Windows performance SQM

One of my clients has a problem with the e-mail. When opening Windows Mail, it gets this message:

"Windows performance SQM has stopped working windows don't farm program and you warn if a solution is available."

He said that it is impossible to get any mail until it restarts. Then mail works, but after this initial session returns the error and it should reboot again to get new mail. I did a lot of research online, but can't find the basic description of Consolidator M². Is it possible to hell the SQM Consolidator?

He got a Dell which came with Vista 64 in March again.

techwoman, thanks for posting on the Microsoft forums.

Consolidator M² is part of the Customer Experience Improvement Program and can be disabled via scheduled tasks.
1. click on 'start '.
2. Type "Task Scheduler."
3 expand the nodes on the left side for "Task Scheduler Library.
4. click on 'Microsoft '.
5. click on "Windows".
6 inside of Windows, you will find the "Customer Experience Improvement Program" folder now, you have the choice of turning off all tasks in this folder, also you might delete tasks or the entire folder.

Once you have made your choice of actions close task scheduler and check the normal operation of Windows Mail. Please mark this thread as answered for someone else with the same number, if this has not resolved the question answer then return to this topic and we will continue this problem more in detail.
Kind regards
Aaron Barth

  • Why two windows performance Manager tasks in autonomous system?

Win 7 Home Premium computer sounds like he's working on something BIG, when it is not.  Checked the Task Manager, find TWO windows performance when I clicked on the performance tab.

    Scans of MSE are clean.

Looked on many sites support for "Task Manager performance window", and they are all showed a single window of performance in their screenshot.

Maybe a coincidence: started having of "the computer must be restarted before update can continue." Do you want to restart now - yes - no"error messages that disappeared after several reboots.

Got rid of him when I tried the suggestion to delete the AdobeUpdater.rbt file.

Yet, there is the question of the windows two performances. Is this normal?

I want to create the basis of performance for windows 8 machines (such as the time of winlogon, time of start of office and total etc..). For this I used windows performance toolkit - WPR tool for recording or log performance (scenario of starting) data in the log file (.etl). I opened the ETL file generated using WPA (windows performance monitor), in the section dedicated to the process, always I am able to see winlogon.exe and explorer.exe lasting more than 2 minutes on different machines. When I did for windows XP(using xperf) machine winlogon.exe showing always within 30 seconds.

Can you please let me know how I can get the correct data for the following WPR tool:

A lot of things happen here.

1 - its never a good idea to have 2 applications of active malware (Comodo & Avast) and as a first step, I would like to remove the two and using MSE instead.

    2. I would like to disable readyboost and bitlocker.

3 svchost is powered by a huge amount of HD readings that could be caused by two applications of malicious software or something else in the system, so I would like to run a file system check for the status of the operating system.

    4. it seems that you have Watefox & Firefox running at the same time.

5 = you have over 295 disk write process (I stopped counting at 295) they contribute course to the use of the HD and the cpu.

J W Stuart You can check if you have the latest graphics driver installed. This may help a bit, but as mentioned Palcouk you must update the card to get the best scores.

Note: The 2D under-score graphics are not as important as the score of the game if you are in the games.

  • Specifying the user name for the collection of statistics of servers windows performance monitor?

When using load OATS tests collect statistics of servers Windows (perfmon stats), the load test server runs under the user Id must be a member of the monitoring group of the Performance on all Windows servers, I'm watching. I have a user ID standard I use for this type of surveillance. It is automatically configured on all servers in our company. Where can I specify this user ID and password in OATS load tests?

The only reference I can find in the documentation says to change the user ID and un_mot_de_passe in the Oracle Load Test Agent Serivce. I don't think that's what I want. And there is no installed service named 'Oracle Load Testing Service Agent' on my server in any case.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello Bob
You should have a service called Service Oracle Application Testing Suite Agent on each server running a load test agent. If this is not the case, there is a problem it somethere and you can't run a load test.
This is the service you need to run as the specific user (go to control panel-> service-> change the service to log on under your username).

