  With windows, access device mgr by right click on my computer > properties > Hardware tab > Device Manager button. Locate the keyboard in the list. Right-click on it and select the driver tab choose to uninstall the driver. Now, click on the button to update the driver. See if this will solve the problem.

I also tried to use my restore disc supplied with my pc. So far, I've only tried the non-destructive recovery to restore windows and it did not work.
