Thanks in advance.
Hello
Use the CCCP codec as above and if you need for a particular file type, then after a

Windows Media Player will not play a. MOV file
I have a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 Professional and Windows Media Player will not play a '. MOV' video file completely (the video but not sound). I am told by Microsoft Windows Media Player will not play a MOV file, and I need Codec VLC add on or another player who will play MOV file. What is the best solution and if its for download a Codec VLC, then what is the best source?
Guess why? [ :-) ]
Types of files supported by Windows Media Player:
https://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992Which was probably that there was a lack of understanding between the container file and the codec here (in November 2013). He says he's a "MOV" does not mean that he plays with the same codecs as all other MOV files. ;-)

My Windows Media Player has stopped playing my torrent files. He plays music very well, but my movie files (torrent) will no longer play. I was watching a movie on this subject earlier and I clicked on something that I should not have and all the files stopped working! When my computer detects what happened it gave me this message:
A problem with Windows Vista
Windows Vista has stopped working properly. This problem has been resolved in Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1).
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

I use original Windows7 family Basic. My help also Win7 hb. My windows media player is not playing the videos 3GP but Win my friend ' media player playing the same video. What is the problem with my WM player? It is to this day...
Hello
Videos in 3gp format cannot be played directly on Windows Media Player. You will need a codec to play the video file. A codec is a software to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or a video. Windows Media Player and other programs use the codec to play and create digital media files.Method 1:You can check the link to see the guidelines on the issue.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/codecs-frequently-asked-questions
Method 2:You can use the link and check if you get the necessary codec to download based on the file type, you are trying to read.
http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx
Method 3:You can also use your favorite search engine to download and install a codec based on the file type, you must use.NOTE - using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

I am running Windows 7, 64 bit, home premium on a Dell Studio 1558 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4500-5100 graphics card and an Intel Core i3. It has 4 GB of RAM.
When I try to read files MTS using Windows Media Player I get the error message "your computer is low on memory. Quit other programs, and then try again,"even with no other programs running. Windows Media Player will play other types of video files without difficulty.
Any suggestions as to what can be the cause of the problem and how to fix?
TBH I'm not sure.
All I can say is on my desk, I have not loaded a pack of codecs only support of any kind and WMP12 plays my MTS files very well. Supported by this statement in Windows Media Player 12 is also capable of playing AVCHD formats (. ) M2ts et . MTS ). [13]" from - http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Media_Player and the fact that
in WMP12 - "Media files (all types)" MTS has listed as an acceptable format. My office has an AMD/ATI HD5670, and like I said seems to play.
- Have you tried to run a full anti-recent virus scan? If this isn't the case, update your antivirus program and run a scan full to see if it finds problems.
- Then try a sfc/scannow scan to see if it detects and fixes something.
- Just checked, you have installed WMP12? (it should be, but just a double check).
This type of problem (or similar) has developed before items such as http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-pictures/Windows-Media-Player-and-low-memory-issues/bb4bf226-8bd0-41A5-9eed-9be08e6d3bdb and http://www.TomsHardware.co.UK/answers/ID-1699934/computer-running-low-memory-Windows-Media-Player.html and some people said re-register the DLL of WMP files helped. Personally, I've never needed to test or try this kind cannot confirm.

Windows Media Player will not play files .avi or .mpg - Error Message: C00D1199
Windows Media Player won't play .avi or .mpg files; files which I know to be readable by Windows Media Player. In addition, this program has played these accurate files in the month of August. The files are readable on other programs. I searched other forums, but it is impossible to find an answer to this problem, except the recommendation of a codec - although I don't know how I have "lost" the codec in the past two months. Today, spontaneously and erratically, Windows Media Player recognizes the .mpg files, but not the .avi. Microsoft Security Essentials have installed and up to date, if it is not a virus. Have problems in other programs with the recognition of previously readable files. Not sure if it's related, so I'll post in separate... forums but I'll give you a link if you want to. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Center of Windows 7 media won't play audio or video files
A month ago, everything was fine, but then a wave of updates for Windows 7 has essentially killed my Media Center. It is no longer sees my audio files and gives me an audio error when I try to access the library. He sees my video files, but then gives me a video error. Still, Windows Media Player can play audio and video files. I have tried a system restore, went into the control panel and or power off the components of the system, ran the command prompt to use sfc/scannow, nothing helps. Anyway I can just clean the Media Center and download an uncorrupted version?

Thanks for posting the question in Microsoft Commuity!
We start with a few questions:
1 have had any changes made on the computer before the show?
2. What is the full and exact error message?
3. What is the format of audio and video files?
Method 1:
See the article and try to run the Troubleshooter:
Audio problems in Windows Media Center
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-audio-problems-in-Windows-Media-Center
This article also applies to Windows 7.
Method 2:
Update the latest Codecs and see if the problem still occurs:
Note: using third-party software or a link, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third party software or link can be resolved. Using third-party software or a link is at your own risk.
Method 3:
I would also suggest update you the audio and display drivers and check if it helps:
