Windows 7 says its not authentic when I received the key to microsoft?

I have looged on my computer today and it said my windows 7 was not authentic I reformat, then it works for a day then it immediately goes to the same thing happening?

Hello. :)

This could be because Windows is not activated. To activate Windows, you must enter the RC product key provided to you. Then press on Start > Control Panel > system and Maintenance > system . Basically, there should be what is called Windows activation, showing you if Windows is activated and the product ID. If Windows is not activated, it must indicate "Windows will activate automatically in X days. Click here to activate now . "Click on the link and the problem should be solved.  :)

I hope this has helped. :) Evandela

A copy of Acer OEM of Windows 7 Ultimate has been installed on a HP computer. A copy of Acer OEM of Windows 7 is limited by the Microsoft license for installation on an Acer computer. The installation is a counterfeit.

You must buy a new copy of Windows or return to the copy of Windows installed when the computer was purchased new.

  • Windows 7 now says its not authentic?

Hi, I bought a copy of windows 7 and it was working fine, until I reset my PC bios. When I started again windows asked me my product key and once said that I was using a non-genuine copy of windows. The screen goes black and there is a notice at the bottom of the page office. How can I fix it? He accepted my key product very well when it is activated first, but it of all of a sudden and now does not accept the key, claiming his Scythe.

A solution would save a lot of concern, time and money.

    Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the reply, I tried activating just a few times back in the case and it worked after e few will.

Thanks for the help anyway :)

  • Get: error in device: device not authentic when you launch the app VirtualBench

When I start the application virtual bench (10 x 64 Windows) I say device error dialog: "device error: device is not authentic" and am no longer able to connect to the device. At one point, I was able to connect to the device via the USB port and also via wifi. I have rebooted the machine, pedaled power, uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled the software virtual bench with no luck. Any advice?

    After an attempt:

-Reset the device via the button on the back of the device of virtual bench

    -remove the installed drivers

    -resettlement of bench virtual application

    -another machine

    -connection via the access point

    -USB connection

    -try a different USB port

Still not had luck. Until finally, I decided to unplug the power on the virtual bench cable and plug it back. Looks like it's a pure reset of some sort. Now, I can connect successfully to the device

  • I bought an acer laptop travelmate 4500its running on packard bell windows vista but the key to produce on ifor machine windows xp pro, what do I do as the activation key is to say its not authentic

Windows vista laptop, but the activation code on the bottom is for windows xp pro, what I can do

You have an Acer laptop, Packard Bell Windows Vista computer running?

Packard Bell OEM Windows can only be used on machines from Packard Bell.

If the label says XP, then the machine was initially delivered with XP,

and the one who sold you the machine will rip you off with an illegal copy of Vista.

If you can, get your money back.

If not, you will have either to reinstall XP, or get a legitimate copy of something more recent.

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Professional, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Professional that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

    20060331000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in 2009, the date of your BIOS says 2006, which probably means that your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, it is a Windows 7 well known professional license which has been used all over the web:

    Windows product key: *-* - M3DJT - 4J3WC-733WD

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.

  • I removed Windows Vista 32-bit and Windows Vista 64-bit installed, but when I enter the key it says the key is already in use. How can I fix it?

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 32 and 64 bit edition

I bought Windows Vista Ultimate 32 and 64 in a box in 2008, I installed the 32 edition because at the time I was told not all software will work with the edition 64 a month ago, I decided to windows 7 Ultimate Via Amazon purchase which proved be a copy of the counterfeit money and Amazon me has now repaid , so what I do, well I could buy another copy of windows 7 Ultimate or I could give the other Version of windows that came in the same box with a product key a go, so I removed and formatted the hard drive and reinstalled 64 bit version on my drive using the product key original that I used on the 32-bit Edition for four years and when I try to register the 64 bits edition, that is to say someone else using this product key, you will have to buy another key or a copy of windows 7. Well, I decided to wait until Windows 8 will be released, that's why I decided to try the Vista 64 - bit Edition?

Or better yet, I might switch to a Mac OS x system?

The answer is not to buy Windows 7 from a dealer on the market of Amazon.  Stick to Amazon itself.  Amazon Marketplace is as eBay and other auction sites and online delivery.  It is composed of persons whose practices sales are questionable.  You won't get counterfeit product from Amazon itself.

You have to solve the problem with Vista 64-bit using phone activation.

Activate by phone.  http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc736912 (WS.10) .aspx

Or click Start and type ' slui.exe 4.

Do not answer all prompts automatic until it asks you if you want to speak to an agent.

If you continue to have problems with activation, run the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool

Once downloaded, run the tool. Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button. Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message.
  • Windows 7 Ultimate is enabled but claims its not authentic, unchanged over the years!

Lenovo T60, 4 GB RAM, running on a 160 GB SATA drive, finally practically full.  Bought a Seagate 500 GB SSHD, used the Seagate Disk Wizard to clone the drive through using a second hard drive adapter.  Everything went a lot until the clone said that it has not been activated.  Well, got out of the Windows 7 Ultimate package of disks and put in the key, and it validated and activated.  A little later upward appears one Windows may not be authentic, and so I ran the tool MGADiag.EXE results:

Hey there.  I recently did a factory reset and now I can't seem to install service pack 1... It says its installed but when I search for new upates I get the same so far again and again and again.  any ideas?

I don't think it is a good update of the service pack, a because it was only 1.9 MB, but every once its installed, I look for new updates and get the same thing.  its driving me crazy.  I can't keep getting my system at a speed without this service pack

  • Windows 7 Build 7601 not authentic on brand new computer

Purchased my Lenovo to Fry mid October 2012.  Have already experienced several BSOD right after that MS updates were installed every time.  A few days ago, I met several BSOD right after that the Windows updates were installed.  On the last BSOD, I get the message Windows 7 Build 7601 not authentic.  Nothing I tried as suggested on screen worked, amounts to the same thing.  I am a student full time online.  Fall semester ends on Sunday, December 16, and I'm way now behind on all my homework back and my final exams in all categories.  It does not help and I have not the time to take my computer to Fry for them to take a look.  All my data is stored here.  In addition, I tried to restore to another time, when you restart the message was still there then I turned off and when rekindled later it had disappeared, but returned for the next day.  I tried to restore againn but this time it won't go away.  I don't know where my product key is, as it is not on the computer itself.  It may be on a manual but I have since moved and had the movers help me and they put things in the back of my storage unit or in boxes not recognized.  So until I go through everything in my storage unit I'm screwed.  Please help as soon as possible because it's really me screwing.

    Thank you

    Denise

You install the driver from Windows Update updates?

If so, I would avoid their installation in the future and instead to download any available hardware updates directly from the manufacturers Web site.

I also suggest that when you get a new computer and you start for the first time, you must create a system restore point.

As each new Windows 7 PC should come with a COA sticker that is attached to it, this is one evidence of a genuine license installed on the machine. If you bought it on shelf, its possible someone could have pulled off the sticker.

Always check for a real sticker or buy any of the machine.

It seems that you have bad luck with Fry, FRY well their business and the purchase of another where, there is nothing particularly special to their topic. Try to buy directly from the manufacturer online or try another store, if you live close to a Microsoft Store, you can go.

Sorry for all the problems that you are experiencing, we are just volunteers here who are trying to help other users of Windows.