    And tell us the resultl

  • Recent Windows performance issues

So, recently, my computer (Windows 7 in early 2011) began to suffer form one point turning the monitor and speakers suddenly glitching upward during the severe activity on the screen and stop responding, requiring a hard reset. First of all, I noticed to happen in my screen that caused this problem: when the screensaver runs it would freeze finally in place, often with truncated graphics cluttering the screen. Days after that got passed, every time I had to play a game on the computer, the screen would bug out and turn off the monitor (with the computer always, oddly enough). so I have to unplugg the power cord and fiddled with the power button up to what she is. Days later, I tried to clean the dust off of surface the computer (including Sockets), hoping it would solve part of the question. I can't really say, it was the case, and after that I tried to install an antivirus program, I was suggest you download from a friend of mine (Avast! (Free), I started seeing the slower start on my computer.

This is what happens whenever I try to start my PC after my many attempts to fix the situation: it takes a little more time to reach the Welcome screen than ever before and after about 10 seconds on the Welcome screen, it happens as another 10 seconds on a totally blank background, and then within 10 seconds following the background and Startup tab appears , then after another 10 all the desktop icons pop up and plays the welcome chime. (Top of the screen) docking station and all the widgets of office take a long time to appear (15 seconds, with widgets appearing beforehand). While I had the above errors (even several years own) all pretty much instantly appeared.

If I could get anything to restore my computer to its fast startup time and not defective screen, I would really appreciate it. Heck I wouldn't mind upgrading to Windows 8 so that I have all my data is transferred in advance so I don't need to set all my settings.

  • The computer crashes during Gaming (BSOD) and Windows performance index

    Windows 7, 64-bit

OK, so I've had this problem for weeks. Initially, I thought the graphics card was defective. When I ran the Windows experience index, it would break on the part where he is to note the graphics card. So what I did I sent to the manufacturer and got a new, but the computer STILL crashes. Maybe the motherboard is damaged - I don't know.

Another measure taken was to use the command prompt and the "sfc/scannow". It did not work.

I have almost all the necessary drivers. The only one, I can not install is the Display Driver for the graphics card, for some reason any.

OK, so I thought I should touch basis with you guys, because although no one answered for a while.

The problem is certainly a problem of overheating.

I figured out how to fix the problem - all I had to do was increase the GPU fan speed.of. Because of this, I was able to install the GPU driver successfully and play video games. (Use the GPU Tweak to increase the fan speed)

  • Windows Performance Index (WEI) is not available after adding more RAM and Win7 request reactivation.

I have Win7 Home Premium 32 bit installed on new computer OEM. I added more RAM (DDR3 1333 pair). Windows has asked to be reactivated, I did. Now WEI has no active button, shows no rating at all and says that the machine is not classified. He previously worked. What was the cause? All solutions?

Maybe Norton causes the same question. Have you tried to recalculate WEI after uninstalling Norton?

  • The Windows performance team call stated that I have error on my computer a scam?

I hung up after asking him to give me more information about who he was and the evidence that he was who he was because he wouldn't give me an answer that makes sense. Was it legitimate?

    Hello Donna1656,

Microsoft has none of the unsolicited telephone calls about your computer sending errors.
This call was a scam and it's good that you did not continue with the call.

  • Windows Experience Index problem: could not measure the performance of video playback

My pc is not yet rated. When I click on rate appears on this computer, a msg error saying that Windows Experience Index for your system could not be calculated, could not measure the PERFORMANCE of VIDEO PLAYBACK. What should I do. Help, please

    Hello

Here are a few things to check before launching performance index Windows (WEI).

    • Quit all running programs, and restart the computer before running the assessment (WEI).
    • Check with the manufacturer of the computer or the motherboard manufacturer for BIOS updates.
    • Make sure you have the latest Windows 7 compatible drivers for the graphics device installed (video card).
    • If you have any third-party media players installed, uninstall them until the end of the evaluation of the WEI.
    • If you have installed any third-party Media Codecs, try to uninstall them until the end of the evaluation of the WEI.

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder C:\WINDOWS\Performance\WinSAT .

You should see the following 8 videos.

    2 files with .mp4 extension.

3 files with the .mpg file extension.

3 files with .wmv file extension.

Double-click each of these files. They should open and play in Windows Media Player. These are the files that WEI runs video performance.

One thing to remember is that the WEI score is only an indicator of the ability of the main components of hardware on the computer. It has no effect on the performance of the system.

    Tell us what you find.
