Windows 8 stuck in repair on CAREB Office mode
Hi, I saw a lot of this issue, but I still have problems.
I'm unable to access the command prompt or other advanced options as he says "you must login as administrator to continue, but are not all accounts administrator on this PC".
I had the same problem and was able to fix it with these steps (unfortunately they may not be literally accurate because I tried different things to a few yours)
- Go to advance settings and tell it to restart in safe mode with command prompt (I think it was option 6). (This may have been when I started form the DVD, not sure)
- When it restarts in command prompt running chkdsk /f.
- He said that another process is using the disk, but you can reschedule the operation at the next restart, I did
- Next reboot ran chkdsk for about 10 minutes then restarted fine Windows 8.1
- The State of my PC was an old, my password was old and an account that I created recently wasn't there, but at least he started

Windows 8 stuck to the REPAIR ATTEMPT
I tried installing a driver (I don't remember specifically which) for my windows desktop 8 the Dell Web site and the system are stuck during installation. I got irritated and put off the computer. After that everything by rebooting, the system went through something and got stuck to "REPAIRS". It was in the same State for about two hours and nothing happened.
I installed the windows 8 from an ISO file and then it activated with a key that I brought. I installed in my ubuntu system and works perfectly. Is it possible I could fix the system without actually losing the programs files and settings. I have no backup data.
I tried to go into the options of starting using F8 or SHIFT + F8 and nothing happened.
Help please... Thanks in ADVANCE...Hi Nadine,.
Thank you for choosing Windows 8 and give us the opportunity to help you.
I understand from the description of the question, you get an "ATTEMPT REPAIRS" error when the computer starts.
Could you answer a few questions to understand the question:
1. are you able to start in on the Office?
2. What is the brand and model of the computer?
I suggest you to follow these methods for the question and check.
Method 1: Start the recovery environment with installation of Windows 8 media.
Please follow the steps below. Insert the DVD to install Windows 8 on DVD-ROM and restart your computer.
(a) once you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
(b) select the exact time and the type of keyboard.
(c) click on repair your computer in the lower left corner.
(d) select Troubleshooting from the choose an option screen.
(e) click on Advanced troubleshooting screen options.
(f) click AutoFix on the Advanced Options screen.
(g) then choose the operating system by clicking on its button.
(h) Windows 8 will then look for problems on the hard drives and verify that all required files are intact.
Method 2: Run the restoration of the system of the Advanced Options screen.
Follow these steps:
(a) once you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
(b) select the exact time and the type of keyboard.
(c) click on repair your computer in the lower left corner.
(d) select Troubleshooting to choose an option screen.
(e) click Advanced options in the form of resolution of the problems.
(f) select System Restore.
System Restore turns to go back in time for your PC: while your documents and files will always remain.
I hope that solves your problem. Please do not hesitate to write back to us, if you face any other Windows related question. We will be happy to help you.

Windows Update stuck at 'Check updates'
Original title: Windows Update stuck
I had to recover my laptop windows 7 back to out-of-box state system. Once presented to my office, I immediately went to Windows Update to install all of the updates that I needed. After installing SP1, and restart the computer, windows update to update the update agent, so he could get some more updates. He said he would close and re - open Windows Update, which she did, but now it is stuck on "check updates".
The update that broke the update of Windows was "Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320"
I have since made a recovery of the system to the State out-of-box three times and each time "Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320" installs Windows Update is stuck saying "check updates".
I did tons of attempts to solve this problem, but it won't find more updates and I can't install more updates.
I have also experienced problems with Windows Update still looking for updates when Windows Update 7.6.7600.320 has been installed automatically after the system update to SP1 (it was after doing a clean install of Windows 7).
The following worked for me:
1. manually installing KB3083710
2. manually installing KB3102810
3. restart the computer
4. run the Windows Update Diagnostic tool to reset Windows Update (support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058)
5 restart the computer again and search for updates

Windows 7 stuck loading at the Welcome screen
-Loading of Windows 7 stuck on the Welcome screen
-Only works on Safe Mode, safe mode with network works well
-Starting repairs na not
-I don't have a Windows 7 CD or the HP recovery CD
-I've never had viruses or malware or connect USB drives for this laptop
I got a blue screen down yesterday (no external connected device), after which Windows does not go beyond the loading screen. I have not installed the new drivers and programs recent. The last thing I've updated some Adobe applications ended a month ago but my latop working well at all until this blue screen suddenly. It is also the first blue screen crash in like 2 years.
What has not worked:
Start by using last good configuration, under the main boot menu
Uninstalling the drivers I thought to be the cause, in safe mode
Msconfig: Disable everything under services and startup
PROMT command: Sfc/Scannow
My system does not display the restore points
However, I found restore factore default but that's the last thing that I want to try because I have to do my music and adobe production apps back will cost a lot of time and data.

OK, the details of installation below, so when I try to compose an email, I just get a new message window icon stuck in windows

If I restart normally and manually disable addons/plugins, then close and restart normally IE mode unsecured, it
breaks, so doesn't seem to be an addon or plugin, but rather something with the configuration.Application Basics

Firefox window gets stuck in the same place. I can re-size, I can go full-screen (or back), but the main, when 'magnified' flat 2 cm below the main toolbar. I can't do seem to 'take off' it. It is also in the main window, but I can drag the other windows on it. Essentially, this does not in my view.
I just corrected it. the title bar should be turned on? Is by default 'off' and why? I go to display/Toobars/customize. The response time for clicks grew by at least 2 x the latest version. Now, I have no footer for my apps bar, maybe I'll find that, too?
Hi mrbonine,
Yes it's elements has changed in the new Firefox 29. You can custom the foot of page by adding an add on bar or space at the bottom of the menu in the menu customize you forwards. Bar Add on -

I have a netbook with no disk drive that is running Windows Vista. When I try to turn it on, it tells me that a file is missing or damaged and that I have to install my Windows disk and select repair. Seeing that I don't have a hard drive on my computer, How can I do to repair vista windows?
Hello
Netbooks have the option to reinstall the operating system to when it was new.
They have a recovery Partition on their hard drives the same as most laptops and desktops...
You should ask the Netbook Manufactuter for particular key sequence to begin a recovery.
Some manufacturer's instructions are to press F10 or F11 at startup; others are Alt + F10, etc..
The installed software doesn't have knowledge written in programming to realize that you have a Netbook and you are unable to insert the disc. That's the way it is written, unfortunately: one size.
And some more expensive Netbooks now have a DVD player.
See you soon.
