Windows failed validation gunine

Hello

I tried to install MSN Messenger and followed the steps provided by the Microsoft team. However, I was unable to install the update and when I went to allow all users to find the solution online and restart my computer that occurred the following:

I connect and a 'windows software protection' box on a completely black background. The message in the Inbox is:

"An unauthorized change was made to windows.

Windows found a change which will result in limited windows functionality. Click on the link below to know how to repair windows

  1. Learn more online
  2. Close (it disconnects the computer)

When I click on the first button, it opens to http://www.miscrosoft.com/genuine/
I then validate windows and the following message 'copy of windows has failed the genuine validation. I am then provided with the solution, but I would need access to the start menu, but I only have a black background.

Please, please help me find a solution for this that I need my computer to work properly for me to do my job.

Thank you

Then, as I have also said, tell me your location (country) and I look at the number of calll activate manually.  Remember, the product key is an alphanumeric code 25-digit 5 sets of 5 digits separated by hyphens: everything else is something else and not the product key.  If you use the product key on the label on the computer, then it must validate even if you must do it manually.

The start menu is opened using the round ORB in the lower left of the lower task bar on the desktop.  You can not access the screen activation without going through the start menu as I know - although I've never let my computer lose activation, so it may work a little different when that happens (but I have understood that it reduces the features but still allowed what what need to activate the system).  If you get only an activation dialog box, and then continue through the automated process and you must be transferred to the manual process where you can browse the guests until you talk to a human being who willl help you.  Remember, the code that appears in the start menu / computer / system properties / Activation once the machine is turned on is NOT the product key - I don't know what it is, but it has no value in the reactivation of the product.  And the code that is produced by the activation system is not the product key and cannot be used for activation.  You need the code that I described above.

If the iis code not authentic (maybe not on a label or simply wrote down, - may - with a mistake - or be misread on several occasions), then you will have trouble activating manually or automatically.  When you say it "does not activation" you mean you can not activate automatically or that you contacted the Group activatition by telephone, gave them the code, and they told you that it was not authentic?  If the first case, do it manually as described above. If you are unable to start, then you are wrong about something else with your system and more of a problem with the activation.  Use the computer that you are to get the number and then go to the computer of the problem to talk to them.  If this last, then post it on the genuine advantage Forum listed above and provide him with what they ask and they will test your product key and what they ask and will tell you if it is or is not genuine/valid (and why this isn't if it's not) - so if that is the case, you will know why, it's that you cannot activate.  If this is the case, you have a problem, because without a genuine product key, you cannot activate.  At this time, contact you and discuss the problem with the computer manufacturer and see if they can do something to help.  Sometimes, the recovery disks they sell does not require you to enter an activation key and who can fix the problem (even if it will cost a small fee and you must confirm that before buying the records and you will need to do a clean install to fix the problem).

There is no deception going on here.  I suspect that you could use an incorrect code (maybe read incorrectly - use a magnifying glass if necessary) or there may be another problem with your system.  If you use a software to get the product code of the system (such as Belarc) rather than the code on the label so if the operating system has been installed by the manufacturer, the code in the system is probably their master image code and not the one assigned to you and you need to use the speciiquement that you are assigned.  If you installed a retail OS version, the system is the same as that supplied with the product and something like Belarc can get it back (if you can get the program installed and running with reduced functionality).  If you used the code for a year or so and all of a sudden, you get this message, so I think there is nothing really wrong with the code and everything just reactivate manually may solve the problem and discuss the issue with experts of validation in the other forum will address the real problem.

There is nothing else I can do or say.  I don't know why this is happening to you, but it's of course and what I said in this post and messages of before is the only way out of the situation.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

Yes the sticker of the product keys match the diagnostic report. I've been running this product for more than two years and now all of a sudden it is not valid?
I recently had a problem with hard drive with this machine and had to reinstall the system and restore data from a backup. Is it possible that this has some how changed the PID at the origin of this problem?

If I have no choice but to buy a new OS can spend to Win 8 or will I run into a question?

As I said before, "No matter how long he ran 'okay'..." »

Copies MSDN work very well - until Microsoft discovers that they have been used in a way not scheduled (they are sold by unscrupulous people who probably to sell at an attractive price in comparison to other copies - a lot of people don't care about questioning why they might be cheaper.)  Others may sell at the same price and make more money before disappearing).

You have an MSDN copy.  Your PID has not been changed by restoring the backup.  ;-)

You can try changing your product key of Windows 7 than on the sticker:
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/osproductkeys/HT/change-Windows-7-key.htm

Then try to activate by phone:
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/18715-activate-Windows-7-phone.html

And come back to report to what past.

