Windows 7 release suddenly of correct password when connecting.

Recently, I put a password for my computer. I locked my computer and typed in it (so I know for a fact that his right). But when I started my PC this morning he automatically brings me to a screen saying "username and password is incorrect." I press OK and my password (WHICH IS 100% GOOD) it says it is bad.

So, when my computer starts up I pressed F8 and went to repair the system. It brings me to the screen to enter a password, I type the same word EXACTLY as before and it let me. I am trying to log into my account user "Tyquan" to start my PC AND on the repair of the system.

I don't have a single account which is administrator, I never put a password when setting up my windows for the first time, and even if I did it would be one of the 3 passwords (I tried them all and all stupid variants of them they might be)

I'm just confused as to why my computer is rejecting my password on one screen but accept it in another.

Im running windows 7 64 bit

Thanks in advance for all your help

Start the machine in Repair Mode, then use system restore to restore Windows to a point where you were able to log in.

  • Windows 7 professional asks for a password when I never put one in place, so I can't get past the login screen.

I have Windows 7 Professional installed on our desktop computer.  I've never set up a user account password when I installed last month, while I wouldn't not to remember it when I log in to Windows.  Last night, I rebooted the computer, but now Windows stops on the user account login screen and asks for a password.  He has never done this before, and I've never set up a password, so I have no idea what to do?  I can't get past this screen without a password.  I have very important files, I already put on this computer, and I need to be able to access quickly.  I don't have a password reset disk, as I've never set up a password first.  Why is this happen, and how can I'm get past this so I can access my files on my computer?  Please help in any way, you can, as soon as possible, please.  Thank you!

    Hi Marco,.

You may need to contact a local technician to back up your data and then ask them to follow the steps on how to back up your files and restore your computer through this link: back up and restore your PC.

  • Windows 7 does not ask for password when password protected sharing is on.

    Hi guys,.

I'm no stranger to permissions etc as I work in it, but it confused me after 4 hours of messing around.

I'm trying to make sure that when I share a file on my home network that windows requires a password in order to access what it is not doing.

The following conditions are true for both machines:

    Are windows 7 Home premium

Have file sharing enabled on each respective network adapter

Are members of the home network

Are both on the network, called "WORKING group".

Assistant file sharing was turned on and off then to make sure it wasn't an influence, it is currently off as he auto-actions the user root folder.

    Network discovery is on

File sharing and printer is on

I tried the two combinations of sharing folders public or not, but is currently disabled.

    Streaming media is off

    Password protected sharing is on

Tried the two combinations of user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers. (This is currently set to allow windows to manage)

So I won't list them the public parameters are not relevant.

I put one hand on my laptop remove 'Everyone' and 'administrators' only have my own authorized account which is be an administrator.

My other machine but I still seem to be able to open and access the folder. I tried to change advanced sharing permissions and security settings to exclude any group that can be let my other pc on the network but so far still no prompt for password.

I even went to regedit and apply the following on both machines:

    1. Open Registry Editor (Start search - regedit)
    2. navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
    3. create a new DWORD value with the following properties: NAME: LmCompatibilityLevel
    VALUE: 1
4 reboot your PC and try again to establish the connection.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you people!

I think I've cracked the question:

I created a new account admin on my PC and the first time I tried to access anything, I got the password. I don't have it a second time.

I then removed and put in the passwords and then disconnected cache and back in and asked again the password.

I tried the same thing on my other account, but it has not yet requested.

It turns out that even on another computer, if you have the same username and password that it automatically authorizes for good once you enter the network password first.

  • After running System Restore my computer asks for a password when connecting and I don't remember the password.

I am running Vista Home Premium on a laptop Toshiba Satellite L305.  I ran the system restore due to a problem of "Internet Explorer cannot display the website" (by Microsoft troubleshooting guide for this problem) and selected restore point earlier.  Now the computer asks for a password that I don't remember.  I tried all the possible passwords I can think.   There is only a single user account on this computer.  The administrator account should be disabled, it is not an option when connecting safe mode.  I don't have a system repair disc set.   Is it possible to run the system back restore to select a more recent restore point which does not require a password?  Or y at - it another way to connect to the computer?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/undo-system-restore

If you tried to use the system restore to solve a problem, but the problem remained or other problems were introduced, you can undo the restore operation. After you cancel the system restore, you can try using a different restore point.

