  • Applications take more time to load than usual upward

Welp, it seems that I am slowly solve all my problems gradually. I hope that you guys don't mind help me again. : s

So I just found out tonight that my programs take longer to load than usual. Like, for example say that when I open Windows Explorer, it normally loads the thing whole file in less than a second. But when I got home today, I discovered that it takes 1 to 2 seconds to load the screen. The computer itself is not so slow. My Internet is fine and I'm typing this without any problem. But keep in mind, I noticed what happens as soon as I logged in, then it may be nothing to do with the slow transformation or whatever. However, windows start on the "Windows is not stopped correctly - please select the startup option that you want to load windows" or something, and then there ' start it in Safe Mode "etc..
Although I stopped him correctly, if I recall accurately. I press the turn-off button in the start menu and let him do his own thing, so I don't know why it does this, because it normally only that when I "force close" my computer, aka holding down the power button until it turns off. Also, after I chose the "start Windows normally" option, he has been blocked on the 'Windows logo ' loading screen for about a minute before it instantly loaded to the top of the login screen.
I hope this is enough information. Although this could just be a simple matter to restart the computer to solve the problem. I will restart after I have this post and update on the issue. Also, I remove a Trojan recently. I know that the Trojan horse was not too old, because I recognize the directory or the program it was found, as it was a program that I removed. But I will now reboot and see what happens. If you guys have any other advice that would be great.
    See you soon!

Update: Yep, all I had to do was restart it. Ridicule me. : 3
Well, it works fine now. Hooray! : D

    Hi Lachlan,

Glad to know that your computer works all fine now.

  • Menu start takes more time to load than usual

Original title: Start Menu does load not start computer...

When I start my computer, and even after he has worked for minutes, or hours... from the Start Menu does not load, and only after I clicked to open it, clicked off of it (to close), wait 10 to 20 seconds or more, then click on back on that everything will appear (something is there, right away like pin programs) , but recently used programs, and recent documents (the small arrows next to pin/freq used) do not appear until after I go through the above process...

Does anyone know why this might be?

  • Satellite C650 - Windows Photo Viewer crashes at every time currently in use

    Hi all

My C650 is a new purchase and so far I was not able to view photos; on a memory stick, in "My pictures" or any form using the Windows Photo Viewer. Once I double click the photo icon, the image enlarged to full screen and freezes at "loading" is displayed.

  • Windows Photo Viewer shows the files blank JPEG thumbnails (inside folders) poster white icon, already tried a lot of Solutions - please help! S.O.S.

    Dear all,

    I have this problem:

All JPEG files are normal, I tried to open with the help of Adobe Photoshop CS5. But if I use it to watch my files, it takes too long to load.

This is the case if I try to open them using the Windows Photo Viewer:

It's when I try to open it with Adobe Photoshop CS5:

So the file is fine, they are non-empty JPEG.

The difficulties I've tried before posting on the forum:

    - Fix it with Microsoft to photo viewer

Fix It for animals works well and could not find any problem though, so nothing is fixed.

    - Removal 'External event AMD' Service

    Nothing change

    - Removal of color for the monitor profiles

    Nothing to change also

    - Updated all the drivers and windows

    Nothing change

    - Boot in Safe Mode

The thumbnails are displayed correctly and "Windows Photo Viewer" display my images perfectly well BUT...

    - Start in Normal Mode with all the Services of persons with disabilities (except Microsoft)

The problem happens again, that the thumbnails are blank and the images also.

    - Cleaning disc (with checked "thumbnails")

    The problem still exists

    - Set programs "Default" for the Windows Photo Viewer

    The problem still exists

    - Run SFC/scannow From The Command Line

The problem still exists, and the SFC somehow told me that my Windows is fine

    - Removal of hidden miniature manual

    The problem still exists

    - Windows Live Essentials installation and use the 'Photo Gallery'

Photo Gallery crashes all the time after asking if I want to associate files "JXR" or not, but I'm not on this topic, but this does not solve the problem.

I tried every step, I have found on various types of forum, but not the last magic: Reinstall Windows, I really want to solve this problem without cleaning Windows installation if possible, and I'm so in love with "Windows Photo Viewer" because it's simple, fast, and it is very precious to me. I tried free viewer and FastStone Image Viewer but is a bit complicated, controls are small and it always comes out in full screen, I need this so baaad.

Western Digital 1 TB Caviar Black hard drive

This happens to the files without administrator rights. Understand that the last time WinXP also had this problem but it had been fixed. Any resolution for Windows 7?

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?
2 is the issue limited to the tiff files?
    3. you receive an error message on the computer?

Photo Viewer Windows can only view .jpg and .jpeg, .tif and .tiff, .png, .gif, .bmp and DIBs, .wdp file types.

    Method 1:
You can take all the permissions in the folder of tiff files and check.
Here are the steps to change the ownership and permissions of files and folders:

    a. right click on the file or folder, click Propertiesand then click the Security tab.

    b. click Advancedand then click the owner tab.

    c. click change, and then do one of the following:

    · To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click other users and groups , in area enter the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.

    · To change the owner to a user or group that appears in the area of change of ownership to , click the new owner.

    d. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the checkbox replace the owner of sub containers and objects .

    e. click OKand then click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:

You are not allowed to read the contents of directory folder name. Do you want to replace the the directory permissions with permissions granting you full control?

All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.

Note folder_name is the name of the folder you want to take charge.

    f. click OKand then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents.

When I try to open attachments photo (jpeg), it defaults to the Windows Photo Viewer, says loading but does nothing more immediately to freeze my HP computer. I have then close and restart my computer. Efforts to re - open the attachment has the same result. How can I solve this problem?

    Hello michael11

Initially, Windows Photo Viewer is part of the operating system, but Microsoft's move into the Windows Essentials Application. I'm linking you to the site that you can go to download and install Microsoft Windows Essentials.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Live/Essentials

I would like to download the full version of the software because an update for the Windows operating system you are using, or Photo Viewer Windows could have altered the application or could prevent you from using the application as it is not installed as expected the update.
