Windows Movie Maker-cannot edit .mp3

Hello
I want to change a .mp3 file in windows movie maker. I mean that a file .mp3, not with any other video file. Is this possible? I tried many times and I finally dropped! If there is a good way to mean the exact procedure. Thanks in advance.
