Windows put constantly fails and causes more problems

Running Windows 7 64 bit. I got my antivirus ESET NOD 32 Antivirus 4 protection.

Update the downloaded window 4 updates, 2 installed and 2 were constantly lacking. Both of which have been not been (KB978382) & (KB978380)

I restarted my computer several times, and because they are not install my computer acted very funny. Sometimes it will start fine, other times I get no internet and the computer hangs just at the level of the Office do not allow me to do anything. Whenever I go to the judgment, since these two updates failed, it keeps telling me I have new updates to install. It's a never ending cycle and a pain full in my _______. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/results.aspx?freetext=KB978382&displaylang=en&stype=s_basic

2. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/results.aspx?freetext=KB978380&displaylang=en&stype=s_basic

Download and install two boring updates manually. That should make them disappear.

He is the current solution for the Office updates failing to install.

  • Svchost is using too much memory and causes other problems

I have a strange problem. I always have a remarkable svchost process that uses a lot of memory. It doesn't bother me, if I am just browsing the web, but when I run a program so it does make a difference. Now, here's where the problems start. Sometimes I can't start even some programs while this process is running. Programs would freeze everything trying to launch and they will stay like that until I kill the svchost that takes up my memory. After I kill the process the program I already started will be complete loading, but the process killed will come back and start hogging my memory still. It seems to interfere with many things. I reinstalled windows, thinking that it was caused by a windows update, but even without updates, it is still at work.

Let me know what information should I provide for you to help me solve this problem and I'm open to sharing.

I have it down to a signle service.

    Multimedia class Scheduler

It uses more and more memory until I permanently terminate the svchost run slot, then it starts again. I went the service manual and it always starts by itself.

  • ChkDsk cause more problems than good

    Hello

It is always advisable to not run Chkdsk (Via Windows 7)? Can it do more harm than good, if you don't know what you're doing :-)

I keep getting error 41 and I was told it's because of the hard drive, but ChkDsk showed no problems.

    Hello

No, not particularly. It depends entirely on the settings/flags that use you as well, but in general, if chkdsk is unable to solve problems, it means that your drive is gone too well. For example, if you run/r to locate bad sectors and recover readable information (implies / f with the addition of the analysis of the physical errors), and he notes, he cannot solve, etc, you should at this time save all data and replace the drive ASAP.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge a player, some people blame readers simply because they are not aware of what it may be.

To help you, we will need for the. DMP files to analyze what exactly happened at the time of the accident, etc.

If you do not know where. The DMP files, here's how to get to them are:

    1. go to the folder % systemroot%\Minidump.

2 copy all the DMP files in the Minidump folder on your desktop and zip then those files.

    3. download the zip containing the. Files DMP Onedrive or a Web hosting of your choice and paste it in your answer. Favorite sites: Onedrive, Mediafire, Dropbox, etc.. Nothing to do with the timers waiting, download managers, etc.

4 (optional): The type of. DMP files in the Minidump folder are known as small images of memory. In any % there will be what we call a kernel image (if your system is configured to generate). It is labeled MEMORY. DMP. The difference between the small images of memory and core-dumps in the simplest definition is that a kernel image contains much more information at the time of the accident, which allows more debugging of your question. If your upload speed and you're not going against any strict caps bandwidth and/or use, etc., the kernel image is the best choice. Note that the core-dumps are much larger in size due to containing much more information, that's why I mentioned the download speed, etc..

If you plan to use Onedrive but don't know how to download it, please see the following:

Download pictures and files to Onedrive.

After doing this, to learn how to share the link to the file if you are not aware, please visit the following link - share files and folders and change the permissions and view 'Get link'.

Please note that all programs "cleaner" such as TuneUpUtilities, CCleaner, etc., default will remove. DMP files after use. That said, if you run this software, you will need to allow the system to block one more time to generate a crash dump.

If your computer does. DMP files, follow these steps:

    1. start > type systemroot which should show the Windows folder, click it. Once inside this folder, make sure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to create a new folder and name it Minidump.

2 Windows key + Pause key. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > performance > settings > advanced > make sure there is a check mark for "manage automatically the size of pagefile for all readers."

3 Windows key + Pause key. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > startup and Recovery > settings > system > ensure there is a check mark next to "write an event to the system log.

Make sure Small Memory Dump is selected and ensure that the path is % systemroot%\Minidump.

    4. ensure that viewers is ENABLED:

Start > Search > type services.msc > on the name tab, search for Windows Error Reporting Service > if the service status is not started, then right-click and select start. Also to ensure that, under Startup Type set to automatic rather than manual. You can do this by right click, select properties and under general selection on 'Automatic' startup type and then click on apply.

If you can not get into normal mode to do this, please do so via Safe Mode.

    Kind regards

Number of description, it seems that, while installing Windows 8 it takes about 30 GB on the SSD and you want to delete Windows 8 does not have spaces in files on the computer.

  • IE 8 that I use with Windows XP constantly freezes and says that it is (no response).

I have a little Acer One connected to my bigger screen.  I use the free version of AVG, I've read can cause problems and I have also read that I needed to update my version of Java and this could lead to freezing and no response in IE8.  Come to find out that I didn't even have Java so you download the version for my computer but nothing changed.  I need an answer to help my computer.  He arrived at the point where I can't even get anything without IE8 freezing and when I try to wait just outside, it will specify that it does not.

Someone has fixes out there for this?  I ran the Microsoft Fix It tool - nothing.  I have disabled all addons just to see if it can help, but - nothing.  I am at a loss here.  Help, please.

    -removed the virus checker
    -installed any software encryption
    -no special disc running utilities
    -Windows Update
    -run the command chkdsk
-clean boot (all the services package disabled).

Any suggestions as to what I can try?

Boot from the DVD Windows 8
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 8 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

    Hello

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    1. Open the Firefox Options (Preferences on Mac or Linux) as follows:

      • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

then select Options Preferences on Mac or Linux, or Windows.

      • In 28.0 Firefox and earlier versions, click on the Firefox orange upper-left button, then select the 'Options' button or, if there is no button up Firefox, go to tools > Options.
    2. In the window of Firefox Options (or preferences), click on the Advanced tab, and then select general.
    3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
