Is the flame of your user name pyro?

You may need to show hidden files. Type the Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select view advanced settings and check that the box "display files and folders" and 'Hide protected operating system files' are not checked. You may need to scroll down to see the second element. You should also make sure that the box before "Hide extensions of known file types" is not checked.

Select Win + E to open Windows Explorer. ' Search ' C:\Users\pyro's flame "and right-click on the flame of the pyro. Select new folder. Right-click on the new folder, select Rename, then type of downloads. You now have a folder for your downloads.

  • Receive an error message "Windows cannot find"C:\Windows\Program Mozilla Firefox Firefox\firefox.exe"." when launch firefox without the inability to use

    Hello!

It's happened since I got a virus a months ago who was preventing the computer to start. She came back from the repair shop and it begins again now. But after a few hours of using Firefox, this message pop up at random:
"Windows cannot find"C:\Windows\Program Mozilla Firefox Firefox\firefox.exe". Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. »
    Example: http://www.risingroad.com/foxhound/faq/images/Windows%20cannot%20find%20firefox.jpg

and Firefox still work after this message appears. I already uninstalled and installed new Firefox completely, and the message still appears upward. What this mean and is it harmful to the computer?

    I'm on Windows 8

I had the pop up ads sensation can cause the problem and talked about it to the engineer in computer science from my father. It installs Malewarebytes and there was indeed still a maleware by repair men left. The difference was, Chrome to view the full announcement page while Firefox may have in maintaining security to block this kind of page, and the result was the error message. (I didn't know that because it happened to me on my computers to the precedents and even Firefox used to show me the ad then) Thank you for warning me.

  • "Windows cannot find...". Error message (URL)... »

I created a shortcut on the desktop to go to:

    http://www.24hGold.com/English/gold_silver_prices_charts.aspx?money=AUSD & p = money

When I double click on the shortcut, the following message is displayed:

Windows cannot find 'http://www.24hgold.com/english/gold_silver_prices_charts.aspx?money=AUSD & p = money '. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search.

The problem is that Firefox start & then successfully on the site despite the message.

I discovered that THE MESSAGED IS DISPLAYED only if Firefox is NOT ALREADY running. If Firefox IS running, the error message not to POSTER NO.

It seems that there could be a problem with the length of Firefox on startup.

    Any other suggestions?

NB. the problem does not occur with Internet Explorer.

  • Windows cannot find the pictur error ~ 1.exe

Windows cannot find pictur ~ 1.exe error, when you click ok then pictur ~ 2.exe cannot be found, and then click ok and imagev ~ 1.exe is not found. Happen sporatically throughout the day and the error messages inspire each other to end up with dozens of the same error message in the task bar. There is no pictur ~ 1.exe in msconfig. You need to determine how to make this error go away, or which is looking for this program, or to all the less determine where it is sought.

Although I always think you should ask the help of expert antimalware, if you want to dig a little deeper on your own, here are 3 ideas, neither has no guarantee of success:

    1. take a look in the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK) and see if error messages are displayed that give the name of the routine which tries to launch these exe files.

    2. learn to use the process monitor (and, perhaps, Process Explorer).  These are powerful tools, and the learning curve is a bit steep.  I can't help you here.  See the links in the sidebar or the other of the two pages linked above.  You can start by watching the video here.

    3. in association with the use of Process Monitor, create an exe file with the name that appears in your error message and save it in a folder that is in your path (for example, C:\Windows).  You can make a copy of an existing such as Notepad.exe exe file and rename it to picture ~ 1.exe or create an exe of your own by using a tool like ExeScript.  If you get real ambitious, you might learn a little windows script (for example, this tutorial) and have your exe file displays the name of the process that called it (again, to help you with this is beyond my skills).

If you try one of these ideas and are able to go to the bottom of your problem, please post back with the details so that others (especially me) can learn.

