Windows error report files
Two files (*.txt and *.dmp) error report are created when an application "has a problem" and are located in the Local Settings/Temp folder. These can be sent to Microsoft. If they are, they are immediately removed from the Temp folder.
I would like to send them to the developer of an application to help resolve a failure to properly load the application. How can I do this?

Should I delete "by user pending windows error reporting" in disk cleanup?
Hi, I'm using Vista Home Premium and this is my question.
'by user windows error reporting pending"on my performances of more than 16.5 GB so disk cleanup I think delete. I checked the forums window says it's a bug and will mess up my data if I did. But the answers were pretty old (2007-beginning of 2009). My laptop is just upgraded to service pack 2. So I don't know whether or not this so-called bug has already been fixed. Should I delete it or just leave it there? Will it continue to grow if I don't do anything? I read some messages and some said that it has increased to more than 100 GB.
Thank you.
Hello
If you encounter any problems, then you can use Disk Cleanup to remove all error reports and
dump files.I hope this helps.

Vista - system queued windows error reporting problem
My Vista disk cleanup utility reports that I can save 258GB by removing "system queued windows error reporting." Well well... my HD is only 145GB so somethiing is bad.
I read a url that has a fix: http://www.oamate.com/is-it-safe-to-delete-system-queued-windows-error-reporting.html
Is this a correct solution? Looks like it's a bug of Microsoft for you, but I can't find anything about this on the Microsoft.com site. In this forum, there is a thread that says it's OK to dele it, but I don't want to lose all my data!
Thank you
Its ok to delete the data in queue for the error report windows.
In the event of a hardware or software problem on your computer, Windows collects information that describes the problem, called a problem report. Report details can include, for example, the name of a program that has stopped working, the date and time that a problem occurred, or the version of the program, which has encountered the problem.
Sending a problem report allows Windows to notify you if a solution is available. If a solution is not available, you can ask to provide additional details about the problem in order to create a. Additional details can include files or parts of files that help to identify the problem and explain how it has affected your computer. Windows does not intentionally collect personal information, and you can view additional details in a problem report before sending it to Microsoft.
If you want to disable this feature, follow the steps mentioned in the link below

hope this helps

How much later?
Hi Bob,

Windows Error Reporting service connection failed
For some unknown reason to me, the Windows Error Reporting service has decided that it cannot send crash reports to Microsoft.
I get the above error when I try to "Find a solution" review problem reports dialog. 'Try again later' does not work. I've tried several "recommended fixes' including digitization of system files corrupted, by ensuring that the WER service is running, and check firewall issues. Reports of incidents used to work, so I'm at a loss as to why this is happening. Can someone shed light on the possible cause?
Hi BaradaNikto,
Thanks for the reply.
Before you repair your operating system, you can purge all existing reports by using the disk cleanup utility, and then see if you get the error.
For the instructions, you can consult this article. Delete files using disk cleanup
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup
If this is not enough, please answer with the information asked Gerry C J Cornell , which will help us to solve the problem.

Hello
When I present reports of error and asks me to send additional information, I get the above error. I have read and tried all the solutions already asked for this problem except for the removal of error reports (because if I do that, how could they be downloaded for analysis?)
Just to confirm, I have:
Restarted with a clean Windows with only Microsoft services running and no boot entry and retried the upload.
A ran the SFC system without any problems.
Insured to the logs and alerts are allowed through the firewall and temporarily disabled my virus scanner traffic analysisThe persistent questions seem to be Google Reader goes down, and several accidents related to my AMD video driver.
Hope you can help.
Hi Kyle,.
Did you do any change in software of hardware on the computer before this problem?
You can read the following steps and check if it works.
Method 1:
Check if error reporting is enabled.
For do I suggest you check if error reporting service Windows has stopped working. Try to start the service by following the steps below:
a. click Start> type of search in the servicesbox, press enter > find windows error reporting service in the list of the list of services > right click , and then click Start.
(b) also to run the service as Auto, please follow the steps below.
c. right-click on the service from the list of windows error reporting services and then click Properties > there will be a pop-up screen > check for startup type and select Automatic under drop down menu and apply the settings.
Note:
The purge will remove the existing report but if the problem reappears to collect the reports again and you will be able to move forward with the process of reporting errors.
Purge all existing reports by using the disk cleanup utility, and then see if you can send information to the server of problem reports.
Refer to this help article.
Delete files using disk cleanup
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup
Method 2:
Please refer to Google Drive Known Issues, you can also ask your question in the support of Google using Google Drive question forums.
For the problem with the AMD video driver, you can try to update the drivers for the latest on the manufacturer 's Web site and check if that helps.
To know better the question you can always check the event viewer details related to the issue.
With the event in the Event Viewer logs, you can get information about your hardware, software and components of the system and monitor the events of security on a local or remote computer. Event logs can help you identify and diagnose the source of current system problems or help you predict potential system problems.

I get these since I installed MSE this time on Windows 7 and also on my most old laptop with Vista. I see that it is not critical, but I don't know what the problem is. I have not found a problem when the MSE is scanning or protect my computer.
Is this serious and I want to do something more? If someone can tell me how to investigate this type of info in case the Viewer, I would be happy.
Thanks for any help.
Joanne
Hi Joanne,You have any anti-virus or anti-malware to third party software installed with MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials)?I wouldn't think it's serious, but a mistake is a problem regardless of its gravity. However, I would like to you follow these steps and check to see if they help.Step 1:I would like you to put your computer in a clean boot State in order to eliminate any conflict of third party software causing the problem to occur. I suspect the involvement of a third-party software.Note: Please follow step 7 to your computer as usual after the test.Step 2:Note: Be sure to only install the version appropriate for your operating systemSee also:What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?

Problems with Windows Error Reporting
I have Vista Home Prmium with SP2 on a dual processor computer heart. wermgr.exe is running in the background and when he does he can linger around for awhile while using 50% of my CPU all the time. He passes in and out the Task Manager, so that the CPU usage is constantly bounce up and down. I tried to disable the windows error reporting service, but it does not work. I read it could be a problem with 2007, but Office and this race Diagnostics would take care of the problem... but the diagnosis has not found a problem. Does anyone have an idea what I can do to fix this? Or y at - it a way to really disable the error reporting service?
Thank you
Here's how to disable Windows error reporting in Vista: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/7863/disable-error-reporting-in-xp-vista-and-windows-7/; However, it is not recommended because it can be a useful tool if you are having problems. That "s your decision to make.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
