  • Windows Live Mail - unexpected errors

My installation of Windows Live Mail has at least several messages in its list (as in the Inbox and another folder, I checked) that aren't really there.  They are not in the data store, when I try to view or to delete them I get an "unknown error".   (I forgot the exact error, but I don't want to risk an accident if it occurs.)

I can say Windows Live Mail to recreate its views based on what is really in the files?  Where is it?

The program hangs when it tries to compress the files (likely because he hit the messages that do not really exist), who usually finds himself now completely destroy my current accounts and leave him with only one or two things, almost like a basic installation.

    It's very annoying.

Please ask in the correct forum - one for Windows Live Mail. • Windows live mail and messenger crashing

    Hi all

For the past month, I've had problems with live mail and messenger crashing. Direct mail will crash usually due to my authenticated the first time, but most of the time I'll be able to connect successfully without it crashing if I start using Live messenger. Live messenger seems to hang whenever I try to message from a person too.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it does not help. On the search for answers here, I tried a few things like the search for programs that I have installed which can create clashes since the problem started but not lucky yet. The option "search for a solution" that is displayed with the error log never returns suggestions and the program just closes.

This is the error log I had received today:

    "Signing of the problem:
    Problem event name: APPCRASH
    Application name: wlmail.exe
    Application version: 14.0.8089.726
    Application timestamp: 4a6ce53d
    Fault Module name: UXCore.dll
    Fault Module Version: 14.0.8064.206
    Timestamp of Module error: 498cdee0
    Exception code: c0000005
    "The exception offset: 0007168e.

I am running Vista and Avast antivirus (this last I did turn for a lot longer than the problem in place).

Any help on this frustrating problem would be great!

  • How to restore missing "show the menu button" in Windows live mail?

I want to use the bar hidden in Windows live mail, but the "Show menu bar" button is missing.  It should be between the stylus buttons and helps, but isn't. In fact the pen button is also absent, but the help button is there.

  • I can't open Windows Live Mail

Here is the information that I posted on the forum Windows Live but have had no success to date to get answers. Please note that I tried to uninstall Windows Live Mail and running registry cleaner to remove invalid registry keys after uninstallation of the mail.

    Summary of the issue
I can't open Windows Live Mail

What version of Windows Live Mail do you use?
    Version 2011 (15.4.3508.1109)
    Choose your operating system version:
    Windows 7
How long have you been unable to sign in?
    More than a day
Enter the exact error that you are experiencing:
Windows Live Mail goes to State "Not responding" immediately after opening.

    Additional details

When WindowsLive Mail opens, it enters a State "Not responding" immediately. The only button that accepts the interaction is 'Close' or 'X '. I wonder if I want to "search for a solution and close the program." When I select this, nothing comes and the program closes. He had no major event, (for example accidents or installation of the software), before the problem started, and the program worked fine for at least 6 months. I pasted the description that is given on the "does not" close the window below:

  • Windows live mail (receiver sending suspended

    Hello

I added a new account to Live mail but I need to keep the old account, as I have a lot of emails arranged in folders so that I can return them.  I must however have tried to send a new email to send instead of my account newly set up using the old account. Now when hit send/receive it just hangs saying she "runs."

I deleted the items in the Outbox and no difference.

I'd appreciate help on this point - in short to delete my old account.

I managed to take off line (I had already deleted Outbox)...

You must open the Outbox again after you be disconnected; messages that cannot be sent should return here, probably marked as read.

If you don't see always not the message complained to delete, close, open a window of the Explorer (Windows key + E), copy and paste this line in the address bar and press enter:

    %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows live Mail\Outbox

Delete whatever it is in the folder, then launch Windows Live Mail again.

  • Windows live mail will not start.

This problem started a week ago. The screen just hangs but I see the new mail icon in the taskbar.

Then I have to go into the Task Manager and delete the exe command to stop it.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, various 'solutions' suggested on forums online, such as updated drivers for the video card and a downloaded fix, but nothing worked.

Grateful for any ideas what to try the following as at present I can't access my emails except by going to the site of ISPs.

  • Windows Live Mail - Windows 7 x 64 - Message is not found - rebuild the base messages or index

I searched using keywords and it seems that it is a subject unanswered. I went from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail (copyright Microsoft) and follow the instructions available for importing messages. I have a large number of messages, duplicate messages, which appear as "Message cannot be found.". The contents of this message cannot be found. "I expect that the index of messages must rebuild. However, I can't find any reference to an "index" in itself. I see discussion based on messages and can locate this file. Other 'answers' indicate that I should delete and rebuild this "store" but no instructions for the process of supply. Also, they do not indicate whether this "shop" is a hint or something else. Before you delete a file and hope that WLM it will rebuild, I would like more confirmation that these are the correct procedure to follow. Can someone who has really developed WLM provide some sort of support for the right way to fix everything that is causing these error messages?

  • How to import my AddressBook and emails from Windows Live Mail 2011 in Thunderbird?

My new ISP had problems with Windows Live Mail so I'm now using Thunderbird for the first time. I've never used T-bird before so keep the simple instructions.

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say.

Apparently, the choices are slightly different after 5 years. "Import all messages from a directory '

In the toolbar, click address book. On the Tools menu, select Import and specify the file type.

I'm talking about opening a CSV file in a spreadsheet hereto clean up the columns and positions because it is much easier to use tools of import from Thunderbird to make. (they crack on this task)

  • Cannot create the e-mail account, but can with windows live mail

I have a thunderbird e-mail account will not create just I have contacted my ISP and I have all the correct settings, but every time that I get a message saying. Thunderbird could not find your e-mail account settings. but on my other email account with thunderbird Charter set up very well. but when I used the settings to configure the email account in windows live mail, it worked. My ISP told me that this is a problem with thrunderbird. can someone help me please.

Not a problem with Thunderbird, a problem with your anti-virus crashes Thunderbird to access internet.

the configuration of the Charter is here https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/charter.net

Thunderbird can not find, if it cannot connect.

Check the firewall component of the anri virus and make sure Thunderbird has full access to the internet.

  • How to import Windows Live Mail storage folders in Thunderbird

I am trying to import the .eml files that I have in storage files in WLM in Thunderbird. Of the help section on Thunderbird:

Windows Mail (.eml files) in Thunderbird import is enabled by ImportExport third-party add-on tools. Download and install this add-on to transfer messages from Windows Live Mail into Thunderbird.

However, import Tools is an as file and my computer (Windows 7) cannot open it. Although I found an online program that convert into something readable, my software virus identified the program as malware. Does anyone know a way to safely convert a file as something Windows can recognize and run?

Or y at - it another way to get this add-on to run?

You should have a new tab under tools at the bottom that says "import/export - tools".
You can watch modules / Modules to see if
ImportExportTools is installed and activated. The choice of installation it is probably fine as it is.
