  So I recently had the game of the year Edition of Batman Arkham City and it installs and works perfectly except the sign GFWL to does not appear so I can't save my game, I've tried a whole series of things to try to make it work, including

• computer Mac - ticket social mobilization will not work in ADE - everything tried - can you help me please?

  I have a computer from apple Mac OSX10.7.   If anyone can help it would be appreciated that I already tried many ways to find the answer.  My ticket of social mobilization will not open my ebook in Adobe Digital Edition.  I have an adobe id, downloaded adobe digital edition, my computer is allowed with the right email address, even as the adobe id.  Then I downloaded an ebook from a public library.  The ticket of social mobilization is revealed in my computer downloads.  The ADE is in the Applications folder.

  When I double click on the ticket of social mobilization in the computer downloads the file, it opens the app ADE, but nothing happens from there (the e-book does not appear in the ADE, nor if the ticket of SOCIAL mobilization appears). Even if I opened the ADE, click on 'Add article to the library', I can find the downloads to the computer folder, but download of CMHA is grey, I can't choose it and click on it.  That's the problem.  I can't understand why?

  My computer does not have the firewall enabled (I checked this in my system preferences).  I also have adobe flash installed according to my system preferences.

  Adobe technology confirmed that the ADE works because I can open a notebook of EPUB samples from a Web site that does not use a ticket of social mobilization.  Anyone with useful information?

  I have Mac 10.6.8 and use Firefox for the browser.

  Create a backup of the original file "restore."

  Close the ADE if it is open.

  Go to Documents > my digital editions. Rename the folder to restore restore.old.

  Note: 'Documents' can be named 'My Documents'.

  Download a new copy of the title.

  Open (or run) the newly downloaded eBook (which is a file of SOCIAL mobilization).

  When you open the file, ADE will be pop up and load the eBook you selected.

• Notepad has stopped working in Win7, can not find to solve. Please can someone help?

  As stated, I can open, save, but can no more printing from Notepad. I get the error message stating that 'the Notepad has stopped working "... I Googled it for three days and nothing helped, have not found a solution. It worked well between Christmas and now that I used to print from Notepad. I used the system restore and again, no luck. Doing a system repair, no lucj... I appreciate any help you can offer. I hate it when things do not work!... lol
  I'm running a new HP w/OS 64-bit and upgraded to Win7 in October I had many other errors since then, but the notebook was not a problem until now. Is there a work around for this?

  If you go into Notepad, type something, choose File--> Print

  then choose the printer named:
  "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" (instead of your default printer),
  It will ask you a xps file name, allow you to save and create the XPS document to the location that you have already told him to record on?

  If so, he continues to work as before, Notepad can work very well, and it could be your printer or your printer driver which is having the issue.

  If it looks good with the XPS printer you can print try to remove your Windows printer, unplug it, reboot, plug the printer back in and let Windows reinstall the driver or you request your driver disk see if that helps.

  If the device worked properly, then started to overexpose in mode auto, most likely, you have changed some settings...

  Go to the menu, select and use 'all clear camera settings. You can also go into the custom functions menu, select and click 'Reset all custom functions'.

  As a last resort, you could do a "reboot" of the camera. It's a bit like rebooting a computer to clear incorrect instructions that are stuck in the memory.

  To do a reset, first turn off the camera, then remove all of the batteries, including the money bit "battery memory" which is in a drawer inside the main compartment. Turn on the camera and press the shutter button once. It fires without batteries, of course. But this drains any residual power in the circuit.

  Turn the power off, reinstall the batteries and turn it back on. Check the date and time. If you got a restart appropriate, they should be set to zero.

  If you do not have a proper restart, you can use the same procedure, but instead of pressing the shutter button just leave the battery for about an hour. This should allow any residual power to drain it and cause a complete reset, too.

  It can erase some of the settings you have made inadvertently, causing problems. Or it can erase a statement stuck in memory, string just as restarting a computer clears its memory and help it work better. (After all, devices digital photo is essentially the laptops. )

  You might also consider relocation (upgrade, if necessary) the camera firmware. Sometimes, it can be damaged and giving problems. If you go to the website of Canon and research for 30 days, in the software category and downloads you will find the latest version of the software for the camera and instructions on how to install it. Follow the instructions carefully. It is not difficult, but it must be done according to the instructions, or there is a risk of "bricking" of the camera.

  Finally, it could be a bad communication between the camera and lens. Some flashes use data of distance from the lens to help the force of the power of the flash. Remove the lens and clean the contacts. Usually the best way to proceed is to wipe the contacts Golden at the rear of the lens with a clean cloth which is slightly moistened with a few drops of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing cheap alcohol is fine). Just pay attention to leave the lens optics and do not touch the mirror inside the front of the camera or the screen right above the mirror.

  Also, you can check the pins 'spring' corresponding to the contacts on the lens to work correctly. Gently press on each spindle and watch it springs in place. Sometimes, these can be sticky, causing problems of communication between the camera and the lens.

  Factory default of compensation and/or reboot the camera that you will lose a few other settings you did and you will need to go into the menu to manually redo all the parameters you use regularly.

  All these are things you can do yourself and which costs nothing to try. They may or may not help. If so, great. If not, you will need to have a repair technician look at the camera. Either find someone local who can work on it or send it to Service Dept. Canon