  • XP user account being of error "Windows cannot find c:\documen~1/user/locals-1/temp/crss.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly.

    Hi, I have two problems

First on my brothers account, I get the following error message: windows cannot find c:\documen~1/henry/locals-1/temp/crss.exe. Make sure you have entered it correctly the soul. In this story, I can't click anything that runs - IE without access to the internet or anti-virus software, I think its something to do with rstrui.exe or rundl32.exe.

Secondly, I do not get the first error message on my account but I can't run any programs. He can't know what to use to open it. But the guest account seems to work very well.

I think I have a Trojan horse, which is messing with my registry. I tried my computer with anti-spyware and malware scanning software, but it is no longer showing me what is infected, in safe mode with network. I tried "SUPERAntiSpyware" and "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

I looked on the internet but nothing I tried works. Please can someone help me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Robzy_k4,

You will need to update your antivirus and run a full scan of the system in safe mode, until you see that your system has no infection found.

Once your system is virus-free, your desktop and eerything should be normal. It is likely that you are not able to open exe files open with dialog box:

You will need to rename regedit.exe to regedit.com (my computer-> tools-> option-> view file-> remove tickmark to "Hide extension for known file types"-> ok-now right click on local disk C:\WINDOWS\ online search of regedit.exe rename regedit.com).

Then click on Start-> Run Type &-> Regedit-> ok.

    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command
(you will have to press on + to achieve order)

Now, double-click default slot right windows and then change the value in this box for '%1' % *.

    Repeat the same for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Exefile\Shell\Open\Command

Close regedit, restart your pc and check if its working.

Now on the connection of your brother, once all the steps above are performed, click Start-> run, type & -> regedit-> ok navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER-> software-> Microsoft-> Windows-> CurrentVersion-> Run and on the right side, find the key that point to crss.exe in the temporary location and delete it.

  • Windows cannot find any additional network / an unexpected error has occurred

I got this new PC Windows Vista Home Edition x 64 SP2 and I need to connect it to the network wireless in my house because that the router Netgear DG834GT wireless broadband is not very conveniently placed for wired connectivity. I have a Netgear WG111T USB wireless adapter which works fine on my other PC / laptop (XP & Vista, both 32-bit), but I can't make it work on my Vista x 64 PC.

I have installed the version of the driver 2.1.0.26 x 64-compatible for the WG111T and the device works correctly, according to Device Manager.

When I try to 'connect', I get 'Windows cannot find any additional network . " While the other PC at home can pick up 3 wireless networks.

Go until the network & sharing Center, then manage the networks without wire, then Add, then manually create a network profile, I get "unexpected error ."

I spoke to Netgear who insist the player WG111T is compatible with the x 64 visits.

I talked to my PC provider who suggested to try the adapter on another PC Vista x 64 to see if it works there. Problem is, I don't know anyone else with a Vista x 64 PC.

I would be extremely grateful if someone can help me before on this one. Thanks in advance for all advice.

    See you soon,.

  • Error message appears when you open the link to Web sites in Windows Mail email: "windows cannot find [URL], make sure you typed the name correctly.

Until a week ago, I got no problem with opening links in e-mail messages in Windows Mail.  I suddenly had problems with the opening of all the links in e-mail messages - when I click on the link, an error message reads "Windows cannot find [url], make sure that you have typed the name correctly and try again"... a window then opens with a white screen.  But it is not a problem at the opening of the page if I paste the link to the window.

I also noticed that the problem resolves after a few attempts to open multiple links.   But after the reboot, the problem arises again.

I am currently using Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Mail; did an update today with Service Pack 2, ran full scan of the system with Norton (no virus) and did uninstall the Yahoo and Google toolbars (recommended by David O - engineer Microsoft Support responses - to another user in this forum with similar issues).  And I still have the same issues.

THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED - DUE TO INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUES BETWEEN SP2 AND NORTON.  UNINSTALL SERVICE PACK 2.
