"" Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit - VMWare server 2 "will not start.

I tried several times to get VMWare server v2 to install successfully.

There is no error during installation.

However. I don't see any application console in the system tray, I can't access the home page of the server from the links on the start menu, I do not see the mess configuration settings with since I can't access the VMWare server.

VMWare points than running in my task manager: VMnat, VMnetdhcp, VMWare-authd and VMWare-pass

Juggling url paths and others told me to a page where I get my name-user/pass (my windows login, yes?). I enter and it evokes this:

" Web Serviceat VMware Infrastructure" http://localhost:8222 / sdk "does not (Connection Refused). .

How to "do" something? I understand that they went to a web interface, but I'm unable to access the web interface.

I'm trying to give as much info as I can, but there is really no other info.

Hello

VMware Server Web Access (tomcat6) works just as well? (I think - Yes - but I want to be sure)

Check the host for IPv4 entry file: 127.0.0.1 localhost

You use the Web user interface as an administrator?

If safe mode does not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

  • Windows VISTA Home Prem on DELL Inspiron 1521 will not start

Read the message below. It has been copied from another thread and the poster has been informed to start a new thread with his question. What is ironic, is that I have exactly the same problem on my Dell.

After downloading some updates to Vista my Dell desktop computer restarted and tried to load step 3 updates, it moves very quickly from 0% to 100% and then restarts, only to go back into the same loop of trying to set up step 3 and restart.

I tried the following, starting in safe mode, same results updates are trying to configure.

Auto repair, I am told by a message, it cannot be repaired.

System Restore, I have only 2 system shown to restore points and they are at the time of the upgrade, if I try these points to restore I get an error message.

I tried to reboot from the original installation provided CD but all I get is 'windows is copying files', then a black screen.

I tried the boot iso but neosoft option again to the message windows is to copy the files, and then the black screen.

I'm in thr stage where I can not think of anything else other that to go to a data recovery specialist, to recover the files most important (have over 200 GB of various things on the hard disk) and then reset to factory settings and load data and try and find the sources of all the programs that I had. It looks like an enormous task and it is the main computer for my business. If a kind soul has suggestions as to how I can get this situation somehow, I would be eternally grateful.

    Thanks in advance

I'm fairly warned to get to a point to get my data before a complete reconstruction, however, I give that easy. Anyone else having this problem. I'd really like to find a way to solve.

  • 26 of Firefox crashes out of Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

No matter if I click on the red X, go to file-> exit or press Alt + F4 to exit Firefox under Windows Vista Ultimate 32 - bit. It almost always produces an error message that Firefox has stopped working.

I can't find how to post a JPEG Screenshot of the error here.

This will not occur under Windows XP Pro.

Otherwise, the browser works fine in a BONE.

Those are the two reports of the crash on Adobe Flash Player.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • Satellite A200 (PSAE6) crashes on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit

    Hello

I recently had a few frequent freezes on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit Edition, I think it's maybe the video card (ATI HD2600 mobility). I have already downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the Toshiba site, but it continues to, sometimes, when I'm playing games, the screen blinks for 5 seconds or more and then would become black, completely erased, but the background sound and everything still works well and I am able to shut down the PC by pressing the power button once and then restart it normally.

It's a minor problem, the major problem is the freezing point, it freezes completely without warning, but oddly enough, he freeze by practicing a game! But freezes on normal operations (internet, office, etc.). I did the tests, tests of HARD drive memory, all in good health, and worse, on the Windows Event Viewer could not detect any problem, simply says 'unexpected system shutdown.

    I'd appreciate help please.

    Thank you

Hi I do not know if this will help, but you've got service pack 1 installed on your laptop, as when I installed it on my desktop the first time it caused blue screen errors and gave me a lot of problems, including the error messages that seemed to come with applications, I opened and a boring IQRL driver equal or less than but could not work why and then ultimately , I had so many problems that I had to completely reformat my office and I removed my scanner XP and webcam (both had vista drivers) and when I reinstalled service pack 1, it was beautiful, if by any chance do you have anything attached to your XP laptop and vista drivers as these seemed to be what was causing my errors.

Also a question about your graphic card drivers, I have the same laptop as you and was looking for updates to the graphics driver and couldn't find them anywhere on the site, where did you find yours? I use Vista Home Premium 32 bit, my model number is A200-28 p (PSAE6) and I would like to know if there is a new graphics card driver but can not find on the basis of knowledge, so the fact you have updated your would be could you point a new user in the right direction :-)

  • Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit product key

I bought an upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit used one month without the product key. I have two more days to activate windows. Anyone know where I can get a product key?

