Windows Movie Maker audio bug

I realized some songs on Fl studio 10 for my project. Whenever I do drag or import it it opens in the preview screen but emit audio its supported by Windows Movie Maker, it's a .wav file, and the strange thing is that the previous songs I produced worked but not this one. Help, please

Hello

If other songs work fine, then it is this individual song.

If you try to bring in other new songs, you experience the same behavior? If this isn't the case, then it's certainly the individual one song and it will need to be redone.

  • Windows Movie Maker audio/video synchronization problems

I am changing a video on Windows Movie Maker (5.1), and when I cut a piece of the file clip and trimmed other part beside him, some delay seconds started with the change. Only, it starts at one point and continued for the rest of the video. I need to solve this problem, and I'm terrible with computers. Can someone help me sort whatsoever?

It would be a massive help!

    Something to try...

For the timeline... trying to drag a second instance
video on the audio / music.

Right click / Mute the Audio track.

You can drag the file to the audio / music
left or right then maybe you can synchronize audio
    with the video.

  • Windows Movie Maker - Audio only, which plays in the exported project

    Hello.

I did a project in windows movie maker with video and audio files. Project perfect cheek (the two audio/video playback) in windows movie maker when I am in the phase "creation/editing. When I export it and save the project as a. MP4 or. WMV file and try to play in Windows Media Player, Quicktime or VLC, as the audio of my theatre project. There is no video. However, when I play the other. MP4 files or. WMV files via these media players, they play very well. So I think that the problem is with the export of the Movie Maker project. Also, thinking that I have perhaps incompatible video files to Windows Movie Maker, I tried just using Jpeg files with audio to create a slide show, thinking that it would work with standard Habitat. Yet once, however, that the audio is played with a project containing pictures (no video). Any ideas?

Audio was working fine, just no photos or video showing once the project has been saved as a movie. So, I tried your solution of creating a short slide show with photos only and no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled movie maker and still no luck. Downloaded the pack codek for windows 7 and still no luck.

So, I decided to download the Vista windows movie maker for my OS to windows 7 and everything works like a charm. Don't know how or why, but the version of Vista is flawless on my windows 7.

Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate the help.

  • Cannot import Windows Movie Maker Audio

I do a film for my parents ' anniversary and downloaded a song from Amazon.com to use with it. I hear the song on my pc, but I get a message "unidentified error" when I try to import it. The song itself is already in mp3 format, but when I called Amazon support they said I probably need to "encode" it and suggest that I have download an encoder. Don't know exactly how or where to find it. Suggestions as to how I can get the song on the film WMM? Thank you.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

    Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
    Music - wma, wav, wmv

Might be worth trying to convert your MP3 files to the
Format WMA before you import into Movie Maker.

There are to many free converters available on the net...
download from Koyotesoft is an example:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

(FWIW if you install the converter, you can
Uncheck offerings from Yahoo and Dealio) (also... you
may want to uncheck the CD Ripper and the Easy
    MP3 Cutter)

After installing the program... open and drag and drop
your audio files on the main screen...

Choose a backup folder (path of output). Or just leave...
"Save to the directory the file" checked and the new
files will be saved in the folder with the current files.

    Choose a format...

  • Problem with Windows Movie Maker - Audio is messed up

OK, so I'm doing a film, with the lyrics of a song. I put pictures of her and paired words. It worked fine for a few songs. Then when I went to make another, I imported the song, but the time of audio changes. I mean, it's that I can't say... 0:20 seconds in the song and it should play the same part of the song, whenever I go to 0:20 seconds. On mine, it keeps switching autour. I'll go to 0:20 seconds and it will play what he normally plays at say 0:15 seconds. Or I'll set it to 0:40 seconds and he will play the music to 0:20 seconds. That's when I jump to that point in the song. If I start from the beginning and let him play through, then he plays at the normal time to 0:20 or 0:40 seconds. But he messes up and plays the wrong thing when I skip some time that is not at the beginning. Does anyone else have this problem? How should I do? Should I uninstall WMM and redownload it? Or is it a thing of setting? Help, please! Thank you!

I had this same problem. Assuming that the music is your use of WMM in iTunes, follow this:

    1. open iTunes

    2. click on Edit--> preferences

    3. click on import settings

    4. in the drop-down arrow next to the import to help:, select WAV encoder

    5. press the OK button

    6. now click on the songs you want to use in WMM

    7. click on advanced and click on create the WAV Version.

    8. now, when you return to WMM, click on import Audio or music and go to your iTunes folder. Versions WAV songs you create must be there and when you import, you should have no trouble in :D

  • Windows Movie Maker audio and video is jerky.

IHAVE been doing a video with sound and because some of the clips are short, but equal in the time, when I play it back or try to save it... where the shorts are the audio part of the video is choppy. I wonder if there is a way to put something to get smoother?

I used photographs, in which I edit in photoshop and add text that is to edit each image, which seems to affect playback and recording. I'm doing a subliminal video with a soundtrack.

    Hello

    1. Update the codecs on your computer.
    2. Update sound card drivers.
    3. Try microsoft fixit: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

  • Windows Movie Maker won't play .mpg - files.

When I import a mpg file in Windows Movie Maker, I can hear the audio but can't see the video. It is particularly strange, because my mpg files work well in Windows Media Player.  What can I do? I have installed hundreds of codecs and it still does not work.

    Audio--> OK
    Video--> NO

Windows Media Player--> video + audio
Windows Movie Maker--> audio (NO video)?

    Hi tom,

Thanks for using the Community Forums of Microsoft for Vista.

Normally, something like that, the problem is resolved by downloading and reinstalling the latest MS codec packs.

In this case, however, I think the problem is conflicting codec installations.

I think you should start by restoring the system running and to cancel most of the codec installations. Go back to the extent that is reasonable and see if that helps.

If not, then download the latest codec for your multimedia player by Microsoft and see if that does the trick.

I think that will do, let us know whether.

  • Sync audio/video Windows Movie Maker problem

When you use Windows Movie Maker 5.1 to capture video from my Panasonic PV-GS39 DV camera, audio is 15 seconds ahead of the video.  Anyone know what is the cause or how to fix it?  No other programs are running at the time of the capture.

    Windows Movie Maker 5.1
    Windows XP Service Pack 3

It is difficult to say why Windows Movie Maker would be to have this problem, but my recommendation would be to eliminate it from the video capture process. There is an excellent free program called WinDV you can use to capture video on your computer, then you can change using Windows Movie Maker, once the capture is complete. Video capture questions can be exasperating. Along with other instructions of troubleshooting, I explain why you might want to use WinDV in a tutorial on video troubleshooting.

  • Why is there no source audio into Windows Movie Maker

When I decided to use windows movie maker again after 4 months latter. When I try to tell, he says "an unexpected error has occurred" and the Audio Input Source is missing. When I check to see if there were other Sources of entry there were not any and it was empty. The Audio device has shown. It also only allows me to post videos. It is said: check that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the backup location is still available and that there is enough available disk space and then try again. I use my Microsoft Lifecam V2000 and my VIA (WAVE). The Audio Input Source that I use usually is the stereo mixer. I downloaded Audacity and they both work very well.

    · You have sound on other programs?

    1. you may consult below the link that has information about the file formats supported it by Windows Movie Maker in Windows XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308464

    2. you can also reinstall Director on the computer and check:

    a. Insert the Windows XP CD

    b. navigate to the inf folder in your Windows directory (example: c:\Windows\inf) or click on the Start button, select run and type % systemroot%\inf.

    c. right-click on moviemk.inf, then choose install.