I've implemented a network & it seems to work but when I try to access my XP Machine from Windows 7 to ask me to enter the network password. I tried to enter my password to login & that did not work, I tried to disable the password for the xp machine and he asks again. What can I do to solve this problem. My xp machine I can access the pc windows 7 very well so I do not understand why this network password W7.

Did some research on the net and here's what I did to solve the problem that has been produced

Allowing access to the network without password

To allow users to log on to their computer without password and then access the XP Professional machine without a password, you must make a change security policy:

    1. Go to Control Panel | Performance and Maintenance | Administrative Tools | Local security policy.
    2. Expand local policies | Security options.
    3. Double-click on accounts: limit local account passwords using empty for the connection to the console only, which is enabled by default. Disable this option and click OK.

It stopped at the dialog box access network appearing when trying to access my windows xp machine 7!

    Hello

I'm trying to connect to my system (Windows Vista) and once I get the password to the Welcome screen then screen black with the mouse pointer and all activity stops. The small led that flashes when the CPU turns off completely, which means there is no current activity. The only way out of this is difficult to the system startup.

I did not go to the updates to the system. The last time that I logged it automatically ran a chkdisk.

I can start the system in safe mode and tried to clean the boot and then start the system, the system connects and then everything freezes like before. All my services (clean boot) are off at the moment. I also tried to recover and from recovered point previous and who did not help as well.

Can anyone provide any indication as to what may be the problem?

You have a Vista DVD, if yes begin with him in the recovery environment and
Choose the command line? If it's not see

  • Using the network authentication Windows 7 name of user and password to connect to a network (internet access)

When I try to CONNECT to my network, I get a window of security Windows network authentication requires a user name and password. I have no idea this here. Apparently until I find it I will not be able to connect wirelessly to the Internet

I assume you are using Windows 7 and trying to connect to the wireless network? There are many discussions here for precisely this question and answers not very unhelpful.  Have you tried to manually add the wireless network and select Connect automatically?   This seems to have solved my problems.

    1. open network and sharing Center (click on start - Control Panel - Network and sharing Center)

    2. click on manage networks wireless on the left side and opens a new window - manage wireless networks that use (wireless)

    3. click on add

    4. click on add a network profile

    5. Enter the name of the network - security Type and security key (this info should be provided by your internet service provider)

    6. check the box that says "Connect automatically when this network is in range" and click the next button

    7. click on the close button in the next window that opens (or you can take a look at the settings, if you like, and then click close)

The netio.sys is a Windows driver that is involved in the "networking."

The process that crashes regularly is avgnsa.exe which is a process of AVG.

I would say to uninstall AVG and see if the accidents to solve.

He also seems to be a remnant of a previous installation of Trend Micro (tmtdi.sys) driver.

If you had previously installed Trend Micro plan to run the following Trend Micro removal tool:

If you're running Windows 8 pre-release version of the software consider using just the built-in Windows and antivirus software firewall rather than any third-party antivirus or firewall software.

  • Why need password when connecting Thunderbird not actually?

Apparently, once a user is connected to the TB using the password, it is necessary once again
to access the passwords stored (via Tools\Options\Security).

BUT I FOUND - when the initial TB connection box, if you click Cancel instead
give the password, you are immediately given access to the account (set
to the mailbox where you left last TB). Then, if you want to access
an another mailbox, you need only click on Cancel to give access. It is clearly
a security bug - password is not needed to access the emails!

However, if you connect using the password instead of click on cancel, TB
the following dialog boxes do not appear.

It seems that this password system protects only the stored passwords, not the
contents of the mailbox of the account as well...

It seems that this password system protects only the stored passwords, not the contents of the mailbox of the account as well.

Passwords to Thunderbird can remember are your account passwords. They are necessary to access your account on the server. They are not necessary to access the (local) profile.

You can set a master password to protect the account passwords.

    Matt,

Please check the IP addresses defined on each of the computers.

-Open the command prompt amd type ipconfig/all and press ENTER.

Also try to ping the router from the computer and check if there is a good connection.

    - Ping 192.168.1.1 (if 192.168.1.1 is defined as the IP address of the router).

If computers have starting with 169.xxx.xxx.xxx IP addresses then you will not be able to connect to the router wireless and the Internet. This address is called APIPA.

You will have to perhaps release IP addresses and make sure.

-In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER.

    ipconfig/release

    ipconfig/flushdns

    ipconfig / renew

Please let us know the IP addresses defined on each computer and also the IP address it of the router.
