Windows media player playlist length

Simple question, however I couldn't find the answer anywhere (not in something, not online help)

In the old WMP, you could see the full length off your playlist. That is to say, if you play two songs from 3 minutes, you will see that it takes 6 minutes total.

But with the new WMP, this feature is no longer there, always I really want to see how long it takes on the lower right. Does anyone know how to get that back?

Hello, kwast

This information is displayed above the playlist in Windows Media Player 11. You will need to have the Playlist shown to see this information. You can activate it by clicking the second button to the left of the search box and click on view the list pane.

This was changed to the bottom in the next version of Windows Media Player.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Keep getting added to Windows Media Player Playlist songs

    Good day all!

Does anyone know how to keep the music files to be automatically added to the Windows Media player playlist.

When I play a song, it automatically goes to the playlist on the left side column. It is very annoying because I have to remove the column from the play list, the form of songs after each session.

  • I want to import music to Amazon Cloud Player for Windows Media Player playlist

Amazon Cloud Player, part of the Amazon online shopping store. A portion of their sales of music includes the download of tracks/albums M3. In addition, Amazon also offer a 'cloud storage type' purchased tracks that are accessible via the login and password and then played directly through your PC, mobile phone, ipod, laptop on the internet.

The purchased music is yours and you can download a file to your computer. Have tried it and can play directly through the 'clear-fi' software initially loaded by Acer and came with my computer. Impossible to find a way to direct to Media Center Library.

  • most of my Windows media player playlists have disappeared

Running Windows XP Home Edition, all updates installed, latest version of WMP 11.

Only four selections remain in the pane all selections. I used to have at least 20 custom created playlists as it appeared. No idea what happened to them and if I can get back them? I spent a lot of time in their creation.

Should I try restore my system to an earlier time to see if a recent update has created the problem? (I don't think that data problems are usually solved backwards in time, however, are they?)

Thanks to all of you who offers some suggestions!

  • How to copy the existing playlist on a sitck Flash USB or an SD card in Windows Media Player?

In WMP v12 on Windows 7, I can sync music from my library (Albums, etc...) without problem to USB Flash Sticks and micro SDHC card etc.  And I can copy Playlists on my MP3 player, no problem. However I can't copy playlists on any USB Flash stick or SDHC micro card. How is that possible?

    Hello

    ·         What is a normal playlist or AutoPlaylist?

    Method 1:

Check if the sync settings are correct. To do this, follow these steps.

    a. open Windows Media Player.

    b. click the arrow below the Sync tab, point to the device and then click Advanced Options.

    c. the Properties dialog box for your device is displayed. Tab sync, box start sync when device connects checkbox.

    d. restart the media player.

    e. the next time you want to sync, connect the device to your computer, click the Sync tab, and then click Start synchronization.

For more information, please see the link below: set up a device to sync in Windows Media Player:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/set-up-a-device-to-sync-in-Windows-Media-Player

    Method 2:

Add a device to sync in Windows Media Player and see if it helps.

    a. start Windows Media Player and connect your portable device into a USB port on your computer. A box of "Windows Media Player ‑‑ Device Setup" appears, showing that he recognized the device and provides an opportunity for you to name your device.

    (b) read how the player will sync your device, which is directly under where you type the name of the device. If storage of the device is more than 4 gigabytes, for example, and your library on Windows Media Player fits on this device, the player chooses automatic.

    c. selection of automatic syncing means that your device will reflect all your Windows Media Player library and it will do so that whenever it is connected. Click on "Finish".

    d. to synchronize only some of your library when the player chose automatic, you can choose what will sync when you open Windows Media Player. Click on the portable device in the right pane and drag the items you want to synchronize with this device.

    e. selection of a manual synchronization indicates that the player has detected that the portable device has no place for your entire library. Click on "Finish". Open Windows Media Player, select the portable device in the right pane and drag the items you want to synchronize with this device.

  • Playlists in Windows Media Player

Is there a way of WMP to determine which client a special track in my library appears on?

For example: apparently, I downloaded the song "Out of My Head" by Fastway some time ago, and as always I'm positive, I put it one of my Playlists 30 +, but now I can not find.  Any ideas?

    Hello

    Apologize for the delay.

By default, playlists are saved in the folder selections, that is located in the same folder that rip you your CD (generally, the My Music folder). You can access the reading list that will display the same.

  • Windows Media Player - print the contents of the library

    Hi guys

I have a pretty extensive library of music stored on my PC and run on Windows Media Player 11.

My wife just bought a new MP3 player and I want to select these pieces she wants synched on his device.

I want to do it is have a print to track quotes as they appear in the WMP library so that it can go through and mark the tracks you want she wants. At the moment I can't find a way to do this other than by entering a series of screen shots and pasting in Word.

Any suggestions there or the will of the screenshot is the only way.

I want to avoid having us as well sitting there scroll down the list and choose the tracks as they appear.
