Windows Update deleted Norton and will not reinstall. How long can we operate in Mode safe? Ramifications of this?

I spoke several times with Norton. System Restore was successful a couple of times, but Norton that was in place during this period is no longer present. I'm exploited only in safe mode and do not know how this works, either; It's very limiting.  COMPUTER geeks have determined that no virus or hard drive interest. The computer is unbelievably slow without safe mode, as so well to exploit.  It started mid-October with a Windows Update.  Norton has been reinstalled and worked for several weeks until another Windows update.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Norton until I'm blue in the face and it's still wobbly.  Any help and suggestions would be so appreciated.  Thank you ~.

Hi TaraYA,

·         What happens when you try to install Norton?

·         You receive an error message?

·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

Windows Update does not remove any safety program. However, you can check the program installed on the computer or not?

To search for a file or folder, see the following article:

    Frog

Don't ask me how or why, but the Microsoft shield icon to install update has disappeared from the taskbar in this morning.  I turned off the computer/on several times yesterday thinking that he could solve the problem - it did it not.  As always, I disabled the system before going to bed last night.  Unsurprisingly, I thought, the shield icon install was still there this morning when I turned it on.  The icon, however, disappeared on its own about 30 seconds after starting.  Why I'm not sure.  In any case, I think that this issue is resolved for now.

Because windows 8 is still in a preview version, you will have a few problems with whatever you try to use the current drivers. Make sense?

  • Windows update is corrupted and does not

Hi, I get this problem for my windows update. Windows update client image is damaged and when I clicked on the "Windows Update" it shows nothing also includes "Check for updates", "Install optional updates", but when I clicked on the 'turn automatic updating on or off' and "View update history" he showed me the error message like the picture below. I tried solving the problems with windows update, but it doesn't work also.

When I clicked on "View update history"

When I clicked on ' Turn update or disable automatic.

Have you tried a system restore?  Which usually fix this type of problem.
