Windows Photo Gallery will not handle files Raw of Olympus. What can we do?
Download the message of that impossible to open the Photo Gallery this file. Is there a way to allow him to open Olympus Raw files?
Although my Olympus XZ-1 has been registered on the 64-bit update, it did not help at all. If anything he seemed to back-track to a thumbnail of the image of an icon of the flower. Help

My Windows Live Photo Gallery will not import pictures off my ScanDisk which can do?
Send my printer to the computer, but Windows Live Gallery will not import pictures. It gives the CODE of ERROR 0 x 80070057, whatever that means.
This means that you must use windows to open and view the files instead.
Click the Start button and click on registration computer.
Insert a flash drive / device.
A new list appears when the disc is loaded, f / G... for example and removable disk / storage,
On the right, click it and then select open,
If AutoPlay opens click on open and look with Windows Explorer (not wlpg)
Select the files and one of them right click and select copy.
Open the folder where you want the files and right click on an empty space on the white paper background and select Paste.
Once done go back to the computer screen and right-click on the list again and select eject.

All of a sudden, for some reason unknown to me, my mon imprimante printer does not print images JPG from Windows Photo Gallery black and white or grayscale. No matter if I turn it on to or black and white color option / shades of gray option, it only prints in color. If I remove the color of my printer ink cartridge and leave the black alone to, and order the printer to print in black, the printer behaves as if it was printing but the page comes out blank.
If I try to print, for example Word documents in black and white / shades of gray, they come out, as requested.
Help, please! Thank you.
Hi Ulap,
A. from when what happens?
B. you are able to print the other black and white file formats?
First of all, check if you are able to print black and white photo viewer.
Then, run an auditor of system files (sfc scan) on your computer in order to replace the files corrupted on your computer.
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option
5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check if the problem persists.

Photo Gallery Windows and Windows Live Photo Gallery will not open
Windows Photo Gallery does not open. This happened after trying to import images. Photo Gallery does not recognize the old photos so it would import duplicates, so I kept cancelling the process. Now it does not open. The blue circle goes as it will open up and then nothing happens. I downloaded Windows Live Photo Gallery, and it opens either. I have Windows Vista Home Premium version 6. On rare occasions, the gallery will open. What can I do? I read in this forum to rename the file, but it does not work. I did a system restore and that doesn't work anymore. Someone knows what can be done?

Hi granny smith.
· What happens when you connect the digital camera to the computer?
· You receive an error message or error code?
Check if the device is detected in Device Manager. Follow the steps to go to the Device Manager
i. click on start, type devmgmt.msc and then on enter.
II. research the name of the device

I use vista and if I put a .jpg on the desktop image I open it with any normal program 'open with', with the exception of the Windows Photo Gallery.
If I create a folder on the desktop and then to move the image in the folder it opens very well as usual. I logged as a different user on the same computer to test if this office was undergoing the same wierdness. These are the works very well as it is supposed to. Accordingly, I find that there are some bad configured "widget" on my main desktop of the user to open the image files automatically when they are on the desk.
How to restore the default double click of the image so this Windows Photo Gallery it opens on the desktop?
OK, I found the reason and the solution. I want to thank myself to resolve this weird behavior of Vista
the problem occurs because a URL (web link), you have on the desktop is too long. something like a link to google maps for example or something else Street which is more then 64 characters is originally the Gallery windows to screw up. Why these two files different, sitting on the desktop may be related, I don't know, but they are.
find the link that is the author of the offence and delete or move elsewhere and out of your office and bingo! your desktop image viewer works again.
HOW TO FIX:
I found the easy long url because there were only a few links on my desk so if you have a lot and you are not sure which one is, simply create a folder called 'junk url' and move all web links in this directory. Now, you will see that your office is working again as it should so that you know that one of those that you moved is bad. Now, to pull everyone out, one at a time on your desktop and keep stable your .jpg image to see if it considers the image. One of these URLS will begin his shows do not and when you check the properties of this url, you will see that it is a super long address. One who is bad - get rid of him and now your fixed. -

My system is Vista. Game camera is a Bushnell HD and I can download from an SD card or a direct cable to the photo gallery. However when I play the video all that can be seen is the same type of screen saver of colors and of protections in motion seen when playing music. The sound of the segment can be heard clearly, but you don't see nothing recorded.
Hello
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I understand from the information you have provided to us, that you are facing problems during playback of videos in the Windows vista photo gallery. I will certainly help you in this matter.
What is the format of the file?
If Windows Movie Maker is installed, photo library will play videos in these types of files
ASF, AVI, MPEG and WMV. Not all editions of Windows Vista come with Windows Movie Maker installed.
See the link.
