  Our company has an environment Active directory on windows server 2008 and server running in 2012. We recently bought a mac server to push profiles settings and updates to iOS and OS x equipment.

  When I try to configure the mac server to join a domain open directory existing as a replica of the windows server 2008 or 2012, it gives an error of incompatibility. He says: ' your server cannot become a replica of the 'example.com' because they run a no compatible version of Mac OS X. Please consult the Guide of Administration Open Directory for more information about this compatibility matrix.

  Anyone can suggest me what am doing wrong or what should I do?

• Can not ping so allow the engine to Base on Windows Server R2 filtering 2012

  My windows platform is Windows Server R2 2012.

  My problem is that I can't ping the server during execution of the server BFE.

  I had already opened the ICMPv4 and v6 in the inbound rules. I also had to open inbound TCP 3389 port.

  I have once again allow all traffic entering the firewall rules.

  I tried to ping; error - request time-out

  I tried Telnet; No output.

  Can I know how to activate the ping while the BFE is running?

  I install EBS R12.2.5 VISION Instance on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, that is certified. I downloaded the media and made the scene and complete the prerequisites.

  I installed it, under Tools before building the stadium and run rapidwiz

  When I tried to install oracle client (Oracle 11 g (11.2.0.1.0)) client installed on Windows server 2012 standard edition got following error.

  "ins-13001 environment does not meet the minimum requirements. 64 bit Windows 2012"

  So, I have two concerns.

  1. any solution to solve this problem?

  2. If I install 12 c Client, will I connect Oracle database 11 g (11.2.0.4.0) using 12 c customer?

  Certainly can (and probably should) use 12 c client.  Oracle certifies customers until two major releases far they connect to databases.  Are all of my db 11.2.0.4, but I've been installing only customers of 12 c for a couple of years now.

• Windows Server R2 Enterprise 2012 drivers mouse/pointer

  I recently recharge a little Windows 2012 R2 Enterprise NAS server that I have and I have no mouse pointer.  I tried clicking through all the and none are coming.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall by Device Manager, but it helped, and it's really hard problems without and cursor/pointer.  Any ideas anyone?

  3 servers

  installed hyper v on the new backup DC and Exchange Server (vm 2 running)

  1 Server DC

  1 other server

  the server last 2 are lower and I would do not turn on their hyper v

  BitDefender for the gravityzone within the hosting company requires 1 vm

  knowing that I get 2 free license hyper v of every purchase... I can tell bad uses 6 vm on 1 server and be legal... just need 3 and for the purpose of the question

• Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter - "we couldn't complete updates of changes to undo; do not turn off your computer.

  There are approximately 247 updated to do with this Windows Server & as before in the past w / various different OS that I discovered that these must be mounted separately & batch too for these works correctly!

  There must be - a kind of server 2012/r2 cumulative hotfix / service pack that will sort most of these problems of updates w / a download link for getting these!

  But how & in which updates of the batch/grna they do have to do to finish correctly without these issues and so on!

  example"separate updates like this should be done in separate lots and so on!

  (a) Internet Explorer updates

  (b) .NET Framework 4.6

  (c) KB * item updates made in various lots of diferent etc.

  That's my problem, I have two servers both running Windows Server R2 Datacenter 2012 I installed AD - DS on one of them and allow the installation to configure the DNS settings, this server is also a DHCP server. On the server I want to connect to AD, I address DNS pointing to my AD server which is 192.168.1.60 and it's also getting an IP address from the DHCP server. But it connects to Active Directory, when I try the ping command on the domain name which is yewman.email he's trying pings an external IP address (which is my public ip address because I also have the yewman.email of real estate) how to fix this? It's the mistake of connection AD:

• Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop "flicker/crash.

  I am running Windows Server R2 Standard 2012 on a server.

  When multiple users use RDP (Remote Desktop Connection) to connect to the server says, those who log after the first connected user (i.e. the user 2, 3, 4... etc) experience a "flicker" of the desktop and applications open close for said flicker when they try to open any application.

  So to explain step by step, once connected to the server using the RDP Protocol, the Server Manager application opens (the only application affected by flicker). Suppose I want to open the Task Manager, so I go to the taskbar, do a task manager, right click. Then the box office disappears for a time, including the taskbar and the background, while the application server manager remains open.

  This happens for all applications other than the Server Manager.

  In addition to this, the first connected user is also affected do not experience the flicker and can run programs as usual.

  As far as I can tell that this has happened since the beginning of the installation of windows.

  My first guess would be that the explorer.exe is crashing, but I can't really verify the said Task Manager.

  I don't have physical access to the server, only a remote connection.
