wireless connection from the laptop to the tv using windows

I saw a commercial stating that we can connect on tv to our WIFI laptop using windows 7. I can't understand how do... Can someone help me please? :/

To simply connect to TV with no other device the TV must support DLNA and be connected to your network.  Once you have that in place, you can use the Play To feature to send content to the TV of any Windows 7 machine on your network.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the replacement unit.

Try to remove the printer (or all existing printers) and then add your printer by opening the Preferences tab and then selecting «printers & scanners»

From there, click on the sign less under the printer icon to remove the printer and then add again using the sign.

  • Unable to connect to the internet using Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

Just installed Windows Vista Home Premium and cannot connect to the internet.  The network card is a Broadcom 802.11n and a code appears who says: device cannot start (Code 10).  Does anyone know how I could fix this problem?

I think that you don't have the right driver.

Go to the website of FAB and look for downloads or support and type in your model number and find the driver for the network card.

    Thank you.

  • I can't open the .jpg files from the desktop using "Windows Photo Gallery" as the default program. They open normally from nowhere elsewhere, but not directly from the desktop. No error, nothing happens.

If I right click 'open with' open with other programs like IE but not "Windows Photo Gallery". It is not a specific .jpg file, this is all .jpg files. For example... I have a .jpg file in a folder on my desktop, open folder double click, it will open in the "Windows Photo Gallery". Copy and paste the SAME file on the desktop, double-click on, nothing happens. I tried to restart, change the default value of IE, open the file, it opens, by default change to "Windows Photo Gallery" doesn't work... I am confused?

    Hello

Welcome to the community of Windows Vista answers.

    Method 1:

This can happen in the database that keeps track of all the photos and videos in your collection is damaged. You can rebuild your database by:

    (1) close Windows Live Photo Gallery

    (2) · Click Start

    (3) · Click on my computer

    (4) · Paste this address into the address field %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Photo Gallery

    (5) · Right-click Pictures.pd5

    (6) click on rename

    (7) · Change the name of the file to OLD_Pictures.pd5

    (8) · Restart the computer and then try to open the Windows Photo Gallery.

    Method 2:
Try using the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to check and repair corrupt system files.  To do this, follow these steps:

    How to run scan SFC

    1. click on the Start button

    2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

    3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option

    4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option

5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

    6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter

    7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.

    8. be patient because the analysis may take some time

    9. If all of the necessary files any replacement SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue

    10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

11 after the scan finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.

  • 5520 HP usb and a wireless connection at the same time

I have set up my new 5520 HP with USB connected to my desktop (Vista) for maximum reliability and can print via printer share from my laptop (XP), but I'm obviously missing out on HP web services.  Can I have the USB connection or wireless connection at the same time?

    Hello f1charlie,

Its new r: YES, because it would be 2 printer icons. One for the USB and the other for the wireless.

The icon of the printer wireless would be similar to Hp 5520 (network).

You can set these printer (USB or network) icon to by default.

But again, every time that you want to print using any application. Click file > print, which will display a dialog box, where, in, you can select the printer icon.

    Kind regards
    Jabzi

  • Connection from the desktop (Vista) to the WRTP54G via an Ethernet cable

I replaced my old XP desktop with new Dell XPS One with Vista. The old office was connected to my router (WRTP54G - Firmware Version: 5.01.04) via Ethernet cable and worked like a charm. A new won't recognize this connection - is seen as "unidentified network" with "access: Local only". The wireless connection on the same office works, but I still don't understand why I can't it be connected via cable. My XP laptop is not yet had problems with this Ethernet connection to the router - it recognizes immediately as the connection to the local network and connects to the Internet.

I suspect there is a problem with the WRTP54G in the Vista environment, because the Ethernet connection started work immediately after I have had bypassed the router and connected the office directly to the cable modem.

Any help to fix this problem will be greatly appreciated.

  • After the HP update cannot connect to the Internet using my ISP wireless

I have a HP Pavillion15 Notebook PC, Prod #: E7C83AV using Windows 8. Hp yesterday made an update, and subsequently, my computer does not connect to the Internet, using the same network wireless ISP.  Only way I can get Internet is to use the DSL unit to the computer USB cord.  I had a "Configuration for Invalid IP (106)"

My ISP is still in my system with the same password, and I can't find any reason why it does not connect.  I have all the correct lights on my computer & the DSL unit.  I have not contacted my ISP, do not know what to say "After HP did an update, your service will not work?"

Tonight I tried to get help from HP, big whoopie, even when I'm in warranty for 9 months, I was transferred to HP/SmartFriends, who told me that I had to pay for the assistance.  It won't happen!

I don't know what to do now, I'm not very computer savvy and if HP won't help, do not know where to turn now.

    I'm fighting mad now!

    Someone please help.

  • Problems connecting to the internet using the wireless network connection

I can't connect to the internet using my wireless network connection. I had made the diagnosis and he stated that "the DHCP is not enabled for the wireless network connection. I had checked the DHCP, but it has been activated!... Someone would give any suggestion for me to solve the problem?

Open the run command box by pressing Windows key + R, type services.msc and press enter . Search The Client DHCP and check if it is enabled or disabled. If disabled then turn it on and see if the problem still persists or not.

Open the run command box by pressing Windows key + R, type cmd , and press enter . At the command prompt, type ipconfig/all and press ENTER. Now, check the IP address, default gateway, DNS etc. If you find all the information is correct, but you cannot yet access the Internet so if you connect the wireless network is secure or not. To determine the glance to the wireless network icon in the taskbar, then click on it. It will show you the available wireless networks. If there is a "yellow shield" present on the network icon, the network is not guaranteed, if there is no "yellow shield" does while the network is secure. In a secure network, you might have a "network security key. In this case try to disable the 'Network security key' option for this network. To do this:

Open Control Panel , click network and Internet , click network and sharing Center , click manage wireless networks on the left.

In the list select the wireless network and do a right click, select Properties, Security disable tab all options that is, in security type do not select no authentication (Open) and to the type of encryption , select none . You can also activate the automatic connection and SSID settings to further enhance connectivity, on the connection tab, click to select the "connect automatically if this network is in range " and "check boxesto connect even if the network is broadcasting his name (SSID) .

For more information click here and see how you can determine whether a network is secure or not.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-do-I-know-if-a-wireless-network-is-secure

If the problem still persists, then check your firewall settings and make sure that the firewall is not blocking your Internet connection. Some software Antivirus has a built-in firewall and they block by default all unknown connection to the tightening of security.

Try to restore Windows Firewall default settings. Open Control Panel click on network and Internet , click system and security , click Windows Firewall , click default settings .

Hope this will help. Thank you.

  • Failure of wireless connection to the router to the desktop

I use Windows 7 and a router/modem method. The wireless connection to the internet recently stopped working in my HP Pavilion desktop computer. He still works for my tablet, but I can only connect to my desktop by Ethernet cable. It would seem that the fault lies in my office. The icon in the bottom right of the screen shows the wireless internet available as internet access card. I can't find any disabled dialog box display the Wi - Fi connection and troubleshooting shows no defects with network cards. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If I understand you correctly, when you click the icon in the system Notification area, you can see a list of the available connections, including the SSID of your wireless network.

    If this interpretation is correct

    • Unplug the Ethernet cable
    • open network and sharing Center
    • Click on the link 'manage wireless network '.
    • Select your network
    • Click 'delete '.
    • Now close the window manage wireless networks
    • Click on the network icon, select your network
    • Click on connect
    • Enter the security password when prompted.
