Windows is more authentic?

I got an email from Dell telling me theres a few problems between them and microsoft, and I need to contact them to get my vista enabled and substituted until I lose the full functionality. I called the regional center of contact for activation and selected to speak to a customer service representative. He said then I'll be put to the line is quiet for 3 minutes then the call is finished... is there another way to get in touch with them until I lose functionality?

Thank you however none of the above worked. I spoke earlier about microsoft who gave me a new key because there was something wrong with mine...

New but problem! 3 days on the line with all the new updates as SP1 Inc. installed, I have a command prompt to run the tool Validation of Windows. Doing it now says my OS as 'not true' (Build 7601).

I used the product key of my OEM (HP) copy (see picture) and the article of tech, it should have been OK. the contects to card diagnostics are detailed below.

A common cause of this is if the installation is not authentic in the first place often (unbeknownst to the owner).

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop -http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool

  • Windows 7 is more authentic after system update...

    Hi guys & gals,

I see this problem has been posted to many, but I saw that each case may be different and deserves so its own post...

    Recent Background
I just install minor updates of system for Windows 7 Home Premium and restart, it seems that my copy of Windows appear more authentic.

    The last few months
About 6 weeks ago, I replaced the hard drive of my laptop with an SSD alternative. As my laptop came with Windows pre-installed, but did not contain a Windows installation disc, I tried to clone the content of the hard drive. It did not work so I downloaded Windows 7 from the Microsoft site and some software to find the key in my system. I used this key to activate Windows and everything worked without problem until today.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
    Sam

Looks like you used a disc at retail to install with the OEM SLP key. An OEM SLP key works with your media recovery of manufacturers. (an OEM SLP key can be activated by normal means).

the simple solution is to change your product key to the one on your COA.

Friend upgrade XP to windows 7. not authentic Windows message receipt.  Buy Windows 7 and downloaded to "fix the problem". Computer crashed, but I got a new drive. Should I try install

    Hello

So the Windows 7 machine is fine, but its also empty! That we can help you. The XP machine is another matter. If you want to upgrade these machines to Windows 7, and the minimum hardware requirement is met, you can buy discs of software of Windows 7 operating system for each machine (1 motherboard = 1 license for purchased software).

In addition, I highly recommend you reformat two machines for them to XP RID completely, not to mention viruses / malware. If you plan to update the two XP machines with own versions of XP, that's fine, but this isn't the forum for this, the Windows XP forum would be the place, go here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp?tab=QnA .

Thus, the machine to Windows 7. To take no chances. Allows to run several scans on the new machine. You said "didn't work any more", I suppose you can't start Windows, ways to correct? If so, the answer is a program you burn on a CD called BootMed; Download 64-bit here: http://download.cnet.com/BootMed-64Bit/3000-2094_4-75450831.html and the 32-bit version from here: http://download.cnet.com/BootMed/3000-2094_4-75448200.html (only use the Direct download link).

Once downloaded, burn it to a CD, load this CD in Windows 7 computer and ensure that the CD drive is the first boot device, restart the computer. This will load a modified version of Ubuntu on your system, which includes antivirus and anti-malware programs. Run and remove anything they find. When they have finished their trial scans restarting the computer without the CD installed. What happens now?

Post your results here and let me know how you fare.

  • Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

    Hello

I have a very simple question:

Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

I explain why I need to do this:
I can watch DVD files or .avi with my computer and VLC, that allows to adjust the volume to 100%. Some DVDs have a very low sound. So if I set VLC to 200% volume and the system volume to 100%, I can watch movies in good sound conditions. Then, my computer speakers are strong enough for me watching a movie.

However, I have a problem with VSD: I use VOD with Windows media player and that player does not allow me to adjust the sound to more than 100%. So I put the sound of Windows media player at 100%, the sound of Windows to 100%, but the sound is very low.

Please don't tell me to buy speakers, mine are pretty strong, and I find it uncomfortable to plug the speakers.

Please don't tell me to use a software that increase the volume of the file I want to watch VOD.

Is there a way to increase the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

Please don t tell me this, please don t tell me that. You want to hear other people's opinions or what?

AFAIK all sound level settings in Windows are synchronized and if you change the sound level in the properties of the speaker at the same level will appear in the Windows for the Volume Mobility Center and the maximum level is 100%. No more than that.

As you already wrote the sound level can be increased in combination with Windows and some players.

Is there any other way to watch these videos, but using WMP?

  • BIOS updated on Windows 7, now it is more 'authentic '.

I've recently updated the BIOS on my motherboard because I had pretty severe physical problems. These problems have disappeared, but now as of July 8, Windows 7 cannot determine whether it is genuine or not. I have no doubt that it is authentic, because this particular PC also comes with Windows 8 Pro but pre-installed with Windows 7 Pro. However, I've looked everywhere and I don't have COA for Windows 7 Pro either. I guess that's because it's OEM SLP. There is however a real sticker to Windows 8 Pro on pc it's led me to believe that Windows 7 Pro is not wrong either. Is it possible to upgrade my BIOS was what triggered this sudden "non-genuine" question? Is it possible that this was SLIC activated with what was the old BIOS version or I leave completely here?

Honestly, I don't know where to go with that because my computer tech support was not helpful at all and I prefer not wipe my computer and install Windows 8 only for her to have the same issues, if it is due to the upgrade of the BIOS.

Here are the diagnostic report I received help from the tool that Microsoft provided. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Hi Trisha,

Please provide detailed information about your question.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. Are you a specific error code with the message "this computer is not running genuine windows?
    2. What is the activation state in the System Properties window? Is he showing active or non-active?

Normally after upgrading BIOS you should not get this serious issue on your computer. However, I would like to confirm with you that is your computer showing Windows activated in the System Properties window or not. For more information, you can consult the steps and the screenshot below.

    • Click Start.
    • Right-click on computer.
    • Select properties and below page will open.
    • Check the activation status.

If you encounter a problem to activate Windows, then please refer to the suggestion and steps described in the following article and see if it helps.

    Activate Windows on this computer

Keep us updated on the issue and we will be happy to help you further.

    Kind regards

  • Windows 7 is more authentic after 2 months.

Long story short: my Windows 7 is more real after 2 months of use. I bought the computer from a recognized seller and this seems to have not been a problem. Windows Update has always worked and has always passed verification for all the MS downloads.
Aside: About 1 month ago, I updated the current HARD disk to a DDI and copied the entire cross and abandoned the HARD drive. Everything worked very well (updates and all) until the day or 2 ago.
I browsed the forums and tried to make sense of the MGADiag but nothing helped.
    Any idea?

I bought the computer from a recognized seller and this seems to have not been a problem

seems to me that you have bought from a crooked salesman.
you have an Acer OEM SLP key on a motherboard retail. An OEM SLP key should communicate with slic table specific manufacturer yourself is to activate it. A motherboard retail is not a slic table. (this key works only on a win 7 compatible motherboard Acer.)
You can buy a genuine windows.
OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates.
