windows32\mscoree.dll

c\windows32\mscoree.dll I get this message, I don't know what that means as I can't download Itunes sorry I am a novice and don't know how to explain it

Wha t anti-virus do you use?

Is up to date?

Download Malwarebytes Anti-malware to www.malwarebytes.org - it's free - and install it. To update, but do NOT enable the real-time protection, as there may be a problem with other software.

Run a Full scan in your main, and fast user account analysis in all other user accounts you have.

Delete everything it finds.

Who help me?

(Sorry for the little that I have edited on!)

I get e-mails from MS Answers that I need to do something on this issue.  It has been a long time but I never solved this problem because my Internet access was off remotely, I guess, and I had to get a new computer.  The guys at Best Buy said that the instructions in the Internet have been removed.  I thought that maybe someone here did to put me out of my misery - some of you have said I shouldn't have this computer on the Internet.  It's kind of why I drop this conversation.  Anyway, I have more a safety issue.  Thanks for your help.

  • Satellite A100 WIndows XP SP3 - Corrupted registry?

Toshiba Satellite A100 WIndows XP SP3.

A few days ago I noticed that windows update has stopped working and I had network problems. New research has shown that the BITS service did not start and other services such as DCOM did not begin. Fix - It of MS failed with the error code 7255. I tracked the issue to a possible Trojan horse as the registry keys had been renamed % fystemroot %. I've edited the keys to any %, according to online tips and delivered to market successfully. This has not fixed the BITS issue but more googling suggested that I needed a parameters key that included the Systemdll=%systemroot%\windows32\qmgr.dll value in the BIT key in HKLM system.

I added this, but now when machine re boots I get a partial screen, no task bar, I can perform certain tasks by CTRL-ALT-DEL and the functioning of the Task Manager. I tried to cancel the changes by running regedit, but it does not work. None of the user accounts, even in the CMD has access to most of the services or the directories.

I have the Toshiba repair disk but it seems to want to do a complete re-install XP, while I have backups, it would be my last option because I still have to lose data.

    Hi EricLeonard,

Reinstallation of the operating system of Windows, or upgrade your OS on-site is a troubleshooting step extreme that you should only take if you fully understand the ramifications and risks involved. A relocation cannot solve the problem you are experiencing.

The two dll files you mentioned in your query is related to the .net framework.

    · What is the service pack installed on your computer?

    · What happens when you go online or open the application?

    · You receive an error message or error code?

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

Determine the version of the .net framework is installed on your computer. You can check the link below:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785

  • error code 0 x 88985003

I recently updated a graphics program, Paint.Net, to the most recent version v3.5.5.  He properly installed and works well in all means, until I selected the text tool.  This automatically causes the program to crash.   I sent several newspapers accident in accordance with the instructions on the crash logs to NDS.  After trying everything I can think on my own, I was in the Paint.Net forums.  The answer on the Paint.Net forums is: "the log of the accident shows that the error code is 0 x 88985003 and after some research, this is the error code of DirectWrite for file not found, and they suspect I have a font that is poorly installed or has been deleted incorrectly (I don't know how/why not). The answer said that it was probably the police no matter what I tried to use with the text tool. "The thing is that all you have to do is select the text tool and the program crashes.  I have two other programs charts, PSPx2 and Artweaver and the great text tool works in two entities with all fonts.  I tried UN-installing, reboot, reinstall, reboot... I downloaded and ran the program Windows Install Cleanup Utility after you uninstall programs.  I deleted two new fonts that I had installed just before the upgrade, I uninstalled program Microsoft Security Essentials AV I had installed just before the upgrade.  I uninstalled the latest version of Paint.Net and installed older versions which worked great before.  Now, they block the program when the text tool is selected.  I have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and it is up-to-date and seems to work fine, but I Redid the download again in the repair mode just to be sure. I went back to a restore point before the NDS update.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with IE, I usually use FF.  I posted this problem on the forums of PC Toshiba laptop - no response.  This morning I arrived just to think of trying to re - set my defaults on NDS. Duh.  So I just went in and reset their and the text tool worked.  Once I left hit my head against the wall, I tried again.  It still worked... by default is Arial fonts.  So I tried selecting another font that I work with a large number and has been installed on my computer for well over a year and Yes, it crashed.  I tried police Georgia... don't... plant sounds a Bell to anyone no matter what I might try?  My computer is a Toshiba Satellite L305D, Vista Home Premium SP2 3.00 GB of memory.

I have the same fonts, same anit-virus and the same upgrade Paint.Net v3.5.5 installed on my desktop at home.  Everything works very well.  My office is a HP, Vista Home Premium SP2 with only 1.00 GB memory.  For any help or suggestion would really be a big help.

I'm back to post the answer to my problem.  I appreciate your help above but... 3 great guy came to my rescue set this afternoon to the NDS... YAH!

    That's all it took:

    Open any folder.

In the high-head of the Windows Explorer window, click:

Organize > folder and Search Options > view

    Put a checkmark in:

Display the hidden files and folders
    ---------------

    Remove the check mark:

Hide the protégés of the files of the operating system (recommended)
    ---------------

Now navigate to and delete this file.

    C:\Windows\System32\FNTCACHE. DAT

Restart the PC and check if crash happens again.

