Windows XP SP3 causes reset on startup.

Windows XP SP3 causes reset on startup. Recently had a system and recovery works on SP2, but when I have to this day to SP3 system resets. It will boot in SafeMode ok. I did a F8, disabled reset at startup and got the following error message on BSOD 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XBA2A8756, 0XBA4C3430, 0XBA4C312C}. Before recovery system ran on SP3 very well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is a desk top Compaq 2005 running XP Home Edition.

Boot without failure (but not normal mode) usually there is a 3rd party driver problem.
Please update ALL the drivers for the system on the Compaq site
Also update all old programs and devices you have.
If you do not find an update - uninstall the program.

Do not install a Service Pack is usually:
-obsolete drivers/programs
-malware

    Hello

    Try this:

Control Panel - device - sounds Manager - note manufacturer device name and info on the graduating model.
Double click and get the date and version of the driver (if 06 are dates, you use the default windows driver). Now
Click the DRIVER UPDATE (this can not find anything because MS is far behind the certification of drivers). Now LAW
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it will refresh the driver stack.

Now, go to the manufacturer of the system and recover the last pilot audio/Hi-Fi as a fall.

Download it - SAVE - go to where you put it - RIGHT CLICK top - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT

Now do the same for the manufacturer of the device (the one that made the device - if you were using the default windows
you might need to look in the Device Manager - his new driver).

Often, you will need to run the sound card drivers several times to get the latest version installed and will appear in
Manager - Sound. This is because they make back the drivers one at a time and then finally install the
most recent. Look in the Device Manager to be sure that you have installed the version of the driver is the one showing, if not
run the driver again (reset each time) until the shows a correct.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Windows xp sp3 delay at the start after login

I have a windows xp sp3 with 2 GB of RAM and 250 GB HDD to 45-50minutes to load after I entered my user name and password.

Please, how can I solve this problem. I checked the hard drive for errors, and the system will load faster on e-safe. Mode
    Concerning
    DOE

To connect to your computer, there are a lot of programs, processes and services launch.  It is likely that one or more of these processes contributes to your delay.  The first criterion would be starting for a minimum system.  This is what we call 'Safe Mode'.  When you start your computer, several times, press the F8 key until a black and white screen comes up, and then select "safe mode" or "safe mode with networking" with the arrow keys and starts.  If your computer starts up fairly quickly, then we the non-critical elements that contribute.

To debug this, you use a program that will show you all the programs that start at startup and allow you to temporarily cut some of them to determine what (s) is / are the cause of the problem.   Microsoft has a built-in program called "msconfig" or you can download another program called "autoruns" from Microsoft
    Autoruns: <> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx >

Instructions for the startup and use of msconfig are contained in this article:
"How to solve configuration errors by using the System Configuration utility in Windows XP"

When you find what's causing your problem, the action is usually obvious.  Sometimes UN-installing and reinstalling is all you need to do.

    Hello

The latest version of what I used was 6.1.999.130. I have this problem for a month. When I try to connect using my old MSN login it says "sorry, we did not recognize your connection details".

The latest version crashes after launch.

    Windows XP SP3 32-bit

I spent a month for this problem, but I couldn't. I installed several versions, and each of them was crushed except the version that I mentioned above, even if it generates a connection error. I reinstalled SP3 too.

Finally, the solution was running the command "netsh winsock reset" in the back of box and then reboot the PC.

  • Windows XP SP3 Gets the Windows Update error message: '0x8024D007.

Current system under Windows XP SP3 Gets the error message "0x8024D007" from Windows Update.  I tried methods 1 and 2 described in the Article 956701 but the same error occurs.  Also used REGSVR32 /u to unregister the WUPS2. DLL (mod date 2008-10-16), rename WUPS2. DLL to WUPS2. DLL.old, then copy WUPS2. DLL (mod date 06/08/2009) of a system of SP3 to update and record; This also fails with the error message "0x8024D007.

Question: Can SP3 be removed and reinstalled without affecting existing applications that may have been installed under SP3?  I ordered SP3 on CD and that you plan to use it to reinstall.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    a. He worked before on your computer?
have b. you made changes recently?
    c. do you get error message when your computer breaks down?

The most common cause of this problem is damaged or outdated video card drivers. Please make sure that your video card drivers are up to date.
You can also consider to reinstall the drivers for your video card if the game has worked previously on the same hardware you use now.

Also uninstall and reinstall cs strike and check if it helps.

If yes then you have too much? If the number is indicated as overheating in POST so this has nothing to do with the software at all. It's the support page from Dell for your computer--> http://www.dell.com/support/my-support/us/en/04/product-support/servicetag/JHDFR1S/config?s=BIZ

As near as I know, your Optiplex was conducted in Australia.  If you are indeed in Australia (and you probably, if you have a modem/router of Telstra), I have no information on what products could be made available to you or where you could buy them.

My personal preference would be an adapter that includes a cable for the antenna is not positioned between the back of your computer and the wall.  However, if your computer will be less a few meters from the router, there is not much difference, and you can use an adapter that looks like a USB key (or smaller).  My guess is that all of the products on this page might work for you--> http://www.mwave.com.au/networking-wireless/adapters-addon-cards-wireless?view=40&pricerangeid=1&filter=383%3Dusb&filteroptions=383%3Dinterface that the correct driver should be included on a CD supplied with the appliance.
