Windows administrator password

My son has an admin password on her computer.  He has recently changed his password and now it can connect at the start when he turns on his computer.  If the computer goes into lock mode, it can not reconnect unless it restarts the computer.  He tried to change the password, but it can not change it or delete it.  I think because he used a space in the password which could do something.  Anyone know what can be done?

If there is ANOTHER account administrator on the machine, then we could connect and change the password of the account of your son.
If there is not another admin account, so question...
He can always log on as an administrator after the reboot. Yes?
If so, use this tutorial to allow the 'built-in ': administrator

http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/67567-administrator-account.html

Then, connect to the built-in Administrator account and use it to change the password of your son.

Suggest DISABLE you the account administrator integrated suite or him give a secure password.

NOTE: If the computer does not recognize the password of your son as an administrator, then I can't help you. Because we are not allowed to help users to crack the problem of password admin. penalty is banned from all forums Ms.

  • Windows Vista, administrator password, does not

I had the windows administrator password since I bought my laptop about a week, there is the password no longer works, (no one has changed the password). Finger printer reader, my impression, finger reads me the green check mark, and then displays the incorrect user name or password. Dell has no help nor Microsoft, called the two, both passes the question to the other. I have many family photos and some documents I want to turn off my computer, I can't get them because of the password, I bought a case that Dell said to do, it does not fit my hard drive. Can someone tell me how to bypass my password so that I can get at my photos or what I can do to at least get my photos in the admin account that is displayed in my full name. I tried to type in the command prompt, and nothing works, please any help, I would be so grateful... Dell and Microsoft told me, there's a way to get around, but they cannot help doing it on my own computer.

    Hello

Donna I don't know how the fingerprint reader interacts with the opening of session if it is an assumption. This method
works on systems without the reader of fingerprints and perhaps on your system when used in conjunction with
your fingerprint reader. Hope it's useful.

If this is not enough you are no worse off as you are now.

Try this - use the hidden administrator account to lower your user account (to the lowest level) APPLY/OK
then go back and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times.
Then fix the password in your usual account. Do not forget to leave your account administrator if you
    wish.

Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for
repair, don't use regular account, not a safety valve) always keep a spare ADMIN account.

DO NOT LEAVE THE ENABLED LSA OR USE DAILY. If it corrupts you are toast!

  • The clearing - Optiplex 760 administrator password

OK I have followed the instructions on Dell's website:<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

I need to change/delete the administrator password because the systems
guy has passed away and I need to change the boot order on one of the machines so that we can
perform a clean install of the operating system.

I removed the jumpers as described in the instructions but nothing
changed. I also removed the bios battery CR2032 and this too didn't
    change anything.

Can I remove the battery and leave the machine un-powered for 24 hours
to wipe everything that is hard coded in the bios? Or can somebody tell
me where else is the power coming from to keep remembering the
passwords? There must be a way of wiping everything to get me going.

I thought I will flash the bios if this would work but I can't boot from
any media because the first media it looks for is HD and I can't change
    anything without the Administrator password.
Please note: this question is about Bios' Administrator Password (NOT Windows Administrator Password).

I posted a similar question on Microsoft Newsgroup but they don't have a clue about this.

    Thanks.

    Hello

    Welcome to the community

If you try the procedure described on the link you provided that it should work immediately. You perform the steps on the clearing CMOS settings? You can try to remove the battery for a long period of time. Remove all the cables connected to the motherboard. Including the Rams. Then try again. If the same thing happens, motherboard can issue.

Let me know if you need further assistance, happy to help you!

    Kind regards

I forgot my password for windows 7 on a HP Pavilion laptop. I use the fingerprint reader to log on now (Administrator). I do not have the password reset disk also. What should I do to reset the password?

    Here you go:

    1. Start the computer with your CD to repair Windows.
    2. Select "Repair Mode".
    3. To set Windows to a point before you changed the password, use "System Restore".
    4. Sign in with your old password.
    5. Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key.

It is available, you have an installation CD or created a CD to repair.

  • HP Pavilion 17 e040us - administrative passwords (Windows 8/HP)

I'm a little confused on the administrative passwords.

I went to my "manage accounts" and he said my name, the type of account I (they is more than one type of account, and if so, that should appear here), listed as "Administrator" and the password protected for Windows 8.  The password that I created to "lock screen" also the password for Adminstator?  I don't remember being asked a password "Administrator"?  I also created a password and have the code for my Microsoft account security.

Also is there such a thing as administrator account for my HP computer?

Thank you and "Happy Valentines Day" for those who celebrate it.

I forgot, what is a BIOS password?

    JoseysGirl,

I do not know which ensures your Internet service; I think that you can open a browser and log as desired.

The main reason for the creation of an additional administrative account on your computer is to give access to your computer, in case your hair into account principal for some reason any and you cannot connect to the computer.  You can always set an account - or, in most cases, retrieve data from account - IF you have a way to enter into the computer in the first place.  The extra account gives you an additional door - like through the garage to your home by using a spare key - you are still in the House, and now you can watch for that other key.

In general the following is true:

    • E-mail services have a method to keep in a safe place in the servers that are used to provide a Web login page to your e-mail.
    • E-mail providers perform backups of emails sent to their servers for each user who has an account and who receives the e-mail to this account.

Possible EXCEPTIONS / Exclusions to the Email backups:

    • E-mail messages that are moved to the trash
    • Emails that are placed in the Spam folder
    • Emails that are "skipped" or forwarded to another account - this depends on if the "leave on server" option.  Thunderbird email is an example of a 'pop' email client - the user has the option or the other copy of local Thunderbird email account (on your computer) OR moving the e-mail server to your Thunderbird account.  If you do not understand what this means, you probably not use e-mail client software, and you can skip the verbiage.

Electronic mail services providers provide an access point for Web page for the e-mail that is addressed to your account.  In other words, you can open a browser, go to the provider's Web page, sign in to your account with the right user name and password by email, and open your email.

    Suppliers of the example:

    Comcast

    Google Mail

    Yahoo Mail

    Microsoft Live account:

Extract from the account registration page:

You can use any email address as username for your new Microsoft account, including their Outlook.com, Yahoo! or Gmail addresses. If already connected you on Windows PC, Tablet, phone, Xbox Live, Outlook.com or OneDrive, use this account to connect.

As a general rule, you can connect to your e-mail account of your computer, since your tablet, maybe from your smartphone, your friend's computer.  You must have access to a "login page" for the email provider, you must have your user name and you know your password.