  • After running Dell OS re - install DVD, my e1705 not illuminate

My Inspiron e1705 were running slowly and I kept getting the error at startup messages, so I decided to use the drive of resettlement for re - set the operating system (Win XP Media Edition).  While the installation was heading, I received several error messages:

s24trans.sys file required on Intel Pro/Wireless Transport Driver Install Disk

The procedure entry point GetRequestedRunTimeVersion could not be located in the dynamic link library mscoree.dll

    C:\Windows| Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll is not found

I cancelled in each message because I could not see any alternatives.  The process finished, and I was in XP with everything looking normal.  I closed my computer. As he was closing a pop - up of Avast said that a threat was found.  If I had Avast on the computer for awhile, I don't think I've seen one of these before pop-ups.  The computer closed before I could read.

I then tried to restart the computer.  When I pressed the button, the small yellow light while my finger was on the button, but nothing else happened.  The computer has not yet started turn on.  I tried the button several times, of course.  I wonder if the drive somehow got fried.  Ideas, suggestions?

The hard drive being fried wouldn't stop the system of power that the system can operate without a hard drive. However, it might be the motherboard failure or the charger does not work.

First remove the power cord, then remove the battery. Then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then reinsert the battery and reinstall the charger and leave it for a few hours and then try powering upward.

Apparently, someone had the same problem with a similar question,
But Hamilia S methods did not work and the links he posted

    http://forums.create.msdn.com/forums/56.aspx

does not work for me: they send me to a page that don't talk how about "developing applications for Windows phone or Xbox" and redirects you to the windows phone / xbox live Web pages.

A quick Google search led me to another thread dedicated to the problem:

    http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/Microsoft-XNA-Framework-4-0-problem.5540/

me and user "Kaboshi" has had the same problem, and and other users said:

Download the newspaper probably will help because it will give developers more info focus on (once they're back).
For reference here is a link to another relevant article, it might not help you directly, but it could be useful for developers or those seeking on the other on the issue and has basic techniques:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2010/12/29/10110053.aspx

In the article I posted above, he says mscoree.dll could fail to update during the installation of .NET framework 4, and the Setup program may not be aware of it. Go to your windows system32 or syswow64 folder and check the properties of mscoree.dll - if it's version 2.0 instead of 4.0 then the .NET framework has not been installed correctly. See this article for more information.

I checked mscoree.dll in my system32 folder and in the properties-> details, it indicates the version of the file / version of the product is 2.0.50727.4927 and last modified on 06/10/2009 16:40. Several messages later, one of the "nbeerbower" users seem to have found a solution:

Hey everybody! I had exactly the same problem! In fact, none of my programs using .NET 4 would work! But I searched the internet to fix this bug.

The problem is the result of .NET 4 installer never update .NET 2 mscoree.dll. So, here's the new dll and some instructions on how to solve this problem.

    http://www.Megaupload.com/?d=MBCL8TKC
(if for some reason any you do not approve the download see here http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vssetup/thread/a09baa85-635d-420c-a88a-de05f75c8140 to get otherwise)

Hi, I'm nbeerbower. I have trouble with my .NET 4.0 and it generated an error 2908 Installing XNA which is necessary for terrariums.
The problem is, because for some reason any .NET 4 does not update .NET 2 mscoree.dll.
Here is a "kit" to help you fix it.

    1. open take Ownership.reg and add registry keys. This allows you to easily replace mscoree.dll
    2. go in Windows/system32 (if you have a x 64 OS also do the SAME procedure in the Windows/SysWOW64 folder)
    3. find mscoree.dll and right click and take Ownership(you can alsocheck properties and see version, if it's 2.00 then this fix will work!)
    4. replace the included mscoree.dll
    5. repeat in SysWOW64 so you have a 64 bit OS

    Have fun!

    -nbeerbower

P.S., Make sure that you restart your computer after!

This solves the problem for users, but I have a problem. Of course the Megaupload link no longer works and the other link.

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vssetup/thread/a09baa85-635d-420c-a88a-de05f75c8140,

    also has links; This, specifically:

    2. Rename mscoree.dll.  It is a real pain.  Go here for the instructions (not for the fainthearted): http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/setupprerelease/thread/150d05c4-4df4-47ec-b7a6-a66f3a55cd08

It can also be connected to the issues I had with installing the .NET Framework v4.0:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-windows_programs/NET-Framework-initialization-error/21d069d4-44b7-403a-9e1f-de6d75ffdc36

Any help or the other problem is appreciated. It seems that other users have solved the problem, so there is probably a solution hidden in one of the threads that I missed.

Hey there fellow. From the outset, I would apologize for bumping this thread if the OP found a satisfactory solution to their particular issue - as well as an apology to resurrect a debate closed if it's already been resolved.

I came across this problem, try to run a particular game that required the .net framework version 4; a game that I had literally played earlier the same day. I use 32 bit Windows 7, so that the details of my solution may or may not be applicable to your situation. What I did to fix my problem was simply to repair my installations of .net Framework extended and .net Framework 4 Client Profile. After this, I restarted my computer, uninstalled my XNA Framework and reinstalled. After that, the game starts and runs without a problem.

Not sure if my problem was an exception or if it will help someone else situation, but I thought I'd post my experience just in case it would be of any help. Good luck out there.

  • Surface pro App error 0 x 80240437

    Hey all!

I was just buying a surface pro and tried to install apps from the app store. But the app was just waiting for a certain time, then an error has occurred, he says "something has happened and this app could not be installed. Please try again. "Error code: 0 x 80240437.

I searched online for solutions. One of the recommended solution is to use troubleshooting utility to analyze problems, but it seems not useful to me. It only detects problems of "missing or corrupt files" and "graphics card may be out of date" and still no solution for the installation of app error.

Could someone help to find the solution?

    Thank you very much!
