  You can right click an empty area of the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, click Properties and then on the tab taskbar, properties, uncheck "Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop" after you do this, the rectangular box will always be there and you can click it to show the desktop, but it will appear with the mouse just sit there.

  Yes, you can disable the touchpad. Fn + F7 keys disable it. But you should be aware that the device you want to buy has a few hardware problems. Currently, there is no solution to prevent flickering display, if the brightness level is lower than 70-100%. There are other issues, mainly stability. You should read this forum before buying.

  Well, I'm just a casual player of Freecell, so I've never really paid attention to the stats.  However what I found is that if after the cards are dealt, if you 'Select Game' before to make some moves on in the game, it does not count as a game played or a loss.  As soon as make you any kind of move on the game, then becomes an active game and will be considered a loss\game played if you select a new game.  Try it and make sure it works correctly for you.   You can type on settings-> languages entry & -> Google main Board (keyboard input methods &)-> preferences-> Diasable the vibrate on keypress function and its done!

  Why Microsoft does not insist on what gives us useless features which we cannot disable without going through x hours of troubleshooting and re-scheduling?  The common thing for me is the boring Windows Desktop button display in Win 7 that is attached to the start bar and no use no feature other than to watch sticky.
  For those of you who don't already know, the same function is possible by pressing the windows key + d.
  Personally, I find this feature to be annoying, even for novices because of its inconvenient location in the lower right; basically as far to start as physically possible.
  I am a fairly advanced user and I decided to go back to the Window$ for Ubuntu after 7 came out because of the improved performance and support for adobe cs4.  (even if it's another story entirely)
  I guess the question I have, this is where this 'feature' few are in the registry if I can remove it?  (or if there is an easier way to remove it, I'd be interested what so, although I'm almost certain, that there is no)

  Also at Microsoft Note: perhaps an update to make this icon mobile and removable via gui would be nice, because the way I'm sure that many other people don't like it and have less experience than I do in programming and customization.

  Edit: Im not interested in turning "off" the feature active it, I want to remove completely.

  You cannot disable the buttons next and previous, you can hide them via the options menu flying if you want (select the widget > click the blue circle with the white arrow at the top right of the widget).

  However, even if the next/previous buttons will take you to another image, you can still change them, when they are selected, as the buttons remain same for all slides.

  In addition, the buttons should be the same color for each photo.

  Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the button to archive in the custom viewers? I'm building a custom Viewer to be pre-installed on certain Android tablets for my users that wil Somphone software use to limit the use of the tablet to a few parameters and select applications. My concern is that if a user taps on then archive in my application they wil not be able to download the folio again due to the restrictions of the device, so disabeling the button archive would be the answer.

  You cannot delete the Archive button in the standard library.

  You can rename the button Archives using the option of custom in DPS App Builder strings, but I don't know if it will help in your situation.

  Do not try to write your own.  ;-)  No need to reinvent the wheel that is already on your system.

  WLM 2011: ALT + F, Options, mail, compose - uncheck: message to convert to e-mail photo when you add photos

  While composing
  WLM 2011: Insert (ALT + I), simple Photo or attach file

  There is a solution to avoid the send from Windows Explorer forcing picture messaging in WLM 2011 despite the program settings.

  When you select to send, accompanied of a record no graphic images.  This could be just a file dummy.txt which is located in the same folder.

  You will always have the ability to resize the images, but they find themselves attached instead of a mail of the photo.  You can then right click on the file dummy.txt and remove it from the message before sending it.
