Windows 8 stop & Hang problem?

I upgraded my new laptop from windows 7 to windows 8 the day its launch as I was part of the upgrade offer. Since its installation, the beings of system to freeze or it slows down ultra slow. Also when I stopped, it just says: stop but he doesn't even if I wait for half an hour. Please suggest what to do?

Problems with perceived judgment as being the choice of the day. I thought I have mine healed with the fast start of stop mode. It worked once or twice and now using the power button to stop it.

  • Windows 7 PC hanging problem

My crashes PC windows 7 exactly after 40 seconds of connection. I had detected too hot on the hard drive. Could you help on this issue.

If the fans are all working properly, it is likely a failure of the thermal paste between the CPU and the heat sync.

The following assumes that you have to deal with your desktop format.  If you have a laptop, you will need a technician to do it.

Go to the computer store and you get a small tube of thermal paste.  You need to remove the synchronization of heat on top of the processor:

    1. Turn the power off and hold the switch on in during 7 seconds.
    2. Disconnect the fan cable from the motherboard.
    3. Unscrew the 4 screws that hold the synchronization of heat on the motherboard.
    4. VERY carefully remove the heat sync.
    5. Using a soft cloth (very small piece) and a very small amount of alcohol to friction, very carefully remove the dried paste the contact surfaces, dry them carefully
    6. Put 4 points of paste on the CPU, not on the edges, but not to the Center either.
    7. Press on the CPU heat sync. Pull it out and check the batter completely covers both surfaces but do not ooze or the other.
    8. Now raise.

I have to be honest to you; your troubleshooting is very impressive, but you forgot to check the HARD disk. It is possible that the HARD disk do a few worries. If possible try to test the HARD drive with a tool, and see if there may be some bad sector or something.

BCCode: 117 is generally a problem of display driver (video) If you need to update (check the system machine

If necessary you can perform in SafeMode with network - repeatedly F8 tap that you start.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their

updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

  • Error code 43 (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems) on nividia 8800 gt graphics card

I have a computer with dual nvidia geforce 8800 gt graphics card graphics cards, but I recently started getting the following in my device manager error message: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) »

I started getting this message out of the blue after moving from my computer to another room.  I knowingly did not change anything on my PC and have been released for about 2.5 years with no real problems to speak of her.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the latest driver from nvidia and had no luck.  I don't have access to the nvidia due to the device being disabled control panel.  Also I tried to restore my PC to a previous save point with no luck as well.  A short reading on nvidia forums led me to try a registry scan and repair, but alas it was without result.

Any advice on what could be the cause of the problem and the best solution would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi rd,.

You could try to remove one of the cards, then update the driver.

They should use the same driver and may be coflicting at startup.

You should also check the power supply if it is a few years old.

Also make sure it is off enough electricity for the installation of the split card.
