Windows Live Movie Maker - audio editing
My newbie question: I understand how to split the audio track of the film. However, whenever I try to delete half useless, the entire song or sound effect disappears. How to split in two, keep the first part and get rid of the second half useless? Thank you!

After clicking on the button "Split", place your cursor in the 2nd half that you don't want, right click, click on delete.

Windows Live Movie Maker - video editing MP4
I recently returned from a trip with some MP4 videos taken on my new GoPro Hero2. When I play videos in Windows Media Player they are sharp and crisp. However, when I load into Windows Live Movie Maker, they lose their resolution and become much less clear-cut. My intention was to W Live Movie Maker allows to cut videos and also (for some videos) to take snapshots of some of the images in the videos.
Can someone tell me if there a way to avoid the loss of resolution?t; Preview he in Movie Maker shows you a lower quality project of the record... When you save the movie to a HD definition should be comparable to the file of the GoPro Hero 2.

Windows Live Movie Maker is rendered my video funny
So I tried render(publish/save) a video of game I did and before I downloaded it, I noticed that it seems very rotten. I used the recommended setting when I visited, but it seemed wrong, so I used the "for the high-definition display' and he looked better, but pretty much the same. Everything that has a bit of a white outline around him and he was very pixelated, but when I go back to the original video, everything is perfect. He has not done this before, so I know that it is a problem. I tried all the options now and they all have this same white outline look to it. (BTW I record the mMnecraft Java game, and I use for PA do).

audio of my video is lost when I import into windows live movie maker, but can be heard when played in media player. video is from jvc camcorder handy, file type is: MOD (video clip)
Just because a file is played in Windows Media Player

left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and

Select "all to WMV" / OK...
Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...
That should do it...
Good luck...

What happened to the audio from .mov files in Windows Live Movie Maker?
I'm running on Windows Vista Edition family 64-bit. Recently, I downloaded Windows Live Movie Maker and have been playing with it. Can I import my camera Kodak .mov files. However, when I saw or save the movie, there is no audio or the audio has been accelerated so fast, you won't hear scratching noises. Other videos work properly. It's just the .mov files. Can I do to solve this problem?

Using Fraps, Windows 7 and Windows Live Movie Maker Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308).
Recording of sequences of video game in HD - 1680 x 1050 resolution. Gross .avi clips tagged in 1680 x 1050 display properties. When I open the clips in WLMM, black two vertical bars are added, even after the selection of widescreen (16:9) in the project tab.
Help, please!
You are welcome! I have two monitors so I'm past that 1600 x 900 resolution and messed with my video card settings that it was not as blurry (I have a nvidia geforce gtx460-NVIDIA Control Panel open in the taskbar - adjusts the size and position - office no scaling). There are black areas above and below the screen, but at least I can play and record in the correct resolution for HD videos.
Thank you to thank me
