Windows vista error - catastrophic failure - error occurred during automatic backup of files
- Windows vista service pack 2
- error 0x8000FFFF catastrophic failure code
- update browser GOOGLE chrome
- Run the disk check, have also partioned disks (supplied with the new laptop), but still keep on this error
SOLUTION:
The solution to the problem, I met is the following:
Step 1: RESTART your computer, press F8
Step 2: select the first OPTION (depending on the manufacturer of your computer, it may be first or second, and so on...)
The option is: fix my (the) computer
Step 4: It will load the same in SafeMode (just an example), select your OWN USER NAME (though more are available), log in as an ADMINISTRATOR (if you are the one)
Step 5: It will change into a small window asking you connect by using the command prompt: check this option (this may vary according to manufacturing, but it should be there)
Step 6: Now when you log in you should see X:\Windows\System32 >
Step 7: Change of disk C, D or E (essentially select your disk where the OS is installed)
NOTE: If NO leave are present select your ONE and ONLY by CAR.
If left are, for example: D and E (D contains BONES, E contains - your stuff)
Select drive with OS, i.e. D drive
Step 8: After your decision to step 7, it would look like
X:\Windows\System32\C:
Step 9: The result would now be C:\ >
SO BASICALLY WE ARE ACCESSING THE HDD FROM OUTSIDE
Step 10: Type Chkdsk/r/f
Step 11: wait for the results
The first 3 steps will be complete as soon as POSSIBLE, the 4th and 5th stage will TAKE ABOUT 120 minutes (variable, based on the hard drive, the computer specifications and especially your processor)
The result should tell you more about the DEFECTIVE AREAS, indexing ERRORS and similar stuff, and also they could be repaired.
When finished: TUPE OUTPUT
At the end of OUTPUT
and REBOOT
step 12: now even ONCE, go to the BACK UP CENTER, launch a NEW BACK UP, it should work :)
NOTE: I appreciate the incredible help with MICROSOFT research, engineers who were very thoughtful and dedicated to get my problem sorted out and help out me.
All these steps are suggestions for these engineers, NOT MY JOB: p

Hello
I install BIAPPS 11.1.1.8.1. I finished the configuration of BIAPPS and finally come to upgrade weblogic 10.3.5. to 10.3.6.
I stop all BI services and restart the server. After a reboot, I stopped the Oracle WebLogic NodeManager
at the time of the upgrade of the 1.3.5 weblogic server. to 10.3.6. I got the following error:
"Fatal error encountered during the installation of the file. The willingness of cleanup now install and get out! D:\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\win\x64\wlfileio3.dll(the process Cannot access the file because it is being used by another process)'.
Could you tell me please even if I stopped all services why I have this error and to overcome this problem what steps I must follow.
Thank you.
Hello
I got the answer that we must stop services databases oracle as well. We must stop DBConsole, NodeManager, TNS Listener and Oracle service and then start the 10.3.6 weblogic upgrade...
Do all this, then upgrade will be smooth.
Thank you

Connection selective Web page errors occur during the download of files to download
At first, I tried to install Microsoft Fix it 50416 by microsoft download the database to solve a problem of uninstalling with my computer (http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/officeinstall/thread/235c38bf-8c1e-49f4-81f0-cf32d56afece). However, the link to the fix he returned a browser message, saying that the computer could not connect to the Web page. After clearing the cache and cookies from my computer, the problem persisted, so I tried to scan my computer with Avira antivir and malwarebytes software. Both programs, however, refused to start, so I decided to check the Web sites for an explanation. In attempting this, I met the same exact error and the message of the browser for I in Microsoft download center.
With respect to potential malware, I recently installed debug system Fiddler2, which I removed from my computer after these connection errors.
From now on, I can not access the downloadable content from download.microsoft.com. All solutions are available to me at this time? If we need more information, you can read my earlier analysis of the link above

Windows Vista - unexpected error occurred during system restore
original title: an unexpected error occurred during system restore, did not finish no codes.__vista Home Basic error
HELP PLEASE. THANK YOU, RICK
Some security programs prevent changes to their file and must be configured to allow the restoration of the system work. For example, if your computer has Norton Antivirus or Norton Internet Security, you must disable Norton product Tamper Protection before you run the system restore. Unspecified error occurred during System Restore.Running Vista Home Basic 32 bit
After running system restore and restart my computer, I get the message "unspecified error occurred during system restore. I'm running Vista Home Basic
32-bit. someone at - it a response? I have no idea what to do next.
Hello
This can help you:
1. If you are using Norton, you should disable Norton inviolable Protection before using the system restore.
http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/sharedtech.nsf/pfdocs/2005113009323013
2. try to use Safe Mode system restore.
http://bertk.MVPs.org/html/restoresysv.html
3 Malware will stop at the system restore.
Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware, if necessary in Mode safe mode with networking:
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
And here's how to go in Safe Mode options; Select safe mode with networking from the list of options:

