  No, it means that you are misunderstand any error message you see.  There is no service pack 4 for Windows XP.  All reputable antivirus meant for Windows XP software will install on Windows XP service pack 3.  If you have problems to install antivirus software, your computer may already be infected.

I am able to install a program that already exists on the computer, so I know that installs works just not the Internet. Do not send me a link to install because it probably won't last through. I may be able to download but installation will not pass by so that the program will not work. I used the words installation and internet a lot for some reason please take account, when responding.
