwfpa + 0x2ddf1

Right, so avgwfpa.sys (AVG firewall driver) caused a double failure that occurs when a kernel mode trap. It is a problem because the kernel is not allowed to have or to catch this type of trap, so a double fault occurs.

That being said, please remove and replace AVG with built-in Windows Defender from Windows 8 for temporary troubleshooting purposes, as it is at the origin of the conflict:

  • Windows Explorer keeps restarting.

    Dear geniuses,
So, I found this egg Easter for Windows 7 that I thought would work for Vista too. It was an Easter egg "GodMode" that had me create a folder and rename it to something and after I made my computer made me reboot Windows Explorer and after I did it did not stop to do. I am not able to access anything (anything on my desk, my Start button, etc.), the only way I can access stuff is if I go into my task manager and that he tell it to create a new task. I can still go on the internet and I can't find any solution. Please help, thanks.

    Hello

1 do you have. what application installed?

    2. have you already check if it's compatible with Windows 7?

    3. what happens when you open any application from the desktop?

    4. you have any application installed on the computer security?

    Method 1:

I suggest you to uninstall the program and check if the problem persists.

    Uninstall or change a program

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program

    Method 2:

    Step 1:

I also suggest you to start the computer in safe mode and perform the clean boot in order to isolate the application that could be causing the problem.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

This could happen if one of the substantive programmes is in conflict with the proper functioning of your computer. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7, mentioned in the article to start the computer to a normal startup.

    Method 3:

I also suggest you go through the steps mentioned in the link and the Coachman.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2694911

Note: Do not forget to save all the date before performing in place it upgrade, also known as a repair installation.

Note: After the upgrade on site, your personal data and installed programs will not be deleted, but you may need to run Windows Update to install all the updates that are available for your system to update these files system to the current version.

Hope this helps and keep us posted.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.

  • Laptop HP 2000: windows 10 keeps restarting

First time here, can be bad so sorry advice. I have a laptop HP 2000 with SP1 and all the installed updates downloaded windows 10 and installed Windows 7. Now, lights up for a few minutes then restarts several times. I reinstalled windows 7 and new updates downloaded windows 10 and installed again, the same thing happens. Not computer smart, so thanks for any help.

Found the solution. Use media creation tool.  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10. Follow the instructions. Download the right software-32-bit or 64-bit. Use the flash drive, it is faster. Be sure to remove or uninstall all unnecessary elements. Basket empty. Disable all the steps needed to start.

Installed at 10 EARN about 2 hours ago, so far, works very well. This is maybe two or three hours to install. Be patient, seems to weigh sometimes but as I said be patient and it will continue. May need to reinstall certain things (printer, another browser, etc.).

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows XP keeps restarting my computer!

Hello everyone! So I just got my Windows XP computer connected to the Internet, but first of all my internet explore 6 is extremely picky about what sites he would leave work. So I decided to download Firefox, but at the end of the installation, he said I had problems with Windows, so I clicked on "scan my computer" because what could possibly go wrong with a simple swipe? But what he has downloaded the software without my permission! So, and I was afraid it was malware, so I uninstalled instantly. But he kept giving me notices and pop-up ads. Eventually however, every time I want to start Windows, it would give an error for half a second then restart the entire computer! I didn't know if it could in fact be the problem that the software "scanned" so I decided to completely reinstall Windows. But when I had installed Windows XP, I continued having exactly the same problem! Please help me!

Hey everyone, I've solved this problem myself in completely flushing of the hard drive and reinstall Windows. But thanks for the help though.

  • Windows Vista keeps restarting while OS or start charging.

