Pavilion sleekbook 15: cannot install network controller
Hello guys. Happy new year
My HP Pavilion model is 15-b146sa and I am using Windows 7 ultimate x 64 (and I did).
The problem is that when I try to install a driver, I do, but a few seconds later he asked me to choose between two options.
The first is: reinstal, using recommended settings
Second one is: this program is installed correctly.
No matter what I choose, the driver is not installed.
Do you have any suggestions?
Network controller Info

Cannot install network printer on Windows 7. Detects the printer then it says cannot locate the driver. All my vista and XP machines have no problem finding drivers. It is a 32-bit 64-bit vs questions? How can I fix it?
Windows Server 2008 network. Printers have ip addresses. Install the drivers from the Print Manager. /Terminal Server Workgroup installation. It's the same situation with XP. The print driver names must match. If you notice the name of the printer driver that uses XP is a name different from the one that is installed when you plug in the device on the Windows 7 computer. This is just my assumption, please correct me if this isn't the case.
The real solution is to install a 32-bit driver on the XP machine that uses the same name that the 64-bit driver and share a printer using this driver or find a 64-bit driver that uses the same name as the 32-bit driver installed on XP and install the driver on XP.

When I try to install Windows 7 on my Toshiba computer formatted I get this error message after trying to install the RAID driver during the installation process:
"Windows cannot install to the selected location. "Error: 0 x 80300001.
I'm unable to proceed with the installation. Can someone please?
Hi Jon,
This error can occur during a clean Windows 7 install the operating system installation media is not in the drive. This happens usually when a user is necessary for the exchange of discs in order to install the necessary drivers on the system and the operating system disks were not placed in the drive before proceeding with the installation.
The error would not occur if the Setup program has been started using a USB key as stable media would not be switched.
The solution would be to change the driver CD or DVD of Windows 7 install DVD media when this happens, then we can continue with the installation of Windows 7. In this particular case, it is likely that the RAID driver disk has been left in the drive.Note: This problem/error appeared less in Windows Vista since a message asking to specify the installation media usually as follows:
"Please insert the disc 1 installation of Windows.

Why the DVD of Win7 installation does not install network controller?
I described my adventure with a virus earlier. At one point, I went to Micro Center and bought a new drive for Win7 Home Premium install. The installation seems to be going OK, but when it's over, I wasn't able to get on the net because the driver for the network controller was not installed. I made 3 attwempts, but all have failed for the same reason. Why? As far as I know, Microsoft does not ship any DVD W7 with the missing files, and I believe that the disk cannot be written and corrupted, so why these files not installed? Does anyone have a similar experience?
Maybe it's a new network controller, which Windows 7 has not built in the class driver for. You can go to the website of the manufacturers on the computer you are using now and download the driver.

I recently installed Windows 7 on my hp envy 700-414 and missing a lot of pilots. A user by the name of banhiem gave me a link to download the drivers of a 700-230 hp envy. After I did it, I clicked on another link, it gave me to install the Realtek network controller. Whenever I tried to install the driver, it would tell me that I did not meet the requirements. Other drivers work fine now, except the network controller. The steps on how to fix this error would be greatly appreciated.
