Windows Movie Maker iPhone recording resolution

I used my iPhone to record video, it was in .mov format, so I converted everything in .wmv. Because I recorded the video on my iPhone vertically, it happened to rotate 90 degrees to the left in Windows Movie Maker. I added a video effect, flipping back all video 90 degrees, making it normal again. This is a problem that I'm stuck on currently. The resolution of the video has been lowered, preview them and real. Was it because I hit 90 degrees, or what? Can someone explain please how do I enlarge the resolution of my video even if she turned 90 degrees? Thank you!

  • Recoding with my Dazzle DVc 100 on Windows Movie Maker (Vista 32 bit)

I recently bought a Dazzle DVC 100 and recording o startedt. I do not have the program they give you, its just too messy. I used Windows Movie Maker to record my friends XP OS and it worked on him. It has detected my capture card and everything what it. Then I came home and I tried to do it on my Vista, and he says no card capture not detected. I went to the site it http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Hardware_Installer/readmeHW10.htm and found drivers for my OS and my capture card and downloaded but it still does not work. I asked on their live support chat, and they told me to come ask Microsoft so here I am: p.

    Can someone help me please?

    Hello Karan139,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

Have you went to "Device Manager" to check it's not a problem with the card?  Have you tried to remove the drivers and reinstall?  I found a link that specifies this problem and has more information that may be useful.  Please let me know if this helped, or if you're still having problems.

  • Windows Movie Maker 6.0 error during recording: check if the original sources are still available, the saving location is available and if there is enough disk space

Original title: Windows Movie Maker 6.0 Save Bug?

Something's weird with Windows Movie Maker...

It cannot record movies, I create somehow.

Immediamente when it starts to save, it gives an error signal: check if the original sources are always available (and yet, they all), there is no such thing as the save location (of course it is!) and if there is enough disk space (a lot of). Still, it will not save. How can this be possible?

I use an mp3 file (pendulum - watercolor) and have a lot of footage, often used with effects. They are 1280 x 1024 and a .avi file. Everything should work fine, but still does not work. Help me!

Well I have everyone agree, I was in need of great help I have windows Vista Ulitmate and I discovered this filmmaker windows 2.1 only works for XP but Windows Movie Maker 2.1 has an option where you can save a device such as an easycap DC60 + on.

But since I have Vista and do not want to switch to XP I download Windows Movie Maker 2.6 but I noticed that version 2.6 is not identical to the version 2.1? and I tried to download the 2.1, but it only works for XP!, so I was hoping that Microsoft can help me on my problem Okay and entire thnaks. Is it like a new program where the version 2.1 of Windows Movie Maker might work on Vista a have the same thing and the version of xp.

How to get Movie Maker 2.1 on windows 7

  • noise problem Windows movie maker 2.6 when recording in dv - avi format

I installed the filmmaker windows 2.6 on windows 7 Home premium. Everything works fine. When I try to record the final film in DV - AVI format, I get 5-7 seconds of noise very high height introduced where ever there is a change of clip. IE if I have 10 different clips in my film, I get this noise at 10 different locations in my last recorded movie. These are the places where begins a new clip. There is no such noise present when I play the project in movie maker is not present in the original source file (which is an avi file).

Interestingly, when I save the movie in any format as DV - AVI, (IE high video quality, local playback or any wmv file) there is no such noise introduced in the final movie. I used the same clips to make the final movie in windows xp using movie maker 2.1 and there was no question also in the recorded final DV - AVI movie.

So the problem seems to be only on movie maker 2.6 on windows 7, when recording in DV - AVI format (all other formats of work correctly). Clips of same worked well on movie maker 2.1 on windows XP, when recording in DV - AVI format.

I suspect that the video filters (in tools-> options) could be the reason. I checked and all active video filters are those in C/windows/SYSWOW64 directory, so there is no non-microsoft video filter.

Pls help as windows live movie maker (installed on windows 7) all blocks left and right and is basically useless because it can't record any movie to the end. Director of Windows 2.1 was the best choice, but it cannot be installed on windows 7. I can download the video to show what kind of flicker noise is there at the beginning of each clip. It is a volume high, shrill noise as if two things are rubbing against each other.

There is a small chance that you may have better results if you
record in DV - AVI format. I will paste the instructions below.

Also, it may be worth trying to go to... Tools / Options / Compatibility
