I work with a Win7 machine and a user with a roaming profile.
The user configures Windows Live Mail with account information and is able to send and receive mail, until the computer is restarted successfully. After the reboot, all account information is lost and the e-mail client must be reconfigured.
Any suggestions?

Windows Live Mail error, contacts were not configured or downloaded...
I'm unable to load new Windows Live mail contacts, I have made the necessary changes to my email and takes off norton security to load the data and he always tells me that the contacts were not loaded, or the configuration was not loaded correctly. It asks that I reinstall...
I draw a blank after that. I never knew the problem completely, until recently when I log on my computer, it is constantly alert, WINDOWS mail failed to load contacts. I don't care too much about windows mail and except that now it gives me the alert whenever I connect.
Please help... I have read help suggestions for more than an hour yesterday and emptied of the question. I have been on this issue for 3 hours today, uninstall, tech microsoft suggests to make sfc / scannow and still problem persist. If you have a solution, I would be extremely grateful.
Y sandigo
Thank you

Original title: Email problems
Check with your e-mail provider on how the various SMTP (especially the port) settings must be set to confirm that everything is correct. But, take a look at this setting and try to change it if necessary to see if it helps.
WLMail open
Right-click on the name of the email account
Click 'properties '.
Click the [servers].
"my server requires authentication" is checked?
If it is not try to delay it and
and see what happens then. Note that you may need to click the [Settings] button to enter the necessary info he needed.

Microsoft Exchange Server configured in Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail
Hello.
We just got a new laptop and I am trying to set up my e-mail account, as it was on my old. For work purposes, I use the Microsoft Exchange Server because my work has us using OWA. This way I can sync with my home outlook client and then synchronize with my portable devices. The new has Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. As regular mail doesn't seem to have all the updated proxy in place, I tried on Live Mail.
I can't get set up on one or the other.Am I missing something?
So, I buy a laptop for $800, which includes the $150 for microsoft office home for students and teachers only to have to go and buy an Outlook for an additional amount of $100.
At least I'm taking a class 3 credit Post-grad at the present time through University and I have a .edu email address there.
The Ultimate Steal - Office Ultimate for students-$60 if you take at least one class of credit.5 and have a .edu email address.Windows needs to stop trying to improve things for people. Things have been good before!

I was not able to find all the options that allow me to associate IE8 of Yahoo Web Mail, such as when a web site tries to invoke the windows associated with e-mail client to send an email, it opens Yahoo mail.
I was able to get to the point where he would not try to open Outlook more - but now it opens a web version of microsoft mail (I think that Windows Live mail). It doesn't seem to be a way to associate even the URL web mail Yahoo with IE8.
Any thoughts?
Windows Live Mail is a desktop client, not Webmail.

Try to configure Windows Live Mail
I entered my e-mail address and set up a password and when I open Windows Live Mail it asks me to download the files, but when I press this button a box appears rejecting my login information. I tried to re - set the password, but it's always the same. Then I tried to add another email address that I use, and when I tried to enter the original webmail to see the sent password... I can not enter in that either. He said the password was reset by Google or other application, but none of the passwords I've used does not work. Help please!
You use the POP or IMAP protocol?
You use the authentication step 2?
What is the exact error message?
etc, etc, etc...
You have enabled authentication step 2?I suspect what happens is that you use always the global account password and not the built application password. You will always get mail until you connect the device (which is a good idea in any case) and then you'll need generate a password (on the pc in outlook.com) and 'trust' of the mobile device. After what he should not do that. You must open a session and go here https://account.live.com/securityprivacy/overview to do.
Alternatively, you can install the outlook application, so whenever you need an "access code", you can approve it directly on the mobile device.Read the FAQ about 2 step here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/two-step-verification-faq
