Windows audio or something

Hello

Can someone help me. There a few months, I bought this laptop. This is hp pavalion dm4 beats edition. Irony is that I thought the audio system was certainly much in this but seems that's the first thing that gave out. My phone hangs after completing clicking and choking sounds. This occurs especially when I try to watch videos or movies online. I get this error "the instruction at 0x011d399f referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read. Tips on how to solve or know what the problem will be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

This is for anyone who has encountered the same problem, I found the problem. My hard drive has failed... Heck the Currys store in Basingstoke for the sale of this laptop... or HP. I replaced my hard drive and now so far it worked great, not of noise, not blue screen... well blue screen once and it continue to happen as it did to hope.

If you have the same problem then, it would not be the software, you should think about hardware, in my case, my hard drive.

    Hello world

    I use 1000 HP notebook (Core i3) PC with Windows 7 Ultimate x 64.

The problem is that when I start my laptop windows give a sound of wellcome, but after that windows audio service seems to be down because if I play something I can't. WMP said just cannot read the file.

So I checked the audio service of Services.exe.

Its status is started and configured to start automatically. It shows that the service is running but it is not.

And, strangely enough, is that when I update just the Service Windows Audio everythings works well for almost an hour and then wiothout any notice or change of status of the service stops working.

So when I continue to refresh service continues to work.

Please guide how can I do audio still good?

    Thank you.

    1. Click Start, type "Device Manager" and press ENTER.
    2. Expand the section "audio, video and game controllers".
    3. Right click on your sound card, and then select "uninstall."
    4. Restart your computer.
    5. Check if the problem persists.

These error messages are a pain in the neck to extract useful information.

I suggest that you do a search online 'pilot audio free downloads' and find another audio program for your PC.

If you find something that works for your satisfaction - remove your original pain in neck audio software and make sure you make your audio program newly found the 'default' device.

Realtek and NVIDIA, for example get stuff good free audio driver.

If the new program does not work - it would be a good indication that you have hardware on your PC, drive problems and no amount of play more with to try to correct the audio software will help. Period

  • I run Windows XP and my Windows Audio service is not listed in my Services window. It seems to be impacting directly to my computer detect my speakers. How do I fix this?

I run a desktop computer with Windows XP.

About two days ago my computer suddenly had no noise.  I checked the window sounds, voice and audio in the control panel.  Here, I discovered that the computer was grateful is no longer my speakers.  I have a Realtek HD Audio Manager, who still seems to recognize the speakers and can play demo sounds and effects in the Manager, but Windows itself can not see them.

I tried to reset my computer, which had no effect.  I did a virus scan, which detected and deleted a file from my drivers folder called afd, but my sound problem was not fixed.  Research on this problem, I found a lot of references for the Windows Audio service, which may have been disabled.  I ran the line services.msc and in this window, I couldn't find one marked Windows Audio.
A troubleshooting step suggested was to restore the computer to an earlier date, before the problem occurred.  This was not completely like my system has reported that it was impossible to restore to a previous period that I selected.
Are there additional opportunities that I missed?  Are there resources for me to download the program on Windows Audio?  Are my signs of deeper systemic problems?
    Sincerely,
    Silencer

I tried the Safe Mode system restore and chose the oldest checkpoint I could reach, 7 March. It took significantly longer to go, that he had previously, but still displayed the message, "cannot restore your computer to the point of control:" lists the control point for March 7 and then suggested another attempt at a different checkpoint. I do not understand why I wouldn't be able to do this work.

As for the AV and firewall Suites, I wear McAfee. Could it prevent my restoration? I'll try it with McAfee and the Internet, temporarily disabled.

McAfee may very well be the problem. When I was with Zone Alarm, I had to uncheck the setting "Start with Windows", then restart in Mode safe mode with command prompt and run %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe from there to get it restored. The problem wasn't so much that ZA he would keep running, but when it came time to restart, prevented ZA SR to writing files necessary back to Windows at the time of reset. By preventing it from "Start with Windows", it would end as it should, so I want to reactivate ZA.

And Yes, always unplug your ethernet (or disable your wireless network) while the firewall is down. Certainly don't want to pick up the mean, just trying to solve a common problem :-)

  • Windows defender or something very similar should prevent installation RegWorks

    RegWorks

I think I want to post my question to Microsoft.
When this program is first introduced, he looked as if he was recommended by Microsoft. I think that MS would do something and stop what is happening. It's annoying to have to go through all this to get the program off the PC. When a problem like RegWorks is highlighted, Windows defender or something very similar should stop to be downloaded.

You can also go to the website of your computer manufacturer to get the driver. They should have ALL the drivers for your computer model. :-)
