Windows Live Photo Gallery is remove my photos

Whenever I crop my photos, they immediately and totally disappear from my database. The photos do not save the harvest or the original, and then when I try to call them back to the top, I can't find pictures anywhere. When I try to search the name of the file looking for hard disk, it says "an error prevents the photo is displayed.» Error code: 0 x 80010108. "And Yes, I still have a room on my hard drive. It's really aggravating. Help, please!

  • How to remove copies of photos from Windows Live Photo Gallery"

I have 3 or 4 copy of my photos in the live photo gallery Windows

How can I remove these copies without doing it one at a time

    Hello catnfuzz,

You will not be able to find duplicate files and delete everything automatically, the best way to get rid of duplicates in Windows Live Photo gallery would be to sort the files by name, compare and delete the files.

There are also several third-party programs that you help find the duplicate on the computer files, and delete them. I suggest that you use your favorite search engine and look for the file duplicate, find programs.

    DISCLAIMER OF THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE:

Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • My Windows Live Photo Gallery has been accidentally removed from

(continue from above) to my Vista computer as well as 2 000 images.  I found online that I had to load Windows XP Service Pack 2, before I could reinstall/restore my Windows Live Photo Gallery.  Why did you download an XP service pack 2 on a Vista computer.  Didn't want to screw up more than it already is?  Help please if anyone knows how I can recover my photo library program I would appreciate your help.  Thank you

Photo Gallery does not store the image files, it just reads the.  It's like a DVD player: give him the drive.

Even without Photo Gallery, all your image files is still in your photo folder (or anywhere where you keep your image files).

If you want to get pictures once again you can get it here: http://get.live.com

  • Re: Windows Live Photo Gallery. After that I published dozens of pictures I couldn't find them anywhere. It was mainly relief and cropping.

I imported the photos directly from my camera via a slot card on my computer HP using Windows Live Photo Gallery.  Then I separated pictures in files by physical location in my images. I then started to change each locale file and save it.  At least I thought I was keeping it in the same file.  When I open the file, I found that the photos that were not changed.  I then tried to copy a picture and paste in the same file, whence he came.  The photo copied and pasted OK but when I accepted the cropped image, he disappeared.  So, where are all my photos modified?

  • Windows live photo gallery: original photos lost the transfer to the new computer

photos to the new computer, and the originals have not been transferred as im guessing they're saved in the software/program that cannot be transferred.

If there is not a way to transfer original and edited photos to the new computer, is there a way to return all original with a single click, so that I can transfer the originals on my new computer?

    Thank you.

Thank you, you saved my originals... I copy paste, but can not work how to connect my pictures changed to the originals so that I can click on my modified photos and click on 'back '.

    Thanks again

    ===========================================
Sorry, but I don't have the exact solution for re - associate the
originals with edited versions.  The only thing I would like to know
to try would be to place the originals in the original Images
    folder on the new system.

Maybe... I say just that maybe if you copied the photo gallery
exclusive database of the old system and used it to replace
the database on the new system. (Just copy and paste the file in)
the appropriate on the new system folder, and when you see
... dialog box you want to replace? with? Select Yes.

Also... you could instead of replace your new database...
rename it... Pictures.OLD for example. So if the replacement
do not re - associate files... you can remove the replacement
and rename the OLD version in what it was and the Gallery
must be as it was before the change.

Depending on the version of your photo gallery might be the database
    Pictures.PD5, Pictures.pd6, Pictures.pd7...

The path to the version of Win XP is:

    C:\Documents and Settings\ > user name<\Local>
    Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Photo Gallery\
    Pictures.PD4, Pictures.pd5 or Pictures.pd6

    Windows Vista:

    C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
    Windows Photo Gallery\Pictures.pd4 or pd5 pd6

    Windows 7:

    Windows\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
    Windows Live Photo Gallery\Pictures.pd6

(Sorry, but I'm not sure of the path in Windows 8 but if you)
do a search for PD6 PD7, you should be able to find it.

The former article is a user experience
with the shifting of the database... maybe it would offer a few ideas:

  • I had so many problems with Windows Live Photo Gallery even if it is my fault, I use 3 Picasso and love it, is this ok

I'm so sick of spending half of my cope with the Windows Live Photo Gallery. I downloaded 3 Picasso and had no problems at all. I kept wlpg default - unafraid of. Any ideas on that? Thank you

If you like Picasa you can remove Windows Live Photo Gallery, if you want.
    (FWIW... I also like Picasa)

If you changed the photo in Windows Live Photo Gallery... the original versions
pictures... those that you would "Revert" to... are located in the following folder. "

    C:\Users\\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows Gallery\Original photos.

Windows Live Photo Gallery & Media have painted yellow & shades on all the pictures - please help!

saw some other blogs on this & entered my color management, the only thing I have is my camera is my Dell video & the use my settings for this device is not checked & the other profile setting is in the management of color LCD & conversion (default) value of ICC profiles.  I have not changed the settings on my pc with regard to color.  all programs that are not windows with my photo-based work only these two now have yellow (live media & photo gallery) & it's really annoying:(-je veux mon vieux téléspectateurs retour.)

  • How to uninstall Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Live Photo Gallery

I have both programs on my computer laptop Vista Home premium. The space is essential and I need to get rid of one of them - I would rather uninstall WPG. However, I failed to find a way to do it. The program does not appear in Control Panel and I searched for an answer without success so far. Can anyone help please.
    EllGeePee January 20, 2010

    Hello

While no program takes up a lot in terms of space, there are limits. Windows Photo Gallery is a native component of Vista, there is no option to uninstall. You use either it, or you don't. Windows Live Photo Gallery is a component of the suite of live software and must appear in the control panel of configuration/programs and features for removal.

If space is at a premium, there are better solutions:

    (a) get a drive bigger and transfer the installation. It's the best solution because it definitely eliminates the real problem.

    (b) not to store the data files on the hard drive, use a flash drive or external.

    (c) reduce the amount of space allocated to system restore (default is 15%) with the VSS command utility. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

  • Error 0 x 80070057 opening of Windows Live Photo Gallery

Trying to open the Windows Live Photo Gallery, I get error code 0 x 80070057. I removed and re installed the program several times but still does not work. But it does not work on my other laptop. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit on all laptops.

FWIW... Windows Live Photo Gallery has a database file
which may be damaged. (uninstalling / reinstalling WLPG)
    does not affect this file)

If you rename the file... it will force the photo gallery to create a
new database file the next time, it is launched and the Gallery
will be as it was the first time it was launched.

I'm not positive that this will solve the problem you are dealing with
But if you want to give it a try thefilename is... Pictures.PD6.

Just rename it to OLDPictures.pd6. This can cause you to
lose tags and metadata that are not rewritten on
    the photo files.

The path to the file is:

    Windows\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
    Windows Live Photo Gallery\Pictures.pd6

Pictures.PD6 is a file... the following article explains
    How to show hidden files:

Windows 7 - show hidden files
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/show-hidden-files

If this does not improve the problem... you can delete the
new file Pictures.pd6 and rename OLDPictures.p6 back to
Pictures.PD6 and the gallery should be as it was before.

  • Windows Live Photo Gallery will not open error message on the files in offline mode

When I try to open Windows Live Photo Gallery, I get the following error message. "One or more files that are included in the Gallery picture is in offline mode and photo library prevents from start. Delete files using Windows Explorer Photo Gallery offline or ensure that all records are online and try to start Photo library. "I moved and deleted some files so I don't remember exactly what I had where it is impossible to define to where he was. I don't know how I can remove the folders offline using Windows Explorer, are there other options.

    You can try this,

    Re-generate wlpg photo max,