    Hello

    Microsoft sells more than Vista.

You will have to take a chance and buy a DVD / a license on Amazon, eBay, etc.

Be careful when you run the risk of buying pirated software.

  • How can I activate speech recognition on my Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit? There is no advanced speech Options to configure.

I tried to activate speech recognition on my computer (Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit) but I can not because when I open the Control Panel, speech recognition options, I see on the upper left corner "text to speech" and under the "see also": "ease of access"and"Audio devices". Is it possible to fix this?

    Hi Marios,

Speech recognition does not either with the English language or Greek as the operating system is in Greek.

Speech recognition is available only in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese.

  • Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit goes to a black screen after login. Completely insensitive.

I seem to have a problem similar but different enough to justify a new thread. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and after the connection, I get a black screen with a cursor that can move normally. However, it becomes more complicated as everyone else. Absolutely NO work of access keys at this point, ctrl-shift-esc, ctrl-alt-delete, windows-r, don't SHIFT five times, NOTHING that other threads have suggested. I can't do anything but restart the computer once it reaches that point.

This is where it gets weird. Regular Safe Mode actually works for me, but is not the Mode safe mode with networking. There has been absolutely no sign of difficulty with this computer before that. I already have Malwarebyte Anti-Malware, it has been updated yesterday. I checked for ntndis in the registry, nothing. I uninstalled my video drivers, now, I have to reinstall because it wasn't the problem. System Restore was only a restore point on March 1, which did nothing even though the computer was working fine, March 1. I do not have the Windows disc, I split the cost with a friend who's in Arizona that I know, and he has probably lost the drive now.

Please help, my office is useless like this. I'm on a laptop, and I have a 512 MB USB key, if something needs to be downloaded on the desktop.

  • How to start VDS in Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit?

I have a problem, and it's been a while and still not solved...

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit right now and I want to upgrade to Windows 7, but installation is NOT going through perhaps because of the virtual disk service.

How to START the virtual disk service? Everytime I try through services, I get an error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.

Please tell me HOW to start the virtual disk service. and please do NOT move this thread on the forum windows 7, I posted in the front Vista section and moved to the region of Win 7, where my problem has not been resolved. Please leave it in this section. Thank you.

Ok. The file is in the right place. The registry is missing the path to
the file. Wonder how that happens - sigh?

Type Regedit in the search box of the start menu.

    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\vds

Right-click on an empty area in the right pane - choose new - extensible
String value. Name ImagePath (F2 key renames it). Double-click
    ImagePath and assign
    %SystemRoot%\System32\vds.exe

Now you can start the service?

    Hi Jarska,

    ·        You did changes to the computer recently before the issue started?

    ·        If your computer came pre-installed with Windows Vista, or you don't have it installed separately?

You receive this error 0xC004E003 when the Software Licensing Service reported that license evaluation failed on your computer. You can access the link below and follow the steps in method C and check if that helps you solve the problem of activation. If the C method does not work, you can follow the steps in method G and try activation using the automated phone system.

  • Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit will not be in service

Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit will not be in service.

I read the other posts and have followed the suggestions. Windows does not start without failure, or any other option in the F8 boot options. Next step is to create a disk to repair windows, Dell did not provide a when the computer was purchased. Can work from any vista repair disc, or I need to find one suitable for my windows edition? Where are these on the Microsoft Web site?

    Thank you!

Thanks for the help. Sorry for the vague information. I was finally able to diagnose memory problems. I have reset the chip memory and repaired the computer by using the option "repair your computer" F8.

Once again, thank you for the help.

    Any ideas anyone please?

Amazing!  I have already mentioned that I lived the problem of the "feature Windows empty window.  Seeing that my initially reported problem and seemed to have similar signs and given that I had a clear explanation on how to solve this problem, I did it - and these two problems are now history.

In the two following links, you will find the description and method to solve the problem of the 'empty Windows feature window' and (b) a method for appropriating errant registry entries.

This * may * solve your problem too - it seems that there is a generic problem with determination rather poor problem feedback.

    Seansnr

    Hi Seansnr,

First of all, if you buy a copy of Windows Vista OEM, make sure that the DVD is the company that allows a computer.  An OEM Dell DVD won't work on a HP or gateway and vice versa.

Personally, if I had to buy it I insist on a DVD and not from someone who says they can install for a fee, and then provide would not buy any media where you will need to re - install in the future.

You could also buy a copy of the sale at retail of Windows Vista, or order an OEM DVD from the manufacturer of your computer.  They can also provide one for a low cost, if it wasn't origionally came with the computer.

If you are interested in a copy retail, they may be ordered and even downloaded directly from Microsoft.
