Windows will not be automatically extended to 10% battery power!
In power options, I put my system into hibernation automatically if the laptop reached 10% of its energy from the battery. I use Windows 7 Home Premium. From Dell. The battery lasts 3 hours most of the time. Reference Dell thinks that this problem is a problem of operating system. They think that "the signals of the battery are not achieve the thing that controls when the computer is supposed to take action and the hibernation. They won't help because they say that my warranty covers only material. Microsoft is willing to help - for $80!
At the moment my computer is not simply Hibernate at low battery. He just shuts down suddenly because of the insufficient power (obviously).
I don't know that I put the percentages and actions properly in power options.
I don't know if the Windows 7 hibernation feature works properly on my laptop.
Help, please! Thank you for your time :):):)
Hello
Have you asked Dell about possible BIOS, low-level chipset or other drivers they would have
which may affect this issue? Also ask in the Dell forums where there are probably others who have had

Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update

Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as

Why my TestStand deployment installation appear under my Windows will not start menu of my target machine?
I managed to install the deployments of work to the target machines. However, I expected to see the classified facility "My TestStand system" in my Start menu, but it is not. Am I misunderstanding something here?
Also, if I do another target second deployment to the station as "My TestStand system B", all LabVIEW files in my previous installation for "My system TestStand" disappear from the directory (c:\Program Files\My TestStand system) target.
I use TestStand Professional 4.2.1 on Windows XP and LabVIEW 2009 development station.
Thank you Paul,.
That solved my second problem and inspired me to look deeper for the response to my first problem. The answer lies in the tab 'distributed file","Installer properties' box 'create a program item:
Wouldn't be nice if it is automatically checked by default for main sequence files? Wouldn't also nice if "Upgrade Code" was regenerated automatically by default whenever we have saved the file *.tsd under another name?
Thanks again,

Windows will not read the disc media
For some reason, windows will not read dvd or cd or the floppy one and the flash drives or cards of the camera with a usb drive. What would cause this and how then I get back to work? All media works on the other pc.
Always connect these devices to drive/USB card edge USB connection (for desktop Front panel USB ports); never use a connector of the control panel back or USB hubs.

create dvd Windows will not import the mp4, how to get around it, someone knows?
It must convert your mp4 to WMV format video, and then add the wmv in Windows DVD Maker.
There are other formats supported by Windows, but I chose WMV format because it is the most reliable and foolproof format for Windows.
You can google for a free video converter. No need to buy one, unless you are a 'huge' in the making of films and others.
I use Prism video converter. It's free.
I'm not fan of movie maker. Prism is what I need it to do.
