• Lost password administrator somehow. Tried to reinstall Windows XP with the CD without success. Want to know how to get around the password requirement.

  Cannot start; or work from the recovery console because of the lack of administrator password.  There were periodic crashes which led me to try reinstalling XP.  Now I'm stuck when I get to the password requirement in the Recovery Console.  As you can tell, I'm not computer literate, but can follow written instructions on how to recover from this.  Also, would like to know how to recover my files and programs if they are not lost; or how to determine if they are.

  Thanks for posting with us.  If you no longer have the administrator password you can perform a parallel installation so that your data will not be lost.  However, you will need to reinstall your programs.  This link covers the different installation options.

  I created the new environment with 8.52 tools and 9.1 Financials Applications.I had defined nodes to report in an appropriate manner and the path of the repository in my region of origin peopelsoft it self.
  
  However, when I tried to run the sample reports in PIA he goes to the State of success but remains detached. Therefore not able to access the Viewlog/Trace of PIA option.
  
  When I checked in the server, The Out put files generate in the newspaper of the Scheduler process put folder but not in the report repository, I created and defined in the file configuration.properties Web server.
  
  I had created to set ups for financial services and the other for HRMS. But in both servers, the question remains the same.

  To find your local node by default to go to main Menu > PeopleTools > Portal > definitions node and find the node that has a year to the local node by default.
  After having opened the default local node go to the Portal tab and fill in the uri as the examples on the screen.

  I assume you have the other setting in place as described in the installation manual:
  -Default Local node configuration is approved
  -L' user who is configured to start the CRP, must have the roles ProcessSchedulerAdmin and ReportDistAdmin
  -Process Permissionlist of user profile must have the box can start application server ticked.

  After windows 10 road test for a few months, I decided that it wasn't going to work for me. So I used my drive of windows 7 to do a new installation, after I formatted the hard drive.   Restart your computer and wait 30 minutes for the system to operate before you download information. When the review much, not Event Viewer log files all problems show in the period immediately after the computer has booted.

  Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information). Place the cursor on the system, select the Action in the Menu and record all events like (the evtx default file type) and give a name to the file. Do the same for the application log. Do not offer not filtered files. Do not place the cursor in the list of reports before selecting the Action from the menu. Do not clear the logs so that you have a persistent problem.