My laptop restarts randomly the other day and since then I can't past the windows splash screen until the computer restarts again and again and again... Ive tried the mode without failure as last successful startup and I get the same result. Windows now screen "windows error recovery" gives me an option to start the system restart or start windows normally. If I select Restart the laptop takes forever, like 2 + hrs, to "solve" the problem then restarts and back to the drawing board. If I choose start normally it restarts just like usual when loading the os. I don't have a boot disk. It's windows vista. the day before, it happened that I was loggin in facebook when my anti virus blocked incoming Trojan. I rescan the computer 2 more times to ensure that no more threats have been detected and anti virus said it was clean. My first thought was that it might be a virus. I wasn't doing anything but watching netflix on my computer when restart the randomness that's happened. only other thing I think it could be is a hard drive problem. im a producer of music frame and many files, I'd love to recover if possible songs ive produced.any help would be appreciated.

I discovered that it was for all of you who have this same problem. The hard drive is a failure. I took the hard drive from my laptop which is having the issue and hooked it up to my desktop computer as a secondary drive. Immediately my office told me that the drive has been a failure and to save the data. After that I saved and saved my important has not filed more than an hour later the drive stops responding. So for those of you who have this problem, I would find a way to connect the hard drive to another computer as a secondary drive or slave and see if you get the same warning I did.save that you have important files before the death of the road. hope this has been helpful.

  • Windows XP keeps restarting after blue screen

I tried to reboot in safe mode, normal and the latest, but nothing works.  The blue screen appears for a second then restart my desktop computer.  The technical message I get is "stop: 0000007E (0X8A713510, 0XBA50B7EC, 0XBA50B4E8).  I checked the previous similar responses to this problem, but I've not seen one adapted to these numbers.  Can anyone help?

    My fault, it's stop: 0000007E (0xc0000005, 0X8A713510, 0XBA50B7EC, 0XBA50B4E8)

First, it is important that you find a way to copy all your data before doing anything else.

Unfortunately, a number of things can cause what you are experiencing! If you are not that technically savvy, you may need to find a PC tech.

Hardware problems can certainly cause BSOD. Here again, your happened recently, if you can perform what is commonly called a manual system restore:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307545

    You might luck with that.

If it doesn't work, you can try a repair installation:

    http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

And then, if you have a hardware problem, no amount of repairs or relocation you won't help. You will need to troubleshoot hardware, which may be too advanced for you.

You can get a blue screen, then here is the generic help for troubleshooting:

(You may be able to use the tool Nirsoft below to determine, from the minidumps if you have some
    errors and codes.)

Here are a few ways to possibly fix the blue screen issue. If you could give the info from the blue screen that would be
Help. Such as ITC and 4 others entered at the bottom left. And any other information such as STOP error
codes something like IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and similar messages.

    As exampes:

    BCCode: 116
    BCP1: 87BC9510
    BCP2: 8C013D80
    BCP3: 00000000
    BCP4: 00000002

    or in this format:

Stop: 0 x 00000000 (oxoooooooo oxoooooooo oxoooooooo oxooooooooo)
    Tcpip.sys - address blocking 0 x 0 00000000 000000000 DateStamp 0 x 000000000

It is an excellent tool for displaying the blue screen error information

BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death' crashes, and displays the
information on all accidents of a table - free

BlueScreens many are caused by old or damaged drivers, video drivers in particular, but there are other causes.

You can follow these steps in the Safe Mode if necessary or the command prompt Vista DVD or Options of recovery if your
    system installed by the manufacturer.

Often drivers up-to-date will help, usually video, sound, network card (NIC), WiFi, 3rd party keyboard and
smile, as well as of other major device drivers.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Computer keeps restarting, blue screen after windows logo.

    Hello!

My computer keeps restarting. It gets to the windows logo then a blue screen for 1/2 seconds and it restarts. The last good configuration does not change. Tho, safe mode works (im writing this safe mode with networking). Last night I scanned my pc of viruses through safe mode and remove all what it found, nothing has worked. I did a system restore, it changed nothing.

I unchecked 'restart system failure' and I managed to read the blue screen. He said that windows does not start to damage my computer. Then he said something about drivers and BIOS and the error was:

    "Technical information:

    "STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0X83B463B2, 0XF7945270, 0XF7944F6C).

I am running windows xp pro. And I've lost my windows disk.

    Please help, chris.
