Windows Vista works in safe mode but not in normal mode. Desktop freezes and cannot go to the Task Manager

My laptop (Dell Inspiron; Windows Vista Home premium 32 bit) works on safe mode and safe mode with n/w mode. When I try to boot into normal mode, it comes to the screen asking my password. You can enter the password. Then, it loads the screen saver and freezes. I see a green circle turning. He never stops. I tried ctrl + alt + delete. It does not work. I did repair the system. No use. I tried the system restore. It shows a file as OS (C :) and another as recovery (x :). I chose the recovery (x :) as file control. He has worked and showed a message like system restore successfully in safe mode. But the normal mode of sill is freezing after the password screen.

A few weeks ago, I was using my computer and it worked very well. Once I got home I turned it on, but it does not turn. After trying several times and get only a black screen I finally got an answer, my computer was looking for solutions, and finally I decided to update it. Once I did, everything seemed to work, but as he was warned many of my apps have been removed. Once I tried to download office, a message appeared and the dignosi said that "a problem is preventing the troubleshooting tool to start. After this, I restarted my PC, but the problem persisted. Then I tried to open the app store and it did not open at all it just poped to the top of the icon of gree. With this problem and no solution, I scanned my computer but nothing. Then I looked on the internet, it seemed to me that many had my problem. Then I tried what more said and noticed that something that I could not even do is run at the prompt as an administrator. It took a lot of my possibilities, and the problem of not being able to download anything at all do not let me even try firefox or install any kind of service. To resolve this problem, I have internet and with the help of my brother, I could do my account manager and perform the sfc can. After that he told me that I had nothing wrong. The next thing I did was try to run "chkdsk/r", after that I could download and install things over the internet so I did a update and installed everything I could. The only problem was that the store and the laptop settings cannot yet open and I tried every utility in the internet troubleshooting and recommendations, but nothing works, I can't even change my background of my photos folder. I can't install the update for Windows vista (KB2718704), a mode without failure or after clean window reboot.

    What should I do?

    Hello

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 7 the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

Method 4: Follow the steps in the article.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

I'm sorry if some of you useful people are tired to see my questions, but...

I have a page with thumbnails (which float right through altruistic Grandpa) and by clicking on each thumbnail opens a new window with a larger photo and text version. It works fine under IE - the window opens and closes as it should - but in FireFox, it creates a second browser window which must be closed manually in order to return to the index page.

Please note that the precise way of closing of Firefox's file (Alt + F) > exit and would usually take a few seconds depending on the history of the parameters of compensation to Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Privacy > settings next to clear history of Firefox closing. • New installation of Windows 7 translates speeds very slow of the internet. Works in safe mode.

    3 weeks ago, I installed windows 7.

For some reason, internet is super slow. I noticed right away because the download of the updates took forever. I thought it was because I need to install the NIC drivers, so I only have the first. It didn't fix it. Then, I searched and tried everything I could find online. The only thing that did work was that if I boot mode safe mode with network speed is very well .

When I discovered that, in safe mode, everything was fine, that I started to disable any service that relates to networking. (As the Base and support Ip filtering engine, etc) This does not solve it so I decided to try the oppisite I started in safe mode with network and then loaded to the top of msconfig and any service that was not running in safe mode, I turned off. Thinking that I start one by one and find out what service was slowing downloads. When I booted in normal mode, the download speeds were still broken.

So I continued then to disable services, I disabled all services which have to do with networking, and to enable windows.  (Things like the service that launches programs. Yes, any program that has not been opened I could not open.) Accordingly, I have concluded that it was not all services.

This is a new installation, so I only installed firefox and flash. (no flash for the speed test) no anti-virus, etc.

Here are a few screens of speed trials. These are actually kind of funny because the download is so fast that downloads.

It is in safe mode with network speed. http://imgur.com/7VJvt

It's the speedtest in normal mode, http://imgur.com/dDp5B

    So here's what I tried.

    • disabled auto-tuning
    • disabled IPv6
    • turned off homegroup
    • reinstalled drivers
    • drivers uninstalled (for default windows drivers)
    • Install different drivers (installed a game on the asus site) and the other on the nvidia site
    • disabled many services to many-on-list really out.
    • disabled Windows defender and windows firewall.
    • I bought new RAM with the win7 update so I tested to see if the RAM was bad. I ran Memtest86 + and it failed. So I took the new RAM and he run and all past. Still doesn't solve it.
    • I reinstalled.
    • I installed another network card.
    • I installed another version of Win 7. (Installed Win7 professional first and after Win7 Ultimate)
    • reinstalled the drivers again.
    • Disable all of the services.
    • A run anti-virus programs. To make sure that there are no viruses. There are not.
    • I connected directly to my router.
    • All the latest windows updates installed.
    • Checked online to see if my hardware is compatible with Win7 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=ASUS%20P5N-D%20ATX%20-%20nForce%20750i%20SLI%20Motherboard&v=ASUS&uid=P5N-D%20BULK&l=en-US&pf=0&pi=0&s=P5N-D&os=64-bit
    • Made sure my router had the latest version of the firmware. There not then I upgraded to V1.9 and it has not solved the problem.

    Thank you.

    FIXED!

So I gave up and gave my computer to my friend at home and take a look. He brought me.

What did do? He went out and bought a new network card. I guess that despite the windows NETWORK card drivers 7 I installed windows for some reason any dislikes the network card. (NVidia nForce 10/100/1000 Mbit / s) It is built in the nice for the card mother P5N - D.

The funny thing is that 3 1/2 weeks, when I had the problem. I asked him what he thought and he said to go out and buy a new network card. When I hesitated to do so, he said he would buy the NIC if it did not work.

In any case, I hope this helps someone maybe who has the same problem, I did.
