  I'm sorry, but you will need a Windows 9 x / ME drive to provide during the XP installation from the XP disc is a version upgrade. There is no way around that. See if you can find a friend with an older operating system disk (not a recovery disk) to support qualification. Otherwise, you would need to buy the full version (not upgrade) of XP to install on the computer. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  One of my clients has a problem with the e-mail. When opening Windows Mail, it gets this message:

  He said that it is impossible to get any mail until it restarts. Then mail works, but after this initial session returns the error and it should reboot again to get new mail.   Consolidator M² is part of the Customer Experience Improvement Program and can be disabled via scheduled tasks.
  1. click on 'start '.
  2. Type "Task Scheduler."
  3 expand the nodes on the left side for "Task Scheduler Library.
  4. click on 'Microsoft '.
  5. click on "Windows".
  6 inside of Windows, you will find the "Customer Experience Improvement Program" folder now, you have the choice of turning off all tasks in this folder, also you might delete tasks or the entire folder.

  Once you have made your choice of actions close task scheduler and check the normal operation of Windows Mail.   I can record videos, etc. but it gives me is more the options microphone. It only gives me high definition and driver Microphone main sound capture. When it is installed, you should find Rec.Playback on the recording of the sound Properties tab. If Rec.Playback says "currently unavailable", do a right click on it to set as the default recording device.

There's a hum in the background and it has always been like that. For my work, I have to use the line. Also, I need to use other sources of input in addition to just my mic, so I need the mixing table, and of course, this requires line in.