Original title: Shared readers do not reconnect
I have two PCs connected wireless. A laptop (Vista Business) was the drives mapped to actions on the other PC (XP). Whenever the Vista PC is started or out of hibernation, or after only a short period of time these discs are not available. Click on the drive in Explorer to display the message "an error occurred during connection [drive letter]: [share name] Microsoft Windows network: the local device name is already in use." This connection has not been restored. »
If I click on 'Network' within Solution Explorer, the XP PC is not visible. The only way that I can "reconnect" these disks is to go into my anti-virus (Trend) and open the network map. This shows the XP PC and then the shares are available through Explorer - XP PC is still not visible by clicking network however.
It started only happens in the last two months - cannot locate exactly when, but quite recently. I use connections to store small files and backup critical files a few before nailing the laptop away and it is quite annoying to have to go through this routine every time.
Any ideas?
Just in case it helps others - I found that if I make sure that my XP PC has a fixed IP address, and then set up the shares so that they are defined using the IP address and not share names, then I do have more problems - seems like it's something to do with Windows solve the share names rather than something to do with the personal firewall after all.

I am trying to convert an image backup acronis tru to a windows 2003 server to a server esxi virtual computer, a system I had converted previously on 4.x and exsi 5.1 Converter and using the same image and same PC to convert, but now he is unable to 59% with the status:
FAILED: An error occurred during conversion: "a file error has been detected" and error: error: impossible to clone the C:\Windows\TEMP\vmware-temp\vmware-me\nvdsxwvgwgxyklny\disk-1.vmdk drive on the virtual machine "server."
Don't know where to go with this.
Anyone have any ideas?
Unfortunately, there is a mistake in your image file: 2014-05 - 20 T 20: 41:17.034 - 04:00 [02140 WARNING 'Default'] [, 0] [NFC ERROR] read has no curSector = 588398592, nSectors = 512: failure of a custom of third party library function call: (3116).
Seems like you need to repair the virtual machine somehow, probably you start it, or use a tool acronis to repair the image.

Original title: 1. printer stopped communicating with the computer. 2 port - associated configuration error?
I have a big problem. All of a sudden my printer - AIO Photo964 said he cannot communicate with my computer. The printer works fine. I tried switching cables USB, all the trouble shooting suggestions, etc. etc. Nothing works and it makes no sense. I can't print anything. I thought it would be that I installed a Seagate external hard drive backup, then I uninstalled the program - no help. ITunes installed recently, because she had changed the printer default, changed back - no help. The USB cable is not tight in the printer (or both cables, I tried), but AFAIK it's not new (?) And when I try to configure the port, I get the error message "an error occurred during port configuration. This operation is not supported"I have no idea what it means. Can someone help me with this? I have to return a new printer? The USB port on the printer is repairable if this is the problem? How will I know? Who would do that?
Thanks, I'd appreciate any help.
It is always useful to have the complete error message without paraphrase.
It also helps to identify the version of Windows you have, including service pack.
And it helps to give the manufacturer of the printer in addition to the model. In your case, I guess you have a Dell printer. I know that some Dell printers are rebadged Lexmarks, but I don't know if it's a.
Why you try to configure the USB port? It cannot be configured - you've discovered. It's normal.
It's quite strange that an iTunes installation would have had something to do with the printers. What printer was made by default after installing iTunes?
You say you have tried another USB cable. Have you tried using a different USB port on the computer? Have you checked in the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK) to see if there is all the warning icons in the category "controllers of Bus USB?
I suggest you uninstall the printer software and driver completely and reinstall by following the directions in Its first Article.
Don't skip step 4. After step 4 and step 5, follow these steps:
Important: If you have a Lexmark printer, skip the following
Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each linenet stop spooler
dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS
net start spooler
outputNote that there is no space before the = and there is a space after it.
The Windows XP driver for the Dell Photo AIO 964 printer is here--> http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats/Product/dell-964?DriverId=R113115&FileId=2731111743&urlProductCode=False

I tried to run the various restore points system restore. Whenever the result is the same: msg says could not complete - "an unspecified error occurred during system restore.
Try again in Safe Mode.
What you are running for an anti-virus? If it's anything other than Microsoft Security Essentials, you may need to temporarily disable.
If this does not work, you can run it in Mode safe mode with command prompt. Once the command window appears. type %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe and press ENTER. The system restore GUI will go up, and you can restore to the date / time selected, or select a time different everything such as running Windows.
