  You don't say how you are trying to install XP and if the manufacturer of your computer has XP drivers available for this purpose to activate XP to be installed and run successfully on this subject.

  The only way was to take the advice of others here, and then we had to also remove all the data, we wanted to record on a secure hard drive, write and find all programs, reformat the whole, perform all updates of Windows, reseating all programs (MS Office, 3DO, Adobe, etc...) and recover data from the hard drive secure.

  I still run Windows Vista Ultimate Pro and not passed to Windows 7, but I just saw that Windows 8 is out, so what's the point? I'll probably wait for Windows 9 or 10 before the upgrade, because they seem to change every year and now my Vista running great, until I update each.