What operating system do you have on the laptop before? You can get a Windows 8 upgrade for that - but I would not honestly - recommend it because the difference is quite obvious and you haven't checked your software and hardware is supported on Windows 8, I know. My recommendation for Windows 8 is to use * if * the system you have came from the manufacturer with it pre-installed. :-)

  • Windows search Windows failed to start the service on the Local computer

OK, so it's a big, dirty and convoluted issue, so please bear with me. Any help is greatly appreciated! I start tearing my hair out on this one...

    I'm on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
UAC is set to the lowest level 2

The other day I have problems with the search box in the start bar. It is more was to find excel or other office applications and also he wouldn't orders base as cmd or Notepad. Whenever I run a command it returns an error like this (not exact because I have the exact error message):

Windows cannot find ': search query = cmd'

I searched a little and tried to rebuild the index in Control Panel > Indexing Options. It does not work so I uninstalled Windows Search and reinstalled. What I found now, is that the indexing service would not start and if I tried manually start from services.msc I would get the following error:

Windows search Windows failed to start the service on the Local computer
Error 161: the specified path is not valid

The event log showed me this Application error:

    Cannot initialize the Gatherer service.

    Details:

    Help!

    Thanks Samhrutha.
Your proposed solution of editing the registry is the only solution I found to this day and still work.
The only drawback that I want to emphasize is that this fix causes completely reset to its default settings of windows search.  Customizations to search what have been done by the user (e.g., windows search indexing user customizations options) will be lost.

I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and occasionally experienced the same error message ( windows cannot find ': search query = XXX ", where XXX corresponds to my search query) try to search through windows when start menu search box.

Only recently, however, discovered one other cause possible/fix to this problem.
Specifically, I discovered that the error of windows search resulting from the ADDITION of a NETWORK LOCATION on the local computer (for example, via the menu option "Add a network location" that appears when you click the file menu in a window of windows Explorer displays the contents of the local computer (corresponding to the "COMPUTER" icon). The CENTER of my computer SYNC settings have been defined to disable the synchronization of network or file 'offline' and I suspect that this setting is also part the cause of the error of research.

To resolve this problem, simply tell windows search not to include the 'network' location in the search index.  To do this, one needs to access the settings of the windows search INDEX LOCATIONS (via Indexing Options-> change), then uncheck the box next to the network location (which on my computer starts as follows: oneindex: / / {s-1-5-21...)

After unchecking this box, click on the OK button and then CLOSE the button to exit the Options of Index window.  After that the error message should hopefully not return.  If so, try restarting the computer and research to test again.

    Hope this helps!

    :)

I Googled, it resembles a known problem in Adobe but I got are the fix for Adobe Flex development.

How can I fix for SDK Webworks?

    Thank you

This is usually caused by people simply crush their old AIR SDK installation instead of using a brand new installation of it and using our Installer. When you installed the SDK latest were you pointing to a pure install 3.1?

I turned on my laptop today and started the usual startup process.
    Toshiba - logo (press F2, F12)
    -Green windows loading bar

Then the laptop displays a black screen and nothing happens.
When I turned off the laptop and turn it on again I get a message saying "windows failed to load" then it gives me options to run windows normally or run restore windows.
Restorations of Windows does not work when I try to run it.

This already happened to me, and I had to use my backup restore CD to restore the laptop to originial. I want to try to solve the problem for good, if possible, though.

I don't want to have to restore the phone whenever that happens and risk losing data.

The laptop works fine when it is plugged in at all times.
Twice now, happened when the laptop has been disconnected from the mains and the battery is running out of power.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can start Windows in safe mode?
If yes try to roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool.

You have to understand that we don't know what are you doing with your laptop and what may be due to such behavior.

[1] [of Spybot's Tea Timer is] Enabled

[2] I was running AVG previos version and previous version of Comodo until the current version of Comodo conflicted with AVG...

A1. Please disable the Tea Timer of Spybot and leave this option unchecked for now. See http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=32409

NB: If you don't fully understand what Tea Timer does and how it does, leave it off in a way permanent.

A2. Comodo Internet Security includes an antivirus application. You should NOT have more than one 1 installed anti-virus application & loading at startup. You tell me that you used to have Comodo Internet Security (antivirus, antispyware, firewall) AND AVG Free anti-virus installed at the same time?

PS: Let us a favor & edit your first post above: replace KB2479268 KB2479628typos. Thank you!

All of a sudden, I get a message windows needs validation. When I try to make this get message that it is not authentic.

I had this XP for a few years and it is very certainly authentic.
    Help would be appreciated

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
